Assembly & Installation Instructions
1. Insert T-Connectors (F) into all
T-Slots in the BlackPak panels.
2. Connect Handle Panels to Base Panel.
Orient Base Panel so countersunk holes are
facing up. Use screw (B) to secure Handle
Panel to T-Connectors on base.
4. Connect End Panels so that the T-Connectors on
the End Panels are adjacent to the T-Connects on
the Handle Panels. Uses screws (B) to secure End
Panels via T-Connectors.
5. Install corner connectors (D)on bottom of Base
Panel. Secure with self-tapping screws (A) from the
top of the Base Panel
6. Install Mighty Mount Connectors (E)on Top
corners using Screws (C)
3. Insert Bungee through
holes beneath handle hole
and tie off to secure.
7. Install hinges, oriented as pictured, in the
pre-drilled holes on the Handle Panel. Secure
with ¾ machine screws & thin lock nuts.

7. Set Lid onto BlackPak, positioned so the hinge cut-
outs align with the hinges. Rotate hinges over holes
and secured with ¾ screws and thin lock-nuts.
8. Set the BlackPak in your NuCanoe and determine
if you want the hinges to be on the right or the left.
Then install the Rod Tubes using ¾ machine
screw and lock nut on the End Panel that is to the
back. Note: You can also re-orient your BlackPak
by reversing the Rod Tubes.
9. Run the webbing through the slots in the appropriate
location and install the female buckle on the webbing.
Frontier 12 –Slots nearest Rod Tubes
Pursuit & Frontier 10 –Handle cutout and center slot.
10. Frontier 10 & 12 Only - Install male buckle onto
Frontier Footman’s Loop. Connect buckles and
tighten to secure. Release buckles to remove. Cut
excess webbing.
11. Pursuit Only –Run webbing through deck Ring
and install to male buckle. Run other strap through
the slots under the handle and through the female
end of the buckle. Insert Mighty Bolts in Freedom
Track. Install Deck Ring on Mighty Bolt, secure
with Mighty Knob. Connect buckles and tighten to
secure. Release buckles to remove. Cut excess
webbing.
