CDRH Regulations
The Center for Devices and Radiological Health (CDRH) of the U.S. Food and Drug
Administration implemented regulations for laser products on August 2, 1976. These
regulations apply to laser products manufactured from August 1, 1976. Compliance is
mandatory for products marketed in the United States.

specied herein or in the laser product installation guide may result in hazardous radiation

Coating Notice
IMPORTANT! To provide electrical insulation and maintain electrical safety, a coating is applied
to insulate the device except on the areas where the I/O prots are located.
Safety information
Disconnect the AC power and peripherals before cleaning. Wipe the Desktop PC using a clean
cellulose sponge or chamois cloth dampened with solution of nonabrasive detergent and a few
drops of warm water then remove any extra moisture with a dry cloth.
• DO NOT place on uneven or unstable work surfaces. Seek servicing if the casing has been
damaged.
• DO NOT expose to dirty or dusty environments. DO NOT operate during a gas leak.
• DO NOT place or drop objects on top and do not shove any foreign objects into the Desktop
PC.
• DO NOT expose to strong magnetic or electrical elds.
• DO NOT expose to or use near liquids, rain, or moisture. DO NOT use the modem during
electrical storms.
• Battery safety warning: DO NOT throw the battery in re. DO NOT short circuit the contacts.
DO NOT disassemble the battery.
• Use this product in environments with ambient temperatures between 5˚C (41˚F) and 40˚C
(104˚F).
• DO NOT cover the vents on the Desktop PC to prevent the system from getting overheated.
• DO NOT use damaged power cords, accessories, or other peripherals.

• To prevent electrical shock hazard, disconnect the power cable from the electrical outlet
before relocating the system.
• Seek professional assistance before using an adapter or extension cord. These devices could
interrupt the grounding circuit.
• Ensure that your power supply is set to the correct voltage in your area. If you are not sure
about the voltage of the electrical outlet you are using, contact your local power company.
• If the power supply is broken, do not try to x it by yourself. Contact a qualied service
technician or your retailer.
While installing additional memory modules, follow the table below to ensure system
stability and avoid possible booting up failure.

Follow the instructions below when you install three or more DIMMs:
1. Install two DIMMs with the same capacity in the slots of the same channel (A1&A2 or B1&B2),
preferentially in A1&A2.
2. Install DIMMs with larger capacity in the slots next to the CPU (B1&B2). In case of inconsistency,
follow the above conguration table and then the 1st instruction.
3. Install DIMMs from the same manufacturer in the slots of the same channel (A1&A2 or B1&B2),
preferentially in A1&A2. In case of inconsistency, follow the above conguration table and then
the 1st instruction.
Hazardous Moving Parts Warning
WARNING: Keep ngers and other body parts away from any moving parts.

Replacing fan components should only be attempted by qualied service personnel.

This product contains a coin / button cell battery. If the coin / button cell battery is swallowed, it can
cause severe internal burns in just 2 hours and can lead to death.
Keep new and used batteries away from children.
If the battery compartment does not close securely, stop using the product and keep it away from

immediate medical attention.

The Desktop PC does not support Windows® 7 operating system. ASUS is not responsible for
any loss or damage incurred by installing Windows® 7.

1. Power button. Press this button to turn on your computer.
2. USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports. The Universal Serial Bus 3.2 Gen 1 (USB 3.2 Gen 1) ports connect to
USB 3.2 Gen 1 devices such as a mouse, printer, scanner, camera, PDA, and others.
We strongly recommend that you connect USB 3.2 Gen 1 devices to USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports for faster
and better performance for your USB 3.2 Gen 1 devices.
3. USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C® ports. The Universal Serial Bus 3.2 Gen 1 (USB 3.2 Gen 1) Type-C®
port connect to USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C® devices.
The output voltage of the USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C® port is 5V, 0.9A.
4. Microphone port. This port connects to a microphone.
5. Headphone port. This port connects to a headphone or a speaker.
6. Headset hanger. Press to open the headset hanger (with maximum load up to 1kg) and
hang your headset here.

1. DisplayPort. This port is for a DisplayPort-compatible device.
2. HDMI™ ports. These ports are for High-Denition Multimedia Interface (HDMI™) connectors,
and are HDCP compliant allowing playback of HD DVD, Blu-ray, and other protected content.
• The on-board DisplayPort and HDMI™ port only work while using a CPU with integrated
graphics.

• If there is an external graphics card on your computer, please connect your monitor to the
display output port on it.
3. USB 2.0 ports. These 9-pin Universal Serial Bus (USB) ports are for USB 2.0 devices.
4. USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports. These 9-pin Universal Serial Bus (USB) ports are for USB 3.2 Gen 2
devices.
We strongly recommend that you connect USB 3.2 Gen 2 devices to USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports for faster
and better performance for your USB 3.2 Gen 2 devices.

5. Microphone port (pink). This port connects to a microphone.
6. Line Out port (lime). This port connects to a headphone or speaker. In a 4, 5.1, or
7.1-channel conguration, the function of this port becomes Front Speaker Out.
7. Line In port (light blue). This port connects to a tape, CD, DVD player, or other audio
sources.
Refer to the audio conguration table below for the function of the audio ports in the 2, 4, 5.1,
or 7.1-channel conguration.

11. Intel® Wi-Fi 6 ports (optional). These ports connect to Wi-Fi antennas.

13. Air vents. These vents allow air ventilation.
DO NOT block the air vents on the chassis. Always provide proper ventilation for your computer.
