1 Important
Safety
The lightning ash

To avoid tilt or drop, place

Make sure that the power
supply voltage is within the
range indicated on the label
on the device or power
adapter. If you are not sure
of the type of power supply,
consult you dealer or local
power company.
Do not defeat the safety
purpose of the polarized
or grounding-type plug. A
polarized plug has two blades
with one wider than the other.
A grounding type plug has two
blades and a third grounding
prong. The wide blade or the
third prong is provided for your
safety. If the provided plug
does not t into your outlet,
consult an electrician for
replacement of the obsolete
outlet.
When connected to a power
outlet, power is always owing
into the device. To completely
disconnect power, unplug the
power cord.
When you unplug the power
cord, always hold the plug
instead of the cord.
Do not overload power
strips and extension cords.

Thank you for purchasing our
product.
This is a clock radio speaker
system that allows you to:
• Wake you up at a preset time,
with the built-in buzzer, radio
broadcast, or music from your
docked iPod/iPhone.
• Dock and charge your iPod/
iPhone.
• Play music from your docked
iPod/iPhone.
• Tune and listen to your favorite
FM radio stations.
• Play music from a connected
auxiliary device.

Overview

previous or next song.

Unpack
Unpack and identify the items
of your package.
• 1 x clock radio speaker
• 1 x power adapter
• 1 x 3.5mm audio cable

Connectpower
Connect the supplied power
adapter:
• round connector to the DC
in socket on the back of the
device
• power plug to the wall
socket
Turnonthedevice
Slide the Power on/off switch on
the back of the device to the
left.
+The display panel lights up.
Toturnoffthedevice:
• Slide the Power on/off
switch to the right.
Activatethebackupbattery
Remove the protective tab
on the battery cover at the
bottom of the device.

Tips:
• The backup battery is used
for storage of the set clock
and alarm in cases of
power interruption.
• If no backup battery is
loaded or the battery is
used up, you need to set
the clock and alarm again.
Toreplacethebackupbattery:
1 Unscrew the battery cover
at the bottom of the
device.
2 Replace the old battery
with a new one (type:
CR2025) with the correct
polarity.
3 Mount the battery cover
securely.

Note:
• If you have a protective
case on your iPod/iPhone,
you may need to remove it
rst.
Connect your iPod/iPhone to
the dock connector on the top
of the device.
+The clock time is
synchronized automatically
from your iPod/iPhone to
the device.
Tosetalarmaftersynchronization:
1 Press Source repeatedly to
select the time source.
+The set clock is displayed
on the screen.
2 Press Set repeatedly until
is displayed at the upper
left corner of the screen.
3 Proceed with step 5 below
to set the alarm.
Setclockandalarmmanually
You can also set the clock
and alarm at the same time
manually. Two wake-up timers
(alarm 1 and 2) are available,
which are helpful when you
and your family need to be
woken up at different time.
1 Press Source repeatedly to
select the time source.
2 Press Set on the top of the
device.

as the alarm source but

docked at the preset alarm
time, you will be woken
up with the built-in buzzer
instead automatically.

once to deactivate alarm 1 or

4 Press or to skip to the
previous or next song.

resume music play.

Notes:
• In some regions, you may
need to change the
frequency step between
adjacent channels. Slide
the Radio EU/US switch on
the back of the device
to the left or right to
change the frequency
step between 200 kHz (US)
and 50 kHz (EU). After the
operation, you need to
power off and then power
on the device to activate
the setting.
• For optimal reception,
fully extend the xed FM
antenna at the back of the
device.
Tunetoaradiostation
1 Press Source repeatedly to
select the FM radio source.
+The FM source icon is
displayed at the bottom of
the screen.
+The device tunes to the
last tuned FM radio station
automatically.
2 Press and hold or
until the frequency
indication starts to change,
then release the button.
+The device tunes to a radio
station with strong signal
reception automatically.
Tips:
• To tune to a weak radio
station, you can also press
or repeatedly to
adjust the frequency step
by step.

a radio frequency for ten
seconds, the screen returns
to normal clock display. To
display the current radio
frequency again, press
Source once.
Storeyourfavoriteradiostations
You can store up to three
favorite FM radio stations.
1 In FM tuner mode, tune
to a radio frequency and
press Set.
+A preset number “1” starts
to ash on the screen.
2 Press Set again to conrm
the preset.
+The next preset number
starts to ash on the screen.
3 Repeat the steps to store
two more radio stations.
Toselectapresetradiostation:
In FM tuner mode, press
repeatedly to select a preset
number.
+The selected preset number
and the corresponding
radio frequency are
displayed on the screen
briey.
+The device tunes to the
corresponding radio
station.
Tip:
• After the device stays at a
preset radio frequency for
ten seconds, the screen
returns to normal clock
display. To display the
current radio frequency
again, press Source once.

device
Through this clock radio
speaker, you can listen to music
from any auxiliary device with
a 3.5mm headphone socket,
such as a PC or an MP3 player.
