1. Removefrontcover

(1) Disconnectelectricalpowertounit

(2) Turnoffgasandwater

(3) Remove4screws




2. RemoveGFCI

(1) RemovetwoscrewsthatholdtheGFCI
Plate,onescrewwillhaveaground
wireattached),LetGFCIhangoutside
oftheunit




3. Removegasvalveassembly

(1) Locate“C”clamponthebottomright
handcorneroftheunitthatattaches
thegasconnectiontothemanifold
plateandremove.






(2) Locateinletgaspipetomanifoldand
pushup.Thenlocatethelargewiring
connection,thatattachesthewires
fromthemanifoldplatetothewiring
harness,anddisconnecttheplug.

(3) Nextlocatethefourbigsilverscrews
holdingthemanifoldplatetothe
burner,therewillbetwoontheright
andleftsideofthemanifoldplate.
Removethosefourscrewsandthe
manifoldplateandpipecanbe
removedandsetaside.

(4) Unplugthewireforthefan











4. Removethefanfromhousing

(1) Remove3screwsthatareontheouter
edgethatjustgothroughthesingle
metalplate

(2) Pulloutfanmotor,thebladewillbe
attachedtothemotor


5. CleaningFan

(1) Thefanmaybemetalorplastic
dependingonwhichunityouare
workingon

(2) Cleanthefanwithcompressedair

(3) Ifthefanrequiresmorecleaningand
youhavetousewaterordegreaser
thenremovethefanbladefromthe
motorbyremovingnutinthemiddle
ofthefan.(Ifyoudon’tdothisyou
maydamagethefanmotor)

(4) Makesurethefanbladeiscompletely
drybeforereinstallingthebladeback
onthemotor


6. ReplacingtheFanMotorandBlade

(1) Ifthenewfancamewiththehousing,
removethefanmotorandbladefrom
thehousingandjustreplacethemotor
andblade.


7. ReassembletheFanintounit

(1) Ifbladewasremovedfromthefan
motor,tightennutsnuggly.DoNot
OverTighten!!

(2) Followsteps1‐4inreverseorderto
reassemblefanandunit.








