durability. Every unit is inspected and tested before s ipping.
T is manual guide explains ow to install, use and maintain t e purc ased product properly to reac
optimal performance.
Re ommendations
Upon receiving a product from Novameta, inspect immediately for any visible signs of s ipping damage
and notify t e carrier immediately. W en removing t e unit from its packing case, be careful not to dent
or scratc outer surface.
Any concealed damage s ould be noted and reported immediately to t e freig t carrier. A claim s ould be
filed wit carrier if appropriate.
Novameta cannot and will not accept responsibility for any s ipping damage. All t e products are
t oroug ly inspected before leaving our factory.

1.2. Instru tion for use
To ensure t at you get optimum use of your purc ased product, please read t ese instructions carefully
before putting it to use. Save t ese instructions for future reference.
1.3. Re eiving equipment
C eck t e packaging and cabinet for s ipping damage before and after unloading t e unit, and after
removing all t e packaging.
T e receiver of t is product is responsible for filing freig t damage claims. T is equipment must be
opened immediately for inspection. All visible damage must be reported to t e freig t company and must
be noted on freig t bill at t e time of delivery
1.4. Warranty
T e producer gives 1 year warranty for t e eated cupboard and undertakes to replace all inferior goods
to proper quality goods. However, t e producer does not take any responsibility for t e damage t at
occurs because of ignorance of cautions, improper maintenance or mec anical damages of t e product.
T is warranty is not effective if damage occurs from improper installation, misuse; incorrect voltage
supply, wear and tear from normal usage, accidental breakage, damage or t e equipment is operated
contrary to t e user instructions. Any expenses in connection wit t e installation or cost of making
adjustments on t e equipment to comply wit t e supply at t e point of installation are not covered by
t is warranty.
T e claim about divergences from t e quality, sort or quantity t at arises due to producer‘s fault must be
indicted upon acceptance of goods. T e producer does not undertake any responsibility for s ipping
damages. Any claims about damages t at occurred during transportation s ould be reported to t e freig t
carrier.

2. Safety regulations
2.1. Operating
T is unit is not intended for use by persons wit reduced p ysical, sensory, or mental capabilities except
t e case, w en t ey are instructed about safe operating before. Ensure proper supervision of c ildren and
keep t em away from unit. Make sure all operators are instructed on safe and proper use of unit. Do not
operate unattended.
Monitor temperatures closely for safety.
ELECTRIC SHOCK, FIRE OR BURN INJURIES CAN OCCUR IF THIS EQUIPMENT IS NOT USED PROPERLY.
TO REDUCE RISK OF INJURY:
•Have the unit installed by qualified servi e personnel;
•Plug only into grounded ele tri al outlets mat hing the required voltage;
•Unplug the unit before leaning or moving.
2.2. Servi e
To avoid serious injury or damage, never attempt to repair t e eated cupboard or replace a damaged
power cord yourself. Contact a qualified professional repair service.
Always dis onne t the heated upboard before servi ing or repla ing any ele tri al
omponent.
If eating fails, first look to see w et er t e eated cupboard as been unintentionally switc ed off, or
w et er a fuse as blown. If t e failure cannot be found, contact your supplier quoting Model and Serial
No. of t e eated cupboard. T is information can be found on t e nameplate.
If eating fails, c eck and (if needed) replace t e eating element. To do so follow t e described steps:
Unscrew t e six bolts as s owed in Fig. 1 (t ree bolts on t e outer side of t e cooling cupboard and t ree
more on t e inner side of t e cupboard).
Remove t e side of t e cupboard toget er wit t e eating element inside. Afterwards disassemble t e
removed side wall by unscrewing t e olding bolts and nuts, t en simply remove t e eating element and
c ange it wit t e new one. For more information consult t e manufacturer wit specifying t e serial
number of t e product of matter.

3. Installation
3.1. General requirements
T is unit must be installed by qualified, trained installers. Installation must conform to all local electrical
codes. C eck wit local electrical inspectors.
Before starting to operate t e product, protective film must be taken off from every surface of and t e
inside must be cleaned wit a mild soap solution and c ecked t oroug ly before it is put into operation.
IMPORTANT!
In pla es where warning triangles and/or s rews are used to se ure overs around ele tri al parts, there
is a risk of severe injury if overs are removed. Therefore, overs must only be removed by a servi e
te hni ian.
3.2. Lo ation
T e eated cupboard s ould be located in a dry and adequately ventilated room.
If t e eated cupboard is fitted wit legs, t e legs must be adjusted to ensure t at it stands level and not
distorted in any way. If t e eated cupboard is fitted wit castors, it must stand on a flat floor. In time, an
uneven floor mig t distort t e eated cupboard to t e extent t at door operation becomes difficult. If t e
eated cupboard is to be fixed on a wall, make sure t at it stands level and undistorted.
Avoid placement of t e eated cupboard in a c lorine/acid-containing environment (swimming-bat etc.)
due to risk of corrosion.
Before starting to operate t e cupboard, protective film must be taken off from all t e surfaces of t e
eated cupboard and t e unit must be cleaned internally wit a mild soap solution and c ecked
t oroug ly before it is put into operation.
IMPORTANT!
Do not blo k vent holes inside the heated upboard.
Do not use ele tri al devi es, explosive or flammable materials inside the heated upboard.
To ensure correct and efficient air flow in t e cupboard, t ere must be an air gap left (see fig. 3) for best
air circulation between t e sides, top and back.
Do not blo k the ventilation holes inside the ooling upboard (fig. 4).

3.3. Ele tri al onne tion
All t e eated units are tested by producer to assure proper operation. Power must be connected via a
wall socket. T e wall socket s ould be easily accessible.
WARNING!
This heated upboard must be earthed. Conne ting the unit to the improper power sour e an ause
damage to the unit and invalidate the warranty.
All eart ing requirements stipulated by t e local electricity aut orities must be observed. T e eated
cupboard plugs and wall socket s ould t en give correct eart ing. If in doubt, contact your local supplier
or aut orized electrician.
T e eated cupboard is intended for connection to alternating current. T e connection values for voltage
(V) and frequency (Hz) are given on t e name plate.

4. Operation instru tions
T e eated cupboard is turned on by switc (1). T e lig t (2) being on indicates t at t e unit is in on
operation ( eating). It goes off w en t e set temperature inside t e eated cupboard is reac ed.
Temperature can be c osen using t e t ermal controller (3).

Depending on t e temperature set, t e temperature of plates c anges. T e temperatures reac ed depend
on t e ambient temperature, type, size and number of plates used (w en t e temperature of t e eated
cupboard is set to be 50°C, t e ceramic plates of 26 cm in diameter and weig t of 645 g eat up approx. to
42°C).
To have the temperature adjusted, the unit must be built in so that it would be easy to a ess the
ontrol panel.

5. Maintenan e and leaning
Always dis onne t the heated upboard and let it ompletely ool down before leaning.
Never flush the unit with water as this may ause short- ir uits in the ele tri al system.
Clean t e stainless steel by using a soft clot , soap and warm water. If it is not sufficient, try a non-
abrasive liquid stainless steel polis .
Cleansing agents ontaining hloride or ompounds of hlorine as well as other orrosive means,
may not be used, as they might ause orrosion to the stainless panels of the ounter.
To avoid damaging the finish, do not use abrasive materials, s rat hing leaners or s ouring pads.
Always rub along t e grain of stainless steel polis . W en t e cleaning is completed, insert t e drawer
back to t e assembly.
BEFORE CLEANING ALWAYS BE SURE THE UNIT IS TURNED OFF.

WARRANTY CERTIFICATE
This warranty ertifi ates that:

if t e product was used according all t e exploitation recommendations;
