SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR INTRINSIC SAFETY
yFor personal safety, always con rm the rating of any known hazardous or
potentially hazardous location where the light is to be used.
BATTERY INSTALLATION
WARNING: In order to maintain the XPP-5462’s Intrinsically Safe rating, the
only AA batteries certi ed for use with this light are the ENERGIZER E91 or
EN91 BATTERIES.
yDo not attempt to use any other brand or model of AA batteries with this light.
yDo not attempt to use any type of rechargeable AA batteries with this light.
Warning: To prevent ignition of a hazardous atmosphere, do not open the
battery compartment door in the hazardous environment. This task must
ONLY be done in an area known to be non-hazardous.
yLoosen the locking screw located on the back of the battery compartment door.
NOTE: Do NOT attempt to completely remove the locking screw. Doing so is not
necessary and may damage the threads. The screw simply needs to be loosened
enough to allow the battery compartment door to open.
yUsing 3 – AA ENERGIZER E91 or EN91 BATTERIES (make sure that all 3
batteries are of the same model), install the batteries in the back of the light
paying close attention to the markings inside the battery compartment for proper
battery terminal polarity alignment.
yClose the battery compartment door.
yTighten locking screw. CAUTION: Do NOT over-tighten. Doing so may damage
the threads and impact the light’s Intrinsic Safety.
OPERATION
Two switches on the front of the headlamp control all functions.
SPOTLIGHT SWITCH
yFirst Press = spotlight high-brightness
ySecond Press = spotlight low-brightness
yThird Press = off
FLOODLIGHT SWITCH
yFirst Press =  oodlight high-brightness
ySecond Press =  oodlight low-brightness
yThird Press = off
DUAL-LIGHT MODE
yPress each switch one time to turn on both lights in high-brightness mode.
yTo shut down Dual-Light mode, press each switch two more times until each
light turns off.
WARRANTY
LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY
Bayco Products, Inc. warrants this product to be free from defects in workmanship
and materials for the original purchaser’s lifetime. The Limited Lifetime Warranty
includes the LEDs, housing and lenses. Rechargeable batteries, chargers, switches,
electronics and included accessories are warranted for a period of two years with
proof of purchase. Normal wear and failures which are caused by accidents, misuse,
abuse, faulty installation and lightning damage are excluded.
We will repair or replace this product should we determine it to be defective.
This is the only warranty, expressed or implied, including any warranty of
merchantability or  tness for a particular purpose.

INSTALLATION DES PILES
AVERTISSEMENT : An de maintenir le bon fonctionnement de votre lampe
frontale XPP-5462 à sécurité intrinsèque, les seules piles AA certiées pour
l’utilisation de cette lampe sont les piles ENERGIZER E91 or EN91.
yNE PAS utiliser d’autres marques ou modèles de piles AA avec cette lampe.
yNE PAS utiliser n’importe quel type de piles rechargeable AA avec cette lampe.
Avertissement : Pour éviter l’inammation d’atmosphère dangereuse, ne pas
ouvrir le compartiment de pile dans un endroit dangereux. Cette tâche doit
être effectuée UNIQUEMENT dans une zone non dangereuse.
yDesserrer la vis de verrouillage située à l’arrière de la porte du compartiment
de pile. À NOTER : NE PAS enlever complètement la vis de verrouillage. Cette
opération n’est pas nécessaire et risquerait d’endommager les lets de la vis. La
vis doit être simplement desserrée pour permettre à la porte du compartiment
de pile de s’ouvrir.
yEn utilisant 3 piles – AA- ENERGIZER E91 ou EN91, installer les piles dans la
lampe en portant une attention particulière à la polarité sur le compartiment de
pile an de respecter l’alignement des bornes de polarité des piles.
yFermer la porte du compartiment de pile.
yNE PAS trop serrer. MISE EN GARDE : Si vous serrez trop vous risquez
d’endommager les lets et affecter la sécurité intrinsèque de la lampe.
FONCTIONNEMENT
Deux interrupteurs à l’avant de la lampe frontale contrôlent toutes les fonctions.
BOUTON INTERRUPTEUR À FAISCEAU DIRECT
yAppuyer une fois : faisceau direct à haute luminosité
yAppuyer deux fois : faisceau direct à basse luminosité
yAppuyer trois fois : éteindre la lumière
BOUTON INTERUPTEUR À FAISCEAU LARGE
yAppuyer une fois : faisceau large à haute luminosité
yAppuyer deux fois : faisceau large à basse luminosité
yAppuyer trois fois : éteindre la lumière
MODE D’ÉCLAIRAGE DOUBLE
yAppuyer une seule fois sur chaque interrupteur pour allumer les deux
éclairages dans le mode haute luminosité.
yPour éteindre le mode d’éclairage double, appuyer deux autre fois sur chaque
interrupteur jusqu’à ce que chaque éclairage s’éteigne.

SPEZIELLE ANLEITUNG ZUR EIGENSICHERHEIT
yFür Ihre persönliche Sicherheit überprüfen Sie stets die Einstufung jedes
bekanntlicherweise gefährlichen oder möglicherweise gefährlichen Standortes,
an dem die Taschenlampe verwended werden soll.
BATTERIE INSTALLATION
WARNHINWEIS: Um die Eigensicherheits-Einstufung der XPP-5462
Stirnlampe zu bewahren, sind nur die zum Gebrauch zertizierten AA
Batterien Batterien ENERGIZER E91 or EN91 zu verwenden.
yVerwenden Sie keine anderen Marken oder Modelle der AA Batterien mit
dieser Lampe.
yVerwenden Sie keine wiederauadbaren Batterien mit mit dieser Lampe.
Warnhinweis: Vermeiden Sie das Öffnen des Lampenglases innerhalb
eines explosions-gefährdeten Umfeldes, um eine Entammung in der
gefährlichen Atmosphäre zu verhindern. Diese Maßnahme darf nur in
einem Umfeld vorgenommen werden, das bekannterweise ungefährlich ist.
yLockern Sie die Schraubensicherung an der Rückseite des Batteriefachdeckels.
ANMERKUNG: Vermeiden Sie es die Schraubensicherung völlig zu beseitigen.
Das vollständige Entfernen ist nicht notwendig und kann das Gewinde
beschädigen. Die Schraube muss lediglich soweit gelockert werden, um das
Öffnen des Batteriefachdeckels zu ermöglichen.
yVerwendung von 3 – AA ENERGIZER E91 oder EN91 Batterien (stellen Sie
sicher, dass alle drei Batterien von der gleichen Art sind), installieren Sie die
Batterien am Ende der Lampe und achten Sie dabei genau auf die Markierungen
innerhalb des Batteriefaches für die korrekte Batteriepolanpassung.
ySchliessen Sie das Batteriefach
yZiehen sie die Schraubensicherung fest an. VORSICHT: ziehen Sie sie nicht zu
fest an. Auf diese Weise kann das Gewinde beschädigt und die Eigensicherheit
der Lampe beeinträchtigt werden.
INBETRIEBSETZUNG
Zwei Schalter an der Vorderseite des Scheinwerfers steuern alle Funktionen.
SPOTLICHT-SCHALTER
yErstes Drücken = Spotlicht mit hoher Helligkeit
yZweites Drücken = Spotlicht mit niedriger Helligkeit
yDrittes Drücken = aus
FLUTLICHT-SCHALTER
yErstes Drücken = Flutlicht mit hoher Helligkeit
yZweites Drücken = Flutlicht mit niedriger Helligkeit
yDrittes Drücken = aus
DUALER LICHT MODUS
yDrücken Sie jeden Schalter einmal, um beide Lichter im hohen Helligkeits-
Modus einzuschalten.
yUm den Dualen Licht Modus auszuschalten, drücken Sie jeden Schalter zwei
weitere Male bis jedes Licht ausgeschaltet ist.

Ladegeräte, Schalter, Elektronik und enthaltene Zubehör haben eine Garantie von
2 Jahren mit Kaufbeleg.
Normaler Verschleiß und Fehlfunktionen, die durch Unfälle, Zweckentfremdung,
Missbrauch, fehlerhafte Installation und Blitzschäden verursacht wurden sind
hiervon ausgeschlossen. Wir reparieren oder ersetzen das Produkt sofern ein
Defekt festgestellt wird. Dies ist die einzige Gewährleistung, inklusive jeglicher
Gewährleistung der allgemeinen Gebrauchstauglichkeit und Eignung für den
bestimmten Zweck dieses Produktes.
