BETTY & BERTIE LUPIN User manual

LUPIN
LUPIN
REAR BAG
REAR BAG
PARTS NEEDED:
PART B: THE BAG
PART A: LUPIN THE SCOOTER
PART C: TOOLS REQUIRED
STEP 1
Locate the back of the seat
on the Lupin and look for
these screws highlighted.
They are the ones directly
under the backrest.
STEP 2
You'll notice there are 2
cable ties that hold the
wiring neatly to the seat.
You will need to CAREFULLY
cut the zip ties off to allow
room for movement.
STEP 3
Locate the screws and use
the spanner to hold the bolt
on the inside whilst
unscrewing the screw from
the outside. (You may find it
a little tight at first)
STEP 4
Once the screws have been
removed, do not throw
them away as you will need
them in-case you want to
remove the bag in future
STEP 5
The screws you need for the
bag will be located on the
bag already. Remove them
from the bag and put to the
side ready to use later
STEP 6
Line up the bag to the holes
and ensure you have the
bag the correct way up!
(This can be a little hard to
do first try so take your time
with it)
STEP 7
You may find that one side goes in well
and the other is a little tight. If this is the
case then you can tap it in GENTLY with
the end of rubber mallet.
NOTICE - The screw is to go on the
outside of the frame and washer & nut
go on the inside of the frame
STEP 8
Hold the frame in place
(ensure the holes are lined up
with the other side) and start
to screw in the screw.
You may need another person
to help hold the frame.
STEP 9
You may also find it easier to
use the bolt to hold the nut in
place while you screw the
screw in. Once you have one
side in, you may find it easier
to push the seat down and use
the support from the seat to
push on the other side.
STEP 10
Once the bag is fitted,
the screws will look like
this
STEP 11
Once complete, your scooter will look like this and
it's ready to use! Just remember when using that
the maximum load capacity is not exceeded.
