1. Do not use for any purpose other than described in this manual. Use only manufacturer’s recommended
attachments.
2. This product is for household use only, never commercial or industrial use.
3. Use vacuum only on indoor surfaces.Do not charge or use unit outdoors.
4. Do not allow vacuum to be used as a toy. Close supervision is necessary if the vacuum is being used by or near
children.
5. If the vacuum is not working properly, and has been dropped, damaged, left outdoors, submerged in water or
any other event that may cause it to malfunction, it must be replaced or repaired by an authorized Nugeni dealer
outlet. Contact the customer care helpline immediately at 1-866-677-4420.
6. Use only the charger supplied by the manufacturer to recharge your Nugeni vacuum. Charge vacuum with
standard electrical outlet (120V/60Hz)
7. Do not pull or carry your vacuum by the charging cord. Do not use the cord as a handle, and do not pull cord
around sharp edges and corners. Keep away from heat.
8. Do not use an extension cord for the charger. Use of extension cord could cause shock, re, and even
electrocution.
9. Do not handle the appliance, charger, charger plug, or charger terminals with wet hands.
10. Unplug from outlet and store charger and vacuum in a cool dry area not exposed to weather or moisture to
avoid electrical shock and/or damage.
11. To avoid overheating, do not run the vacuum while it is plugged into the charger.
12. Use extra care when cleaning on stairs.

14. If vacuum overheats for any reason, turn o the power and allow to cool for at least one hour. Remove any
clogged debris before resuming operation.

It is important for you to read and understand this manual, as the information contained within will help protect your
safety, your home, and help prevent problems with your unit. Please be sure to always unplug your vacuum, until
you are familiar with the unit, or if you are ever performing any maintenance or inspection. When using electrical
appliances, there are basic precautions and warnings which always should be followed. These include:

23. Do not put unit or charging base in water or other liquids.
24. This vacuum creates suction and has a motorized rotation brush. Keep all body parts, hair, ngers, and loose
tting clothing away from the openings or moving parts.
25. Never use without the lter, or with the dust bin lid open.
26. Do not look into air vents when unit is on. Small debris may be discharged from air vents, especially after
recently cleaning or changing the lter.
1. This product is powered by a rechargeable Li-Ion battery. Never incinerate batteries as they will explode at high
temperatures.
2. If battery contents or liquid come into contact with the skin or any other area of the body, immediately wash
area with soap and water. If liquid gets in eyes, ush them immediately with water for a minimum of 10
minutes. Seek medical help immediately.
3. Do not disassemble, drop, abuse, hit, crush, bend, puncture, deform or apply any other unnecessary pressure
to battery.
4. Do not attempt to modify battery in any way. Do not expose or immerse in liquids, or expose to re or any other
excessive heat. Never put in microwave oven.
5. 5. For use only with (Nugeni/Model#MKS-2191000) batteries or equivalent. Other types of batteries may burst
causing injury and/or damage to property.
6. 6. For use only with (Nugeni/Model# 5ICR19/66) charger or equivalent. Do not attempt to charge the battery with
any other device from any other manufacturer, other than the supplied unit or charging station that came with
your purchase.
7. Do not allow metallic, or any other conductive surfaces and/or objects to come into contact with both battery
terminals simultaneously. A battery short circuit will occur if this happens.
8. Batteries should run at before removal.
9. Never throw out a defective or damaged battery. Never dispose used batteries with household waste. To locate
the nearest battery recycling center please call 1-877-273-2925 or visit www.call2recycle.org.
Improper handling of the battery may be hazardous.

Emptying Dust Bin
1. Pull up on dust bin release lever.
2. Open dust bin lid, and tilt unit to empty.
3. Inspect mesh pre-lter and air lter for excessive dust or hair
build-up. Remove, clean, and replace as needed. (see next
section for details)
4. Close dust bin lid securely after emptying, ensuring lid fully
“snaps” closed.
1. Install vacuum tool adapter: align adapter base with intake port
and push rmly to “click” secure.
2. Install accessory tools as needed: t accessory end into adapter
opening and push rmly to secure. (align marks on tool and
adapter for proper orientation)

3. Rinse lter and mesh pre-lter thoroughly under cold
running water, after removing as much debris as possible
using above steps.
4. Allow air lter parts to dry completely before re-installing.
Minimum dry time: 24 hours.
1. Tap on inside edge of trash can to remove loose dust and debris.
2. Use lter maintenance brush to clear any trapped dust and debris
from mesh openings and fabric pleats.

Maintaining a clean beater bar greatly improves upright vacuum performance.
Use scissors or sharp knife to cut through tangled hair and bers once beater bar is removed.

• Empty dust bin after each use or when debris stops spinning freely.
• Regularly inspect and clean lter cover and air lter as detailed on p.10
• If cleaning performance decreases over time, it may be time to replace
the air lter. Replacement lters can be purchased from Nugeni
directly: call 1-866-677-4420 or visit mynugeni.com.
• Regularly inspect intake areas for blockages and clear as needed to
prevent decreased performance and loss of suction.
• Regularly inspect and clean beater bar as detailed on p.13
• To thoroughly clean handheld unit interior, remove motor assembly
from rear side of dust bin barrel.
• Wipe barrel assembly and inside of dust bin and using damp soft
cloth. Do not use detergents, polishes or air fresheners. Do not put
any part of vacuum in dishwasher.
• Ensure all components are completely dry before re-assembling.
• When not in use, install handheld unit onto mopstick and store on at
safe surface (or charging dock).
• Do not place vacuum upside down.
1. Open upper battery cover: grasp top edge and pull out rmly to
“snap” cover open. Repeat for bottom cover.
2. Slide and hold assembly release switch on back of handheld unit.
3. Grasp both battery cover handles with other hand and pull rmly
outward to remove barrel assembly.

Tips For Optimal Performance
• The beater bar and wheels may become clogged with hair and debris. This will aect the mobility of your vacuum
stick and suction performance. Remove hair and other objects prior to each use.
• Keep all openings free from hair, lint, and any other build ups that will aect air ow and performance.
• The key to peak performance is having a clean dust bin and lter. The Nugeni vacuum dust bin must be emptied
regularly to maintain total suction power. Seeing your bin ll up is a good thing. It means your vacuum is working!
You should begin with a clean bin each time you use your Nugeni vacuum.
• It is recommended to inspect and clean lters monthly. Cleaning is easy. Just use water and allow to dry for 24
hours. A new lter is recommended every year.

Your Nugeni vacuum is warranted against original defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 2 years
from the date of purchase, if used under normal conditions in accordance with this manual. The warranty is
granted to the original purchaser and members if his/her immediate household. If you do not have proof of
purchase, the warranty period will begin 90 days after the manufacture date of this unit, as recorded through
Nugeni’s manufacturer data records. Nugeni will, at its option, repair or replace free of charge (parts and
labor), a defective cleaner or cleaner part covered by this warranty. Proof of purchase and/or registration is
required, and a fee up to $19.95 will be charged to cover the cost of return freight. Nugeni will not refund the
consumer’s purchase price. This limited warranty is subject to the following terms:
• any use other than what is described in this manual
• purchased units from unauthorized dealers
• use of the product in a commercial operation
• parts of the cleaner that require replacement under normal use, including: the beater bar, bristles, the lter, drive
belts, or reduced battery life
• vacuum cleaner accessories
• any damage resulting from abuse, careless handling, or where intentional misuse can be identied
• the use of the vacuum on any outdoor or wet surfaces
• damage from outside weather and conditions, due to improper storage and use
