WARNINGS and REMINDERS
Thank you for choosng and purchasng our Nokta RS Pnponter.
Nokta RS Pnponter s a hand-held metal detector desgned to pnpont targets
detected by conventonal metal detectors.
Do not expose the devce to very hot (for example, nsde a hot car) or cold condtons
for extended perods of tme.
RS Pnponter s not a dggng tool. Do not use t for dggng or extractng stones or
metals.
Only the end of the probe s waterproof. Do not mmerse the control box n water; do
not expose the devce to extreme humd condtons.
Do not use the devce to locate power lnes. Usng the devce near power lnes may
cause harm to the devce.
Always keep the devce o when not n use. Ths wll help ncrease battery lfe and
devce performance.
Sudden changes n ambent temperature can drastcally aect the performance of
the devce. Therefore, t s recommended not to use the devce mmedately after sudden
temperature changes but to wat for approxmately 10 mnutes.
Audo alert consumes less battery power than vbraton alert. Usng the audo alert
when possble wll extend battery lfe.
For Consumers within the European Union: Do not dispose of this equipment in general
household waste. The crossed wheeled bin symbol on this equipment indicates this unit should
not be disposed of in general household waste, but recycled in compliance with local
government regulations and environmental requirements.

FCC STATEMENT: This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC
Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) this
device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device
must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.

Turning On the Device: Before turnng on the devce, hold the devce away from
metallc objects ncludng your watch and jewelry.
Low Battery Life Alert: When the battery s low, the devce wll sound 3 beeps at start
up and wll contnue workng untl the battery des.
Turn on the devce by sldng the swtch to ether audo or
vbraton alert. The LED ashlght wll blnk once and a sngle
beep wll sound.
Audio or Vibration Alert: When the devce detects metal, t
wll produce an audo or vbraton alert accordng to your
mode selecton. The rate of the pulsng audo or vbratons wll
ncrease as the devce gets closer to the metallc object and t
wll decrease as the devce s moved away.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Battery: To open the battery compartment, place your thumb on the recess, press
down and slde forward. Insert the suppled 9V battery payng attenton to the plus (+)
and mnus (-) poles. If the battery s nserted n the wrong drecton, the battery cover wll
not close.
360° Detection: RS Pnponter's detecton area s from the end of the probe to the
begnnng of the hand-held part and t oers 360° detecton. Ths allows you to easly
locate metals n a hole. It also enables you to quckly scan a larger area by holdng the RS
Pnponter on ts sde, at aganst any surface and fnd your target.
LED Flashlight: LED ashlght wll lght up automatcally n the dark. Except n very
brght envronments, you can also actvate the LED ashlght by coverng the lght
sensor on the devce wth your fnger.
Turning O the Device: Turn o the devce by sldng the swtch to the o poston n
the mddle. Always keep the devce o when not n use.
Belt Clip Case: When you are not usng the RS Pnponter, you can put t n ts case and
attach t to your belt or wastband so that you can carry t around securely.

LIMITED WARRANTY: Nokta Engneerng warrants to the end-user customer that ths
product wll be free from defects n materal and workmanshp for a perod of 2 years from
the date of purchase (excludng the battery & case). Nokta Engneerng's lmted warranty
covers only those defects that arse as a result of normal use of the product n accordance
wth Nokta Engneerng's prnted nstructons and does not cover any other problems,
ncludng those that arse as a result of accdent, msuse, neglgent act or mproper
mantenance. The customer must return any defectve devce to Nokta Engneerng or to
one of ts authorzed dealers wth freght prepad. If Nokta Engneerng receves, durng the
applcable warranty perod, notce of a defect whch s covered by Nokta Engneerng's
warranty, Nokta Engneerng shall ether repar or replace the product, at ts sole dscreton.
