3. Recommendations for Installation
3.1 - General Notes
Although the construct on and operat on of every cupboard s controlled on the factory floor, th s does not nval date the poss b l ty
that damage may be caused dur ng transportat on. Thus upon recept on we adv se that the general cond t on of the cab nets
should be ver f ed.
3.2 - Placement
• Remove the packag ng or pallet w th care so as not to
damage the surfaces of the equ pment.
• It s adv sable to place the cupboard away from any
poss ble heat sources (l ke heaters) and of the sunl ght.
• Do not cover or obstruct the cab net top - must be guarantee
free space to th s area, assur ng a good a r c rculat on.
• In order to ensure a proper operat on of the cab net, t should
always be on the level. Small d fferences n level can be
compensated by regulat ng the feet.
• For models wh ch do not conta n automat c condensat on
water evaporat on systems, a tray must be put n the lower part
of the cab nets, and should be empt ed out on a regular bas s.
3.3 - Installation
Installat on should be carr ed out w th the follow ng standards always be ng borne n m nd:
• Regulat ons referr ng to the construct on of the bu ld ngs and f re-precaut ons.
• Regulat ons n force concern ng acc dent prevent on.
• European Un on Standards wh ch may be n force.
• The cab net s suppl ed w th a plug n accordance w th current standards of pract ce and w th an electr c ty supply power cable
accord ng to the regulat ons w th a length wh ch s suff c ent to allow connect on to the electr c ty current.
• The electr cal socket should be eas ly access ble and organ sed so that max mum consumpt on s ava lable (see data from the
Table of Techn cal Terms). The socket should be EARTHEN.
• Never use plugs or sockets w thout earth, nor use adapters or extens on w res.
• For d rect connect ons to the network, a fuse sw tch should always be nstalled n accordance w th nternat onal regulat ons.
3.4 - Substitution of the Electricity Supply Cable
• Pull the power cord of the plug.
• Unscrew the control panel above the door. The cable s connected to the ON/OFF sw tch or to the control board
ns de a box ( t’s necessary to unscrew the cover) – depends on the model.
• Loosen the f x-sw tch for the cable.
• Take out the conductors loosen ng the term nals and subst tute the cable w th another wh ch at least has the character st cs of
the next Techn cal Data Board, pay ng attent on to the fact that the earth w re s longer than the phase and neutral w res.

• Ensure that the supply cable s not subject to tract on and that t does not conta n co ls or knots wh ch could create heat.

4. Recommendations for the User
Refr gerated cab nets were conce ved n order to conserve food dur ng short per ods of t me and for food products n general.
In order to ensure that the mach ne s operat ng properly t s necessary to follow the follow ng nstruct ons:
• Ch ldren should be superv sed to ensure that they do not play w th the dev ce.
• Avo d as much as poss ble the open ng of doors;
• When plac ng foods, ensure that there s good natural a r c rculat on ns de the cupboard – t’s necessary to
guarantee that they are lower that the symbol ---
