PRE-INSTALLATION:
INSTALLATION:
1) Choose an installation location where direct sunlight can be absorbed onto the face of the solar
panel for as many hours as possible throughout the day. Shadows cast by homes, trees and structures
will restrict the charging of the batteries and aect the total hours of operation of the lights.
2) During daylight hours, the sun will charge the batteries in the solar panel and the lights will turn on
at the dusk. Light output depends on how much light the solar panel receives. Position the solar panel
so that it receives maximum sunlight. If there are streetlights or other lighting that could shine directly
into or near the solar panels, these lights may trigger the light sensor and the lights may turn o.
The solar panel must sense darkness to operate
1) Assembling the solar light
NOTE: To allow each battery to reach full capacity and perform correctly, pull out the plastic tab and place the solar light in full sunlight
for the first 12 hours. Failure to do so can shorten the life of the battery or operation of the light. On cloudy or rainy days it may take
several days for the batteries to fully charge.
·Take out the wall light's package content
·Drill two holes and mount the anchors (C).
·Drill screws (B) into the anchors (C), leaving at least 5 mm of the screws (B) sticking out from the surface to hold the lamp unit.
·Mount the solar light (A) on the screws (B).

2) Preparing the solar panels
·Twist the white ball counterclockwise to unscrew.
·Take down the white ball.
·Turn on the switch at the back part of solar panel.

Troubleshooting
Warranty Caution
This Noma®product carries a one (1) year warranty against defects in workmanship and materials. Noma
Canada agrees to replace a defective product, within the stated warranty period, when returned to the place
of purchase with proof of purchase. This product is not guaranteed against wear or breakage due to misuse
and/or abuse.

For outdoor use
Retain carton for storage purposes
1) Do not dispose of batteries in fire.
2) Insert the battery with correct polarity.
3) Only use nickel-metal hydride (NI-MH) rechargeable batteries with these solar lights. Do not mix battery types.
4) Rechargeable batteries contain nickel-metal hydride and must be recycled or disposed of properly. Do not mix old
and new batteries. Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable batteries. Do not dispose of batteries
in fire. Batteries may explode or leak. The battery cannot be ingested.
CARE AND CLEANING
1) It is recommended that solar lights not be used in freezing conditions. Monitor weather and take solar items indoor
for storage as needed. Keep snow or other buildup o the solar panel so that the batteries are able to recharge.
2) Remove batteries from equipments that will not be used for an extended period of time.
MAINTENANCE-REPLACING THE BATTERY
1) Twist the white ball and take down the light head.
2) Remove the screws and open the battery cover.
3) Remove the old battery and clean the battery contacts on the new battery and the solar light.
4) Replace with new AAA 1.2v 800MAH NI-MH rechargeable battery.
5) Replace battery cover and tighten the screws.
If the lights do not work:
1) Check to ensure there are no obstructions over the top of the solar panel
2) Ensure the battery is installed correctly and there is nothing blocking the battery terminals from making contact.
3) Check to ensure the solar panel is positioned to sense both daylight and night time. If bright lights shines near or
into the solar panel, these lights may trigger the lights sensor and the lights may turn o. Bright lights can act like
daylight and keep the system from starting.
4) Batteries may need to be changed and vary by use, temperature, weather conditions and heat. Replace the
batteries with the exact same type of the rechargeable batteries,
5) Ensure the batteries are fully charged. It is important to charge the battery for 12 hours in full sun before usage.
Cloudy or rainy days may require a longer charging time.
6) In some cases, you may have to open the battery compartment and "seat" the batteries correctly between metal
clips as some dislodging may occur during the shipment. Also ensure the correct polarity.
