The P600 DIN Rail Player and the P601 DIN Rail Power Supply are specifically designed for
mounting to any standard 35 mm DIN rail. The P600 offers built-in access to networked audio
content, internet radio, and streaming services for any single zone in your home. Use the Nuvo
Player app for iOS and Android mobile devices for instant control, or select in-wall keypads and
touch screen options to provide a convenient fixed-location control point. The P601 provides
power for up to four Nuvo DIN Rail Players, making the Nuvo Player Portfolio system flexible and
scalable when providing powerful, high-fidelity audio in your home.
INSTALLATION
Notes:
• These instructions assume all necessary DIN rails are currently installed within the enclosure. The
P600 and P601 mount to a standard 35 mm DIN rail. A standard, narrow residential enclosure is
18 module spaces (M), which will fit up to four (4) P600s (3 M each) and one (1) P601 (6 M).
• Power cables are not included. Use the "Cable Size Requirements" on page 24 to identify cable
requirements.

STEP 1: Turn off the main power supply to the DIN rail enclosure.
STEP 2: Clip the power supply onto the DIN rail. (Fig. 2, Number 1)
STEP 3: Clip the amplifier(s) onto the DIN rail. (Fig. 2, Number 1)
Note: For best performance and ease of wiring, mount the amplifier(s) next to the power supply, on
the same DIN rail.
STEP 4: Connect the P600 to the P601. (Fig. 2, Number 3)
Note: Do not use the AUX/24 V connection for connecting to the P600. For future use only.
– Insert the exposed end of the cable into the P600 24 V (+) connection slot. Tighten the connection
screw.
– Insert the remaining exposed end of the cable into the P601 24 V/18 W (+) connection slot. Tighten
the connection screw.
– Repeat the wiring process for the P600 24 V (-) connection slot.
Note: Make sure the end of each cable is securely held under the appropriate screw connection.
– Repeat procedure to connect additional P600 units. Up to four P600 amplifiers can connect to one
P601 power supply unit.

STEP 5: Connect the speakers to the P600. (Fig. 2, Number 4)
– Insert the exposed end of the R (+) speaker connection cable into the P600 R (+) connection slot.
Tighten the P600 R (+) connection screw.
– Repeat the wiring process for the R (-), L (+), and L (-) connection slots.
Note: Make sure the end of each cable is securely held under the appropriate screw connection.
– Repeat procedure to connect additional speakers to other P600 units.
STEP 6: Plug the Ethernet cable into the Ethernet port ( ) on the P600 to connect directly to the
network LAN.
STEP 7: Plug a USB drive into the USB port ( ) on the P600. (Optional to share music content with the
Nuvo Player Portfolio System.)
STEP 8: Plug the 3.5 mm stereo input line into the analog stereo input jack ( ). (Optional)
Note: Connecting a compatible audio device to the P600, using an analog stereo input line, allows the
user to play music selections from the connected device.
STEP 9: Connect the DIN rail enclosure power to the P601 using the P601 AC connection slots (N and L).
(Fig. 2, Number 2)
Note: The universal power supply will accept any incoming AC voltage worldwide.
STEP 10: Turn on the main power supply to the DIN rail enclosure.
STEP 11: Download and launch the Nuvo Player Portfolio app available on the App Store or on Google
Play. Follow the on-screen instructions in the App to complete the setup.

Le lecteur sur rail DIN P600 et l’alimentation sur rail DIN P601 sont spécialement conçus pour un
montage sur tout rail DIN de 35mm standard. Le P600 offre un accès intégré au contenu audio
en réseau, à la radio Internet et aux services de lecture en continu dans chaque zone unique de
votre domicile. Utilisez l’application Nuvo Player pour appareils mobiles iOS et Android pour une
commande instantanée ou sélectionnez des pavés de touches muraux et des options sur l’écran
tactile pour fournir un point de commande pratique en lieu fixe. Le P601 peut alimenter jusqu’à
quatre lecteurs sur rail DIN Nuvo, faisant du système Nuvo Player Portfolio un ensemble flexible
et évolutif fournissant un son haute fidélité puissant chez vous.
INSTALLATION
Remarques :
• Ces instructions supposent que tous les rails DIN nécessaires sont actuellement installés dans
l’enceinte. Le P600 et le P601 se montent sur un rail DIN de 35 mm standard. Une enceinte
résidentielle étroite standard comporte 18 espaces modulaires (M), lesquels peuvent accueillir un
maximum de quatre (4) P600 (3 M chacun) et un (1) P601 (6 M).
• Les câbles d’alimentation ne sont pas fournis. Pour identifier les câbles nécessaires, se référer à
«Tailles de câble exigées», à la page 24.
ÉTAPE 1: Mettre l’enceinte des rails DIN hors tension au niveau de l’interrupteur général.
ÉTAPE 2 : Fixer l’alimentation sur le rail DIN. (Fig. 2, numéro 1)
ÉTAPE 3 : Fixer le ou les amplificateurs sur le rail DIN. (Fig. 2, numéro 1)
Remarque : Pour obtenir une performance optimale et faciliter le câblage, monter le ou les
amplificateurs à côté de l’alimentation, sur le même rail DIN.

ÉTAPE 4 : Brancher le P600 sur le P601. (Fig. 2, numéro 3)
Remarque : Ne pas utiliser le connecteur AUX/24 V pour effectuer le branchement sur le P600.
Réservé à une utilisation ultérieure.
– Insérer l’extrémité exposée du câble dans la fente de branchement sur 24 V (+) du P600. Serrer la
vis de branchement.
– Insérer l’extrémité exposée restante du câble dans la fente de branchement sur 24 V/18W (+) du
P601. Serrer la vis de branchement.
– Répéter la procédure de câblage pour la fente de branchement sur 24 V (-) du P600.
Remarque : Veiller à ce que l’extrémité de chaque câble soit solidement fixée en place sous la vis
appropriée.
– Répéter la procédure pour brancher des P600 supplémentaires. Ne pas brancher plus de quatre
amplificateurs P600 sur une alimentation P601.
ÉTAPE 5 : Brancher les haut-parleurs au P600. (Fig. 2, numéro 4)
– Insérer l’extrémité exposée du câble de branchement au haut-parleur R (+) dans la fente de
branchement R (+) du P600. Serrer la vis de branchement R (+) du P600.
– Répéter la procédure de câblage pour les fentes de branchement R (-), L (+) et L (-).
Remarque : Veiller à ce que l’extrémité de chaque câble soit solidement fixée en place sous la vis
appropriée.
– Répéter la procédure pour brancher des haut-parleurs supplémentaires à d’autres P600.
ÉTAPE 6 : Brancher le câble Ethernet dans le port Ethernet ( ) du P600 pour une connexion directe
au réseau local.
ÉTAPE 7 : Insérer une clé USB dans le port USB ( ) du P600. (Optionnel pour partager un contenu
musical avec le système Nuvo Player Portfolio).
