2.1 Installation site and ambient conditions

Cleaning the device front
Thedevicefrontcanbecleanedusingwarmorhotwater
(possiblyaddingslightlyacidic,neutralorslightlyalkaline
cleaning agent). It has a limited resistance to organic solvents
(e.g.methylatedspirits,whitespirit,etc.).Donotuseabrasive
orhigh-pressurecleaningequipment.

2. Pushthefasteningframefromthepanelrearontothedevicebodyand
pressthespringsagainstthepanelrearuntilthelugsengageintheirslots
anditissucientlyfastened.

3. Electrical connection
3.1 Installation notes
• Thechoiceofcable,theinstallationandtheelectrical
connectionofthedevicemustconformtotherequirements
ofVDE0100“RegulationsontheInstallationofPowerCircuits
with Nominal Voltages below 1000 V” or the appropriate local
regulations.
• Theelectricalconnectionmustonlybecarriedoutbyqualified
personnel.
• Theinstrumentshallbeoperatedbymainsprotectedwitha
branchcircuitryovercurrentprotectiondevicenotmorethan
20Amps.Forservicing/repairingaDisconnectingDeviceshall
beprovidedtodisconnectallconductors.
• Theloadcircuitmustbefusedforthemaximumrelaycurrent,
inordertopreventtheoutputrelaycontactsbecomingwelded
intheeventofashortcircuitoccurringatthatpoint.
• The electromagnetic compatibility conforms to the standards
andregulationscitedinthetechnicaldata.
• Runinput,outputandsupplycablesseparatelyandnotin
parallel with one another.
• Sensorandinterfacecablesshouldbeshieldedcableswith
twistedconductors.Donotruncablesclosetocurrent-carrying
componentsorcables.Groundtheshieldingononeside.
• Donotconnectanyadditionalloadstothesupplyterminalsof
the device.
