of Dangerous Goods andCommission.
•The LP gas tank musthavea shutoffvalve terminating
in anLP valve outletthat is compatible withaType 1. LP
gas supplycylindermusthave a shutoff valve
terminatinginavalve outletspecifiedforconnectiontype
QCC1 in the standardfor compressedgas cylindervalve
outlet and inletconnectionANSI/CGA-V-1 as applicable.
LP gas supplycylindermustbe fitted withan Overfill
ProtectionDevice (O.P.D) The LP gas tank mustalso
have a safety reliefdevice that has a direct connection
with the vapor spaceof the tank. This safetyfeature
prevents the tank from being overfilled,whichcan cause
malfunctionofthe LP gas tank, regulatorand/orgrill.
•The tank supplysystem mustbe arrangedforvapor
withdrawal.
•The LP gas tank usedmusthavea collarto protect the
tank valve.
•Placedustcap on cylindervalve outletwhenever the
cylinder is not inuse.Only installthetype of dustcapon
the cylinder valve outlet that is provided with the cylinder
valve. Other types of cap or plugs mayresultinleakage
ofpropane.
•Never connect anunregulated LPgas tank to your gas
grill.
•This outdoorcookinggas applianceis equippedwitha
high-capacityhose/regulatorassemblyforconnection to
a standard20lb. (9.1 kg) Liquid propanecylinder.
•Have your LP gas tank filled by a reputable propane gas
dealerandvisuallyinspectedandre-qualifiedateach
filling.
•Do not storea spareLPgas cylinderunderor near this
appliance.
•Never fill the cylinder beyond80 percentfull.
•Always keep LP gas tankin an uprightposition.
•Do not storeor use gasoline orotherflammable vapors
and liquids in the vicinity of this or any otherappliance.
•Storageof an outdoorcooking gas applianceindoorsis
permissible onlyif the cylinderis disconnected and
removedfrom the outdoorcooking gas appliance.
•When your gas grillis not in usethegas mustbeturned
off at LP gas tank.

before each use of the grill.If there is excessive
abrasion orwearor if the hoseis cut, it mustbe replaced
priorto the grill beingputinto operation.The
replacementhose assemblyshall be that specified by
the manufacturer.
•Pressureregulatorandhoseassemblysuppliedwiththe
outdoorcookinggas appliance mustbe used.Never
substituteothertypes of regulator.Contactcustomer
service for manufacturerspecifiedreplacementparts.
•This outdoorcookinggas applianceis equippedwitha
pressureregulatorcomplywiththe standardfor
PressureRegulatingValves for LP Gas ANSI/ UL 144.
•Do not usebriquettes ofanykind inthe grill.
•The grillis designedforoptimum performance without
the use of briquettes.Do not place briquettes on the
radiantas this willblockoff the areafor the grillburners
to vent. Adding briquettes candamageignition
components and knobsandvoid the warranty.
•Keep the back andsidecart free and clear from debris.
Keep any electrical supplycord, or the rotisserie motor
cord awayfrom the heatedareas of the grill.
•Never usethe grillin extremelywindyconditions.If
locatedin a consistentlywindyarea(oceanfront,
mountaintop,etc.)a windbreakwillberequired.Always
adhereto the specified clearance.
•Never usea dentedor rustypropane tank.
•Keepany electricalsupplycordand the fuelsupplyhose
awayfrom anyheatedsurface.
•While lighting,keepyour face andhands as far away
from the grillas possible.
•Burneradjustmentshouldonlybe performed afterthe
burnerhave cooled.
WARNING
Your grillwillget very hot.Never leanover the cooking
area whileusingyour grill.Do not touchcookingsurfaces,
grill housing,lidorany othergrillparts whilethe grillis in
operation,or untilthe gas grillhas cooleddownafteruse.
