Introduction
Please take a few moments to carefully read through
this manual. Correct maintenance and operation
of this machine will provide the best possible
performance from your Nisbets Essentials product.
This cooler is designed for drink chilling and
storage and is not recommended for the storing of
foodstuffs.

Installation
Location: Not for use in vans or trailers, food
trucks or similar vehicles.
Note: If the unit has not been stored or moved
in an upright position, let it stand upright for
approximately 12 hours before operation. If in
doubt allow to stand.
1. Remove the appliance from the packaging and
the protective film from all surfaces.
2. Avoid positioning the cooler in direct sunlight or
damp areas.
3. To optimize performance and longevity, ensure
a minimum clearance of 2.5cm is maintained
between the unit and walls and other objects,
with a minimum 20cm clearance on the top.
NEVER LOCATE NEXT TO A HEAT SOURCE.
4. If necessary, adjust the screw legs of the cooler
to make it level.
Note: Before using the appliance for the first
time, clean the shelves and interior with soapy
water.
Reverse the Door
Before action, ensure to disconnect the appliance
from the power supply.
The door is opened from left side originally.
1. Remove the hinge cover and the upper hinge
from the right top (Fig. 1A). Then remove the
door.
2. Remove the screw covers from the left top and
install on the right top (Fig. 1B).

3. Remove the screw cover from the left top of the
door and install on the right top (Fig. 2).

4. Remove the lower hinge from the right bottom
and install on the left bottom (Fig. 3).

5. Install the door onto the lower hinge. Then install
the upper hinge on the left top. Note: Before
tightening the screws, ensure the top of the
door is level with the top of the cabinet and the
rubber gasket makes a good seal. Finally install
the hinge cover.
6. Now the door is opened from right.
Operation
Thermostat
Located at the rear of the
cabinet, the thermostat is
graded from MIN (9°C) to
MED (5°C) to MAX (1°C).
Note: For best results and optimum efficiency, we
recommend setting the controller to MED.
Note: Setting the thermostat to ‘O’ turns off the
compressor.
Turn on
1. Close the door of the appliance.
2. Connect the appliance to a mains power supply.
3. Turn the light switch On (I) or Off (O) as desired.

Tips for use:
• Avoid opening the door too often. Opening the
door for long periods can cause a significant
increase of the temperature in the appliance.
• If the gasket or door seal is damaged or
deformed, energy consumption will increase. To
restore efficiency, replace in time.
• If the appliance is left empty for long periods,
switch it off. Then defrost and clean it thoroughly.
Let it dry well and leave the door open to prevent
mould developing within the appliance.
• Clean regularly surfaces that can come in contact
with food and accessible drainage system.
• Condensation will form in refrigeration with
frequent opening of the doors and on hot humid
days, please ensure condensation is allowed to
drain properly or is wiped dry.
Cleaning, Care &
Maintenance
• Switch off and disconnect from the power supply
before cleaning.
• Clean the interior of the appliance as often as
possible.
• Do not use abrasive cleaning agents. These can
leave harmful residues.
• Clean the door seal with water only.
• Always wipe dry after cleaning.
• If left unused for any length of time, store the
appliance with the door ajar.
Auto Defrost
Periodically the appliance will run an automatic
defrost cycle to prevent any ice build-up.
Note: In case of Ice built-up (3-5mm thick), set the
thermostat to “O” and leave the door open. Then
manually defrost the appliance. Never use sharp
objects for scraping.
Troubleshooting
A qualified technician must carry out repairs if required.
