THOROUGHLYPRIOR TOOPERATINGOR
SERVICINGTHISMACHINE.
GENERALUSE
1. Removeany obstructionsorother
obstaclesin thearea which istobe
cleaned.
2. Placethehandleintheuprightposition
andtiltmachinebackuntilhandlerests
onthefloor
*Besurethemachineisnotplugged into
anoutlet
3. Attach thepaddriverorbrushtothe
machinebyplacingtheclutch plateover
thegearboxhub andturningthedriver
/brush turn.
4. Placemachinebackintoitsupright
position.
5. Plug powercordintoagroundedoutlet.
* Neveruseanextensioncordin
conjunctionwiththestandardpowercord.
6. Thehandleheightmaybeadjustedby
liftingupthecompressionhandlewhich
islocatedontherightsideofthehandle
tubeabout1footabovefloorlevel.
Releasethecompressionhandleand
adjusthandletosafeoperatingheight,
thenpushbackdownonthe
compressionhandletolockthehandlein
operatingposition.
7. Tostart themachine, press thered
safetybuttononthetopoftheupper
switch housing, andthensqueezeeither
oftheoperatingtriggers. (thesafety
buttonmustbedepressedpriorto
squeezingtheoperatingtriggers.)
8. Whenthemachineisinoperation, both
handsshould beplacedontheswitch
housing(upperhandle).
9. Duringoperation, tomakethemachine
goright, gentlyraisethehandle. To
makethemachinegoleft, gentlylower
thehandle.
10. Tostopthemachineatany time,
simplyreleasetheoperatingtrigger(s)
andthemachinewill stopautomatically.
MAINTENANCE
Tokeepthemachineperformingwell for
many years, pleasefollowthefollowing
maintenanceprocedures.
*Alwaysconfirm thatthemachineis
unpluggedpriortoperformingany
maintenanceorrepairs.
1. Unplug machineassoonasyouare
doneusingit.
2. Tiltmachinebackandremovepaddriver
orbrush.
*Neverstorealowspeed machinewith
thepaddriverorbrushmounted tothe
machine.
3. Cleantheoutsideofthemachinewitha
mild cleaner.
4. Checkpowercordforany damage. If
damageisdetected, replacepowercord
immediately.
5. Lubricatewheelswithawaterresistant
lubricantonceamonth.
6. Checkmachineforlooseormissingnuts
andbolts, andreplaceasnecessary.
7. Ifthemachineisusedinadusty
environment, youmayremovethemotor
coverandblowthemotorcleanwith
compressedair. Thiswill ensureproper
ventilation, andallowthemotortorun
cooler.
STORAGE
1. Unplug machinefrom powersourceand
wrapcordonhandle.
2. Tiltmachinebackandremovepaddriver
orbrush.
3. Storemachinein uprightpositionandin
adryarea.
