STEP 3: CONNECTING YOUR TELEPHONE
This device pr ovides port s for up to two teleph ones. Both po rts use the sa me
telephone number.
1. Unplug your t elephone’s cord f rom your wall’s telep hone jack.
WARNING!Do not plug this device into your telephone wall jack.
2. Plug t he end of the teleph one cord that was j ust removed from t he wall jack
into one of th e two phone po rts on the bac k of the device. The o ther end of
the cord mus t remain plugg ed into the back of y our telephone’s b ase unit.
NOTE: The tele phone and te lephone cor d are sold sepa rately. Rotar y,p ulse dialin g, and Voice over
IP (VoIP) phone s are not supp orted.
IMP ORTA NT!
If the devic e is in active m ode and run ning on the ba ttery al one, only voic e calls are
supported.
If the Power b utton is p ressed and he ld, the devic e will enter ch arging mo de. When
in chargi ng mode, th e device scree n displays th e batter y charge ind icator ( ). To
resume no rmal opera tion, pres s the Power bu tton. To comple tely turn of f the device ,
disconn ect from AC pow er.

BEFORE YOU BEGIN
STEP 1: INSTALL THE BATTERY
1. Remove the b attery cove r on the undersid e of the device.
2. Plug in an d insert the ba ttery, keeping t he red cable to the ce nter of the device
and the meta l contacts fac ing up, then repla ce the batter y cover.
STEP 2: PLUG IN THE POWER CORD
1. Plug the po wer cord into the d evice power por t.
2. Plug the p ower adapter int o an AC wall outlet. T he device will power o n and
guide you th rough a welcome p rocess for conne cting via Wi-F i. Once complete ,
verify at le ast one bar of the v oice signal stren gth indicat or ( ) is lit. If no t,
move device to an a lternative loc ation that provi des a stronger sig nal.
WARNING!Be sure to use the power cord that came with your device to avoid damage that
may void the warranty.

ACCESSING ADVANCED SET TINGS
Once your 4G LTE Bro adband Router w ith Voice is connecte d to a device that
suppor ts web browsing , you can access th e administrat ive interface i n order to
customiz e advanced set tings, chan ge your password , and access infor mation.
1. Connec t to http://VerizonBRVvia th e web browser on an y compatible
connected device.
2. Sign in usi ng your Web Inter face Admin Passwor d found under Wi -Fi Name/
Password on the devi ce screen.
3. Click Customize my Wi-Fi Settings t o change the Wi-F i Password.
4. Click Change my Ad min Password to ch ange the Admin Pas sword.
NOTE: You must be con nected to t he 4G LTE Broadba nd Router wi th Voice to access th is web page.
CONNECTING TO THE INTERNET VIA WI- FI
1. With the 4 G LTEB roadband Rout er with Voice powered on , open the Wi-Fi
application o r controls on th e computer or W i-Fi capable devic e that you want
to connec t and find the Wi -Fi network (SSI D), for example Verizon -4GLTE-
BRV-XXXX. Click Connec t.
2. When pr ompted, enter y our Wi-Fi Passwo rd, found und er Menu > Wi-Fi Na me/
Password. Your Wi-Fi capa ble device is now conn ected to the In ternet.
NOTE: For info rmation on c onnecti ng devices wi th WPS, see t he User Guide a vailable onli ne at
verizonwireless.com/support.
MONITORING DATAUSAGE
Youc an view curren t data usage detail s on your 4G LTE Broadba nd Router with
Voice by selecting V iew Usage from the b ottom of the Ho me Screen. You can
also view your d ata usage and man age your plan selec tion via your My Veri zon
account.
NOTE: Data plan subscription required.
RESTORING FACTORY SETTINGS
Tore store factor y setting s, follow these ste ps:
1. Verify tha t your 4G LTE Broadban d Router with Voice is powe red on. Find th e
master RES ET opening on th e battery cov er on the botto m of the device.
2. Place one e nd of an unfolded p aper clip into the m aster RESET op ening and
press down fo r approximatel y five seconds un til the device res ets.
NOTE: When pe rformi ng the facto ry reset , all previous s ettings w ill be lost.
SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS FOR WI-FI CONNECTIVITY
Toconnect wirelessly to your 4G LTE Broadband Router with Voice,devices
such as laptops and tablets must be Wi-Fi capable.
• Compatible w ith all major oper ating systems .
• Works with t he latest versio ns of browsers, i ncluding Andr oid™, Chrome™,
Firefox®,Internet Explorer®, Safari™ and Mobile Safari™.
PASSWORDS
Yourdefault Wi-Fi Network Name (SSID) and Wi-Fi Password will appear on
the 4G LTEBroadband Router with Voice display upon initial power up. You can
also access your Wi-Fi Name and Wi-Fi Passwordusing the following steps:
1. Power on you r 4G LTEB roadband Rou ter with Voice.
2. On the dev ice screen, sele ct Menu and ope n the Wi-FiName and Password
option.
3. Select Op en to display the Wi-Fi Name/Password.
Toaccess your Admin Password for the 4G LTE Broadband Router with Voice
Web Interface:
1. Select Menu and select the About option.
2. Select Open > More > More to display the Web Interface Admin Password.
NOTE: Your defaul t Wi-Fi and Web In terface Ad min Passwor d are the sam e. Toch ange the Wi- Fi
Password, follow the instructions in ACCESSING ADVANCEDSETTINGS.

INSTALLING THE OPTIONAL ANTENNA

IMPORTANTINSTRUCTIONS! Read before installation.
If using the op tional antenn a, align the ant enna with the a ntenna port o n the
4G LTE Broadband R outer with Voice and at tach securel y into place.
Use the follow ing installation i nstructio ns to comply with FCC r ules on RF
exposure . Failure to follow these g uidelines can re sult in operatio ns that exceed
RF exposure limits.
• Maintain a min imum distance o f at least 20 cm (8 in) from all p ersons
regardless o f how the antenn a is mounted (stan d assembly or wall m ount).
• Connect t he antenna to th e modem using the s upplied cable onl y – do not use
a differen t cable. Use the f ull length of th e cable to position t he antenna as
far from the m odem and gener ally populated ar eas as possible.
• For wall moun t installations , position the ant enna as far off t he ground as
possible ensu ring at least 20 cm (8 in) f rom people.
• For stand asse mbly installati ons, maintain a mi nimum distanc e of 20 cm (8 in)
between t he antenna an d people at all times .
• Do not opera te the 4G LTE Broadban d Router with Voice and t he antenna in
close proximity to each other.
• Use only the a pproved ProBra nd 4G LTE Signal Boos ter Antenna
(PROB4G ANT) available th rough Verizon . Never use an anten na from anoth er
vendor or another source
CONNECTING INTERNET/NETWORK DEVICES
Youc an connect up t o three wired dev ices such as laptop s, printers an d gaming
consoles via Ethernet.
1. Plug the end o f an Ethernet c able* into one of th e three Ethern et ports.
2. Th e other end of the c able must remain p lugged into t he Ethernet po rt of the
device you wis h to connect.

Activating a New Number
Your device automa tically activa tes the new num ber after the d evice is powered
on, as long as n etwork covera ge is available. Make a ca ll to test servic e.

*611 to sign up f or service .
