Tape player
1. The objec of he game is o score as high as
you can while keeping your opponen 's poin s low.
2. Play agains he compu er or ano her person.
En er your names.
3. Two player version: Player 1 con rols he
( ) arrow using he "Z" and "X" keys o move i
horizon ally. Player 2 con rols ie ( ) arrow,
using he "CRSR DN" and he "CRSR RT" keys o
move I ver ically.
4. Player 1: Move he arrow un il you are
under he number you wan and press he
SPACE bar. The number will disappear from he
screen and be added o your score. Player 2:
Move your arrow up or down, choose a number
and press he SPACE bar.
5. Keep in mind ha your move de ermines
which row your opponen has o pick a number
from. So ry o score high while forcing
your opponen o score low.
6. Play con inues un il here are no more moves
available.
7. The player wi h he highes poin o al wins.
8. Single player version: Play Is he same as
above. The compu er will assume he role of
player 2.
9. To play again, press FI key.

TO LCAD A TAPE
1. CAUTION: Remove any expansion from your
Commodore 6/1 Compu er before a emp ing o
Load his program.

3. Turn on he power svl ch, “READY" should
appear on he screen.
4. Place he ape casse e in he player wi h
he label up and press he REWIND key on he
casse e uni . When he ape is rewound press
he s op key.
5. On he keyboard ype "LOAD" and press
RETURN.
6. Your screen will say 'PRESS PLAY ON TAPE' -
press PLAY on he casse e uni , he compu er's
screen will go blank for abou 10 seconds.
7. When he compu er finds he program he
screen will come back on. I will say 'FOUND'...
(name of program). Press he COMMODORE key
(lower lef key on he keyboard). The screen wll
go blank again for 1 o 5 minu es (depending on
he leng h of he program being loaded).
8. When he program is finished loading he
compu er's screen will display 'READY' wi h a
blinking curser. Press he STOP bu on on he
casse e uni .
9. Type "R U N " on he keyboard and press RETURN.
10. If he program fails o load hen TURN THE
COMPUTER OFF and go back o s ep 2.
11. If he program s ill fails o load check
o be sure ha all cables are secure and he
read/wri e head on he casse e uni la no
dir y or ou of alignmen . Refer o your owner s
manual.
12. Always urn he compu er off momen arily
before a emp ing o load any o her program.

ADD'EM UP!
A thinking game for one or two players.
It s played on a field of random numbers.
Player one can play the horizontal rows
and player two (or the computer, in the
single version) plays from the vertical
rows. The object is to score as high as
you can while leaving your opponent with
just the low numbers. Add em Up can be
as hard or as easy as you want to play it.
