1. Use the power cord, which is supplied or recommended by the supplier, or
it may cause fire.
2. Do not disassemble or reassemble the product.

3. Enquire to your vendor for repair.

4. Do not touch the product with wet hands.
It may cause malfunction or electric shock.
5. Product installation must be ensured to a professional for product installation, or
it may cause malfunction, electric shock or fire.
6. Ground applies to video products equipped with a 3-wire grounding type plug having a third (grounding) pin.
This plug only fits into a grounding-type power outlet.
If grounding is not done, it may cause malfunction or electric shock.
7. Ground connection must not touch gas pipe, water pipe or telephone line.
If grounding is not done properly, it may cause electric shock.
8. Prevent metallic foreign substance from going inside the product.

The internal fan rotates at high speed and may cause an accident.
2. Do not drop, give strong vibration, or shock to the product.
It may cause malfunction.
3. The air inhaler of the front panel and air outlet of the back panel must not be blocked during installation.
The internal temperature of the product would be greater than allowable and could cause malfunction or
fire.
4. Do not touch the product or the power cord when there is thunder.
It may cause electric shock.
5. Do not install the product near or on top of heating source.

6. Do not install the product on inclined or unstable location or where vibration could be committed.

Cautions about the Power
Warning
1. Must use the outlet of the grounding to connect the power cord, or
it may cause fire.
2. Do not connect on the middle of power cord or use extension cord.
It may generate heat or cause fire.
3. Do not touch the power cord with wet hands.
It may cause electric shock.
4. Keep power cord dry and protect from humidity.
It may generate heat or cause fire. The power cord is not waterproof.
5. Hold the body of the plug while removing the power plug.
Do not pull the power cord. Damage to the power cord may generate heat or cause fire.
6. Check the power plug regularly.
Humidity and moderation in smoking may cause fire.
7. Remove power cord from outlet when product is not used for a long time.
It may cause short-circuit or electric shock.
Caution
1. Do not turn off the power by removal of the power plug.
To turn off the power, click the power button from the front panel.
When the system stops abnormally, the power button might not work. Click power button for 5 full seconds to turn
power off.
2. Do not cut off the power artificially, or give shock or vibration to unit while the hard disk is activating.
It may cause hard disk failure or loss of data.

1. Getting Started
1.1 Checking Supplied Items
Make sure that you have following items supplied with your DVR. If any of these items is missing or damaged, notify your
vendor immediately. Keep the packing utilities for moving or storage purposes afterwards.

1.2 Connecting Peripheral Device
Install the DVR on flat surface with good ventilation to prevent overheating.

[DVR with 1.5U Height (360 x 66 x 380 mm)]
Warning ! ※Depending on the grounding, the BNC cable connecting to the camera has danger of electric shock.
Shut down the system power completely and unplug the power cable before connecting BNC cable to
BNC port of the system.
※When connecting power cable to the system, it is strongly recommended firstly to plug power cable to
the system and then the other side of power cable should be plugged to wall socket.

1.3 System Startup and Shutdown
1.3.1. System Startup
1. [LOG-IN] screen is shown as left after DVR is turned on.
Select the registered user
Default USER ID and PASSWORD are “admin” and “1234”.
2. Click the keyboard icon to call virtual keypad.
Input password, and then click [ENTER] button.
3. Click [OK] to finish login process.
1.3.2. System Shutdown
1. Move the mouse to the lower part of the screen to open the hidden
tool bar and click [TOOL] icon.
2. Click [SHUTDOWN] menu and input password with the same
procedure as login process to turn off DVR.
Caution It may take a few minutes to start working the system right after turning on in the case that user leaves the
network configuration in DHCP and at the same time there is neither DHCP server in user’s network, nor
physical network connection.

2.3 IR Remote Controller
The function buttons of the IR Remote Controller are as below.
2.3.1. How to set ID of IR Remote Controller
[Setting on DVR]
Go to [MENU] ▶[SYSTEM] ▶[SYSTEM INFO].
Set the wanted number at [Remote ID].
[Setting on IR Remote Controller]
Press [ID] button for about 5seconds, and press numeric button as
three-digit number.
For example,
(*) In case the Remote ID of DVR is 2, press 002.
(*) In case the Remote ID of DVR is 23, press 023.
Note IR remote Controller may differ depending on the model.

3. Operation
3.1 User Log-in
1. Move the mouse to the lower part of the screen to open the hidden
tool bar and click [TOOL] icon.
2. Click [USER] menu to open Log-In screen.
3. Change ID and input Password.
3.2 Live Display Mode
3.2.1. Channel Selection
[Selection on TOOL Bar]
Open the hidden tool bar on the lower part of the screen and select
screen mode icon to be displayed.
[Selection on Pop-up Menu]
Open pop-up menu and click [DISPLAY].
Select display mode.

3.2.3. Pop-up Menu
Click the right button of the mouse to open Pop-up menu.
[DISPLAY]
Display screen mode selection.
[SEQUENCE]
Sequentially change of the display screen.
[ZOOM]
Zoom-in and Zoom-out control of a selected channel.
[SEARCH]
Search recording image.
[PTZ]
Control PTZ camera of a selected channel.
[MENU]
Open Menu screen to setting DVR.
3.3 PTZ Operation
3.3.1. Go to PTZ Control Mode
1. Select a channel that is connected to PTZ camera.
2. Get into the PTZ control mode.
[Pop-up Menu]
1) Click the right button of the mouse to open pop-up menu.
2) Select [PTZ]
[TOOL Bar]
Click joystick icon on the TOOL bar.

3.3.2. PTZ Control
[Direction Control]
Drag the mouse pointer to up/down or left/rightward to move camera
position on pressing the left button of the mouse.
[Speed Control]
As the mouse pointer moves long away from the center, camera moves
faster.
Click the right button of the mouse to open Pop-up menu of PTZ
Control.
[ZOOM]
Click [ZOOM] and control Zoom-in/out with mouse wheel.
[FOCUS]
Click [FOCUS] and control Focus-in/out with mouse wheel.
[PRESET]
1) Click [PRESET] and then numeric pad will pop up.
2) Input a desired Preset number and click [ENTER].
3) Then, the camera will move to the preset position.
(*) Preset position should be set before use.
[GUARD TOUR]
Click [GUARD TOUR] to switch camera position, automatically, as per sequence setting of preset.
(*) Guard Tour should be set before use.
Caution Depending on PTZ camera, some preset positions might be skipped in the case that the PTZ camera
cannot mechanically move or control focus within the interval time set by DVR. In this case, it is
recommended to make setting of interval time a little longer.
3.4 Playback Recording Images
3.4.1. Go to Playback Mode
1. Click button on TOOL bar or push [PLAY] button on the front
panel or IR Remote Controller to go to Playback mode.
2. When it goes to Playback mode, the latest video clip will be played.

3.4.2. Playback Control
[Playback Direction]
Playback direction(forward & backward) can be controlled by mouse
or control button of the front panel/IR Remote Controller clicking as
well as Jog Shuttle control.
[Playback Speed]
Playback speed can be control 2, 4, 8, 16 & 32 times by clicking
fast-forward/fast-rewind button repeatedly or Jog/Shuttle.
[Time Bar Search]
Move the white vertical line on the time bar with mouse to search
image.
3.5 Quick Backup during Playback
Quick backup while the video is being played is available.
1. Click [ENTER] button on the front panel at the “start” time.
2. Click [ENTER] button again at the “end” time.
3. Then the backup menu screen will pop up.
4. Set details, such as backup device, and click [BACKUP] button to
start backup.

3.6 Search Recording Image
Click the right button of the mouse to open pop-up menu or open menu on TOOL bar. And then, go to search menu.
Or push [SEARCH] button on the front panel to open search menu.
3.6.1. Calendar Search
1. Select date in the calendar.
2. Select time with the white vertical bar on the time bar below.
3. Click [OK] to start playback.
3.6.2. Date/Time Search
1. Select date and time to search data.
2. Click [OK] to start playback.

3.6.3. Event Log
1. Select date to search log.
2. Select log type to search.
(Sensor / Motion / Video Loss / HDD Full)
3. Log list will be shown.
3.6.4. System Log
1. Select date to search log.
2. Select log type to search.
(System / Setup / Network)
3. Log list will be shown.
3.6.5. First Data
Go to the first screen of the recorded image. This is the oldest image recorded.
3.6.6. Last Data
Go to the last screen of the recorded image. This is the latest image recorded.

3.7 DST Setting and Image Playback
3.7.1. DST Setting
1. Go to [SYSTEM INFO] ( [MENU] ▶[SYSTEM] ▶)
2. Click [DATE/TIME] to open setting menu.
3. Tick off “USE DST"and set “BEGIN"/"END".
4. Click [OK] to confirm.
3.7.2. Image Playback of Overlapped Data
1. Overlapped period is indicated in Blue color in Intelli-Search Bar.
2. Click on the Blue color zone to playback.
3. Then, data selection message will pop up.
4. Select DST image or Non-DST image with the selection button.

4.1 System
User can find the menu button in “TOOL” of the menu bar or pop-up menu of mouse right button.
