NetComm NP3680 User manual

NetComm’s NP3680 and NP3680W USB 2.0 2-port Multi-Function servers
have been designed to make it easy to connect and share a host of USB
peripherals to your wired or wireless network†. The NP3680 and NP3680W
feature two USB 2.0 host ports which enables you to connect printers, MFPs,
scanners and USB storage devices including hard disk drives and card readers
via Ethernet to your LAN.
The NP3680W also features an 11g wireless antenna for total network
connectivity. Wireless security is a key feature of the NP3680W and NetComm
has incorporated support for the latest wireless security standards WPA, WEP
and 802.1X (EAP).
With the Web-based management interface, system configuration and
maintenance is easy. The menu system will walk you through the whole
configuration procedure. The built-in FTP server allows you to access files
over the Internet and provides user level security, making it easier to store
and receive data. For added convenience, both servers feature an “INIT”
button. When pressed, the server will print a configuration report to check its
connections, perform a reset to factory default of your MFP server or upgrade
to the newest firmware.
The NP3680 or NP3680W is ideal for home or small business users wanting
to maximise their productivity and investment in USB peripherals.
