Xpy530 setup with DDNS
Preliminary steps:

In order to assign a compatible network IP address to the Xpy530 camera, log in to the router and
verify the DHCP address range pool. The address in this example ranges from 192.168.0.100 -
192.168.0.150. In order to avoid any conflicts with the router’s DHCP pool, the range of the DHCP
pool used by the router will need to be changed. In this example, the range has been updated to
192.168.0.150 - 192.168.0.200.
With this change being made, the default IP address on the camera, which is 192.168.0.126, can
now be applied. Then update the camera’s port to be in between the 1025 - 65536. In this case, the
port 1025 is used.
NOTE: the chosen port for the camera should also be added and enabled on the router.

In this example, a Nexxt Solutions router will be used. First, login into the router using 192.168.0.1 as
its address, and select Advanced settings to continue.
Next, select Virtual server followed by Port range forwarding. Enter the port and IP address of the camera.
In this example, 1025 will be used as the port identifier, and 192.168.0.126 as the IP. Under the Protocol,
click on Both and ensure the Enable option is selected, as shown below. Click OK when finished to save the
configuration.

Once the router is configured, the user can now finish setting up the camera. In the supplied CD, the following
programs are available:
To start configuring the Xpy530 camera, connect the network cable to the camera and to a LAN port on the
router. Then, connect the AC adapter to the camera and to a wall outlet. When done, use the HMSearch_en
program on the PC to detect the camera.
• HMSearch_en (program used for camera settings)
•IPCmonitor_en_v1.0.1.9 (PC application for monitoring
cameras).

With the HMSearch_en enabled, press Search. The factory IP address 192.168.0.126 and the port 80 will be
displayed on the screen.
For purposes of this example, only the port will be changed to 1025, while the factory IP will be left as is, in this
case 192.168.0.126.

Once done, under the Authentication option, enter the default user name (Viewing account) and password
(Viewing password), which is admin in both cases, and press Update. A confirmation box will appear prompting
to confirm the changes on the computer. Press Yes. A message screen will be displayed notifying that the
changes have been made successfully. Click Accept at the end.
The camera inside the LAN can now be accessed using the HMSearch_en program by clicking the Browse
option.
Once the camera is accessed via the web, the following screen will display the fields to enter the username and
password: admin. Press Accept to continue.
Click on Video view to see the live feed from the IP camera.
The camera can also be accessed from the web browser by entering the IP, plus the port, directly using the
following format IP: Port (192.168.0.126:1025).

NOTE: During the initial setup, install the ActiveX control when prompted and ensure to allow permission on the
web browser. It is recommended to use Internet Explorer to take full advantage of all parameters and features of
the camera. If using a mobile device, click on the Mobile view option.
Viewing the IP camera(s) remotely using the DDNS function:

Each camera has a unique DDNS address on the label. In this example, we are using: 005kfdg.nwsvr1.com.
Enter the DDNS address into the address field of your browser.
Enter the user name and password, admin, followed by Login.
Click on Video view to see the live feed from the IP camera.
