The following is a selection of examples illustrating
typical hearing aid functionality - refer to the specific
hearing aid User Guide for a more comprehensive
and precise list of instructions, specific notices and
warnings relating to your hearing aid.
All digital hearing aids are di erent, some have volume controls
and buttons, others do not. Your NHS Provider will inform you about
the controls on your specific hearing aid(s).

Changing the battery
1. Open the battery compartment.
2. Remove sticker from new battery,
place battery in drawer with + symbol
on battery + side up. (You should only
remove the sticker when you actually
use the battery).

Volume control & program change
Manual control can be fitted on some aids.
Can I use the
manual volume control? Yes No
To adjust the volume:
• Press up to increase the volume.
• Press down to decrease the volume.
Program change

To change the program using the rocker switch:
• Press up/down to change program

Cleaning your hearing aid
Your NHS Provider will give you a full explanation of
how to clean your hearing aid, however, you may use a
soft dry cloth to wipe over the hearing aid and ear piece.
Please refer to your User Guide for full cleaning instructions.
Your NHS Provider will complete the details:
1. Everyday listening = You will hear 1 beep Active Inactive
2. ............................ = You will hear 2 beeps Active Inactive
3. ............................ = You will hear 3 beeps Active Inactive
4. ............................ = You will hear 4 beeps Active Inactive
5. ............................ = You will hear 5 beeps Active Inactive
6. ............................ = You will hear 6 beeps Active Inactive
