22MM REAR TORSION BAR
FITS: 2014-up AUDI A3(8V) FWD, 2015-up VW MK7 GOLF & GOLF SPORTWAGEN
With Torsion Beam Rear Axle
PART # 25.02.22.2
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
PARTS LIST: 1 –TORSION BAR 2 –BACKING PLATE
2 –M14X30MM BOLT 4 –M10X25MM BOLT
2 –M14 LOCK NUT 4 –M10 LOCK NUT
2 –M14 WASHERS 2 –M10 SPACERS
TOOLS REQUIRED: 1 –15MM WRENCH 1 –18MM SOCKET
1 –17MM SOCKET 1 –21MM WRENCH
1 –HAMMER 1 –CHISEL
1. Park car on a flat, level surface capable of supporting the vehicle’s weight on jack and jack stands. Using the
manufacturer’s recommended lifting point(s), raise rear of vehicle and support with jack stands. NEVER WORK ON A
VEHICLE SUPPORTED ONLY WITH A JACK!
2. Using a chisel and hammer knock off any welding
splatter around holes on axle beam where NEUSPEED
Torsion Bar will mount.
3. Exploded view of hardware assembly.
4. Install M14x30mm bolt thru Torsion Bar mount
with 14mm washer on top, then install into hole in
torsion beam.
5. Install backing plate thru slot in torsion beam and
M14 locknut and then install M10x25mm bolt and M10
locknut into other hole. Do not tighten at this time.
Repeat for other side. NOTE: Slight bend in backing
plate, position ends upward.
6. Install M10x25mm bolt thru hole for rear mount.
7. Install 10mm spacer between Torsion Bar rear
mount and factory beam, then install 10mm locknut.
Do not tighten at this time. Repeat for other side.

8. Now tighten M14 bolts first then the M10 bolts.
9. NOTE: Check M14 washer seats up inside hole in
torsion beam.
TORQUE SPECS:
M14 Bolt 135Nm (100 ft-lbs)
M10 Bolt 61Nm (45 ft. lbs.)
