Disposal of Old Electrical & Electronic Equipment

separate collection systems)
This symbol on the product or on its packaging indicates that this product shall not be
treated as household waste.
Instead it shall be handed over to the applicable collection point for the recycling of
electrical and electronic equipment.
By ensuring this product is disposed of correctly, you will help prevent potential negative
consequences for the environment and human health, which could otherwise be caused
by inappropriate waste handling of this product.
The recycling of materials will help to conserve natural resources.
Installation2
Step 1. Unplug from the utility all electrical equipment containing the
batteries that needs to be changed.
Step 2. Remove the cover and identify the battery terminal that needs
replacement.
Step 3. Disconnect the wiring from the battery terminal that needs
replacement.
Step 4. Replace the old battery with a new one.
Step 5. Reconnect the wiring making sure that the polarity is respected.
It is critical to match the connectors because a single error can
bring irreparable damage to your equipment.
Step 6. Put the cover back on before plugging the equipment to the
utility.
NOTE: The recommended period when recharging new batteries is 6-8
hours.
You are the sole responsible for connecting the wiring
between the batteries and the piece of equipment. If the
polarity is incorrect the equipment can be damaged
beyond repair.
