SOUR CE STATUS I NPUTS
1
A CAT5 cable between a Control Pad and the
NuVoNet connection hub, Grand Concerto EZ
Port or Essentia Allport, provides power to the
Control Pad and allows the Control Pad to
display complete menu and metadata from the
PC as a source.
A CAT5 cable between the Music Port and
NuVoNet connection hub, Grand Concerto EZ
Port or Essentia Allport, provides power to the
Music Port and allows the Music Port to
communicate as a NuVoNet device.
An RS232 cable between the Music Port and a PC
or home server device allows bidirectional
communication between the two.
A CAT5 cable between the amplifier and
NuVoNet allows the amplifier to provide power
to NuVoNet and allows the amplifier to
communicate with the NuVoNet devices.
An optional RS232 cable between the Music Port
and the Grand Concerto or Essentia amplifier
enables control of the NuVoNet Suite by other
PC’s on the home network.
The Music Port acts as a bridge between a PC and NuVoNet.
