provide exciting “on the water” fun for you, your family, and friends. This tube is
constructed of the nest materials, and assembled to rigid specications. We hope

Watersports can be safe and fun for all levels of enthusiasts. The Operator’s Manual is presented to
enhance your enjoyment of the sport. It is intended to alert you to some of the potentially dangerous
conditions that can arise in all watersports.
To reduce the risk of injury or death, follow these guidelines:
• Carefully read this manual and follow the instructions.
• Only use your tube with a responsible watercraft operator who knows how to operate a watercraft
properly.
• Take all reasonable precautions in the use and operation of your tube and boat.
• Teach anyone using your tube how to attach it to the rope, how to ride it, and how to maintain it.
• Use a single tube for not more than one rider and no more than two riders for a double tube. Do not
exceed the manufacturer’s recommended number of riders for your particular tube.
• If the tube is designed for more than one person, take extra precaution to avoid colliding with one
another.
• The stress on the rope is different from the stress on the tube, and will vary with the weight of the
passengers, design, and surface area of the tube.
• Never strap or attach anyone to the tube or cover. Never put your feet or hands through the strap-
ping of the towing system or handles. Never wedge your hands or feet under the cover or between the
cover and the tube.
• Never attempt jumps or dangerous tricks with your tube. If more than one tube is being towed,
avoid collisions with other tubes.
• Scout the area before use to avoid any debris or obstacles that might present a safety hazard.
• Know your own limits. Stop when you are tired. Act responsibly. Be in good physical condition and
be cautious in your use of this or any other towable tube.
• Check the rope and connector for frays, cuts, sharp edges, knots, or wear before each use. Discard
rope if any such condition exists or if rope appears to be worn. Such conditions may lead to breaks.
• Do not use tow rope with elastic or bungee material to pull skiers or riders. Such an addition can
break or stretch which may lead to injury of users or boat occupants.
• Rope is subject to deterioration when exposed to direct sunlight. The life of the product will be
extended when stored away from sunlight.
• The tow rope should be replaced when signs of deterioration appear, indicated by the existence of
discoloration, wearing, fraying or raveling.
• Do not add hardware or attachments that are not otherwise supplied by the manufacturer.

• Use a tow rope of at least 1500 lbs. average tensile strength for pulling a single
person, 2375 lbs. average tensile strength for pulling two people, 3350 lbs. aver-
age tensile strength for pulling for three people and 4100 lbs. tensile strength for
pulling four people on an inatable tube. The tow rope should be at least 50 feet in
length but not to exceed 65 feet.

WATERSPORTS SAFETY CODE
Watersports are fun and challenging but involve inherent risks of injury or death.
To increase your enjoyment of the sport and to reduce your risks, use common
sense and follow these rules:
Before you start:
• Familiarize yourself with all applicable federal, state and local laws, the risks inher-
ent in the sport and the proper use of the equipment.
• Know the waterways.
• Always have a person other than the driver as an observer.
• Skier/rider, observer and driver must agree on hand signals.
• Never start out until skier/rider signals he/she is ready.
• Carbon Monoxide (CO) poisoning from engine exhaust may cause injury or death.
Do not sit on the boat transom or boarding platform while the engine is running.
These activities may lead to excessive CO exposure which may cause injury or death.
If you can smell engine exhaust while in the boat, do not stay seated in that position
for prolonged periods. Never “Platform Drag” by holding onto the boarding platform
or be dragged directly behind the boat. An improperly tuned engine will produce
excessive exhaust. Have your engine checked and corrected by a mechanic. Chang-
ing boat speed or direction relative to the wind can reduce or increase boat exhaust
from accumulating near the boat and rider. Consult your boat Owners Manual, or the
United States Coast Guard’s website: www.uscgboating.org for more information on
how to help protect others and yourself from the dangers of CO poisoning
• Use caution and common sense.
• Do not exceed the weight guidelines of your boat. Only use water ballast and people
for additional weight. Do not allow passengers to hang outside the boat or sit on the
gunwales outside the normal seating area of the boat. Uneven weight distribution or
additional weight may affect the handling of the boat. Never allow water to overow
the gunwales of your boat.

Your equipment and your tow rope:
• Inspect all equipment prior to use. Check bindings, ns, tube and attachment point,
and otation device prior to each use. Do not use if damaged.
• Always wear a U.S. Coast Guard Type III (PFD) Life Jacket.
• Rope should be attached to the watercraft in an approved fashion with hardware
designed for towing. Refer to your watercraft manual for instructions on proper tow
rope attachment.
• Tow ropes stretch during use. If a rope breaks or is suddenly released, it can snap
back into the watercraft. Warn all riders, skiers and occupants of the danger of rope
recoil.
• When in the boat, keep away from the tow rope to avoid injury. Passengers can be
hit, or become entangled in the rope.
• Inspect tow rope and its attachments before using. Do not use tow rope if frayed,
knotted or damaged. Replace when signs of excessive deterioration are indicated by
discoloration, broken laments, unraveling or other obvious signs of wear on the rope
or hardware.
• Use proper tow rope for the activity.
• Ensure tow rope is clear of all body parts prior to starting out or during use.
• Keep persons and ropes away from propeller when engine is running, even in
neutral. Should rope become entangled in propeller, SHUT OFF ENGINE AND
REMOVE IGNITION KEY BEFORE RETRIEVING ROPE.
When you ski or ride:
• Attempting land or dock starts can increase the risk of injury or death. USE THIS
PRODUCT ONLY ON WATER.
•Always remove any slack in the rope between watercraft and skier/ rider before start-
ing. Sudden shock loads may cause injury to skier/rider or failure of rope, resulting in
snap-back or breakage.
• Do not ski or ride in shallow water, near shore, pilings, docks, rafts, swimmers, other
boats or other obstacles. Such obstacles are examples of risks that are inherent in the
sport.
• The driver and skier/rider must watch for and be able to stop or turn to avoid ob-
stacles.
• Always ski or ride in control and at speeds appropriate for your ability. Ski or ride
within your limits. Do not ski or ride over ramps or jumps without prior instruction.
• Falling and the injuries that may result are inherent risks in the sport.
• Use a ag to signal to others that a skier or rider is in the water.
• Driver must use extra caution approaching a fallen skier/rider and keep eye contact
on fallen skier/rider at all times.
• Put the boat in neutral when near a fallen skier/rider. Turn the engine off when
people are getting into or out of the boat, or in the water near the boat.
• Do not operate watercraft, ski or ride under the inuence of alcohol or drugs.

THE WARNINGS AND PRACTICES SET FORTH ABOVE IN THE WATER-
SPORTS SAFETY CODE REPRESENT SOME COMMON RISKS ENCOUN-
TERED BY USERS. THE CODE DOES NOT PURPORT TO COVER ALL
INSTANCES OF RISK OR DANGER. PLEASE USE COMMON SENSE AND
GOOD JUDGMENT.

INFLATION AND ASSEMBLY
Begin by inserting the tube into its cover (when applicable) and aligning it as well as
possible. When there are multiple air chambers inate the smaller push-in valve(s) rst
and the large, screw-in (Boston) valve last. To inate your tube, use any high volume,
low-pressure inator. Your O’BRIEN dealer can direct you to the O’BRIEN 12-volt
inator or any of the many foot pumps or hand pumps that are available. Some of the
O’BRIEN inatables come with large Boston valves that may be lled using either the
pumps referred to above or your local gas stations air hose. When included, you will
nd it under the top cap of the large screw-in valve.
A towable tube comes with either a “Quick Connect” hook tting a webbing strap or
a section of rope at the towing end of the tube. These are for connecting your towline.
Be sure the line is connected securely. Check it regularly between rides to avoid the
dangers of a sudden disconnect.
MAINTENANCE OF YOUR TUBE
After use, clean debris from your tube by wiping it off or spraying it with fresh water.
This is especially important if it has been used in salt water, or in an area where there
has been exposure to oil or gasoline.
Never use harsh detergents to clean the tube. If you need more than water, use dish-
washing detergent or a similarly mild cleansing agent.
Dry your tube and store it DEFLATED, in a cool, dry area. Storage in a very cold
area could result in cracking of the vinyl tubes.
REPAIRS
Your tube is made of very durable materials; but you may get an occasional puncture.
A repair kit is included with your O’BRIEN tube. To patch your tube, take the follow-
ing steps:
1. Clean the area around the hole to remove any foreign matter. Mild detergent should
sufce.
2. Cut a patch (round or oval shaped) from the patching material included in the repair
kit. The patch must be somewhat larger than the hole.
3. Apply thin layer of glue to the patch and the area around the hole. Allow the glue to
set on each for about 1 minute.
4. Position the patch over the hole and press down rmly on a at surface. Remove
any trapped air by rubbing the patch from the center outward.
5. Wait 24 hours to reinate your tube.

Utilisation de votre gonable tractable
Votre gonable a été dessiné pour être tracté derrière un bateau. C’est un sport excitant
mais qui peut aussi être dangereux. Comme dans tous les sports, la mauvaise utiliza-
tion ou le non-respect du materiel peuvent résulter dans les blessures ou même la mort.
Soyez conscient des risques et n’utiliser votre gonables que si vous acceptez des
risques.
Soyez responsable, en bonne forme physique et soyez soigneux dans l’utilisation de
votre tube ou tout autre engine tractable.
Précautions à prendre pour les pilotes de bateaux
1. Assurez vous que votre tractable est bien attaché à la corde de traction. Attacher
la corde à l’attache rapide du bateau et eu nœud qui est à l’avant du gonable. Avant
de tracter verier plusieurs fois que ces attaches sont bien rélisées et sécurisées. Un
à coup soudain pourrait être dangereux pour la personne sur le gonable et pour les
occupants du bateau.
2. Utiliser une corde qui a une résistance sufsante pour tracter le gonable. A cause
de sa forme particulière le tractable offer plus de résistance à la traction que le ski nau-
tique. Nous recommandons donc que vous utilisiez une corde spécique à la traction
des gonables. Mais surtout n’utiliser jamais une corde qui soit élastique. Le retour
rapide d’une telle corde pourrait avoir des consequences graves pour l’utilisateur du
gonable et pour les occupants du bateau. Votre revendeur O’BRIEN peut vous con-
seiller utilement dans le choix de votre corde. Vérier avant l’utilisation que la corde
est en bon état. La remplacer si elle est endommagée. La corde doit avoir au moins
15m de longueur sans toutefois dépasser 25m.
3. Observer les memes règles de sécurité que pour la pratique du ski nautique, un pas-
sager du bateau observe l’utilisateur ( autre que le pilote ) et it peut utiliser un drapeau

4. Tracter le gonable à une vitesse raisonnable et en tout état de cause ne pas dépasser
la vitesse maxi de 36km/h pour un adulte et 25km/h pour un enfant.
5. Le pilote a la responsabilité du contrôle de la traction du gonable. Il doit éviter
les rochers, les pontoons, les autres bateaux et autres obstacles qui pourraient blesser
l’utilisateur.
Précautions pour l’utilisateur
1. Il est clairement marqué sur votre gonable qu’il est utilisable par une seule
personne ou par deux personnes. Les « Le Tube » sont clairement dessinés pour ces
utilisations. Quand vous utilisez un tube pour deux personnes, prendre des précautions
supplémentaires an d’éviter des collisions entre les deux utilisateurs. Il y a particu-
lièrement un risque de collision entre les deux têtes ou d’autres parties du corps.
2. Ne pas faire des sauts, des gures dangereuses quand vous glissez sur votre gon-
able. Ne jamais démarrer en glissant sur un ponton ou d’une surface hors de l’eau. Si
plusieurs gonables sont tractés en même temps utiliser les mêmes longueurs de corde
an d’éviter les collisions.
3. Les utilisateurs ne doivent pas attacher ensemble les protections en nylon des gon-
ables. Ne jamais mettre les bras ou les jambes sous le système de traction du gon-
able. Ne jamais mettre les bras et les jambes sous la protection en nylon de la partie
gonable.
4. Les utilisateurs doivent maintenir leurs jambes au-dessus de l’eau. La force de l’eau
si vous entrez en contact avec elle lors de la traction peut vous déséquilibrer et vous
blesser plus ou moins gravement.
5. Ayez conscience de vos propres limites. ARRETEZ VOUS LORSQUE VOUS

GONFLACE ET ASSEMBLAGE
Commencer en insérant le tube dans sa housse (s’il y en a une) En l’alignant aussi bien
que possible. Quand il y a plusieurs chambres de gonage commencer par goner la
plus petite, puis la plus grande, (celle avec la valve de type Boston) ensuite utiliser
un goneur à grand volume d’air. Votre revendeur O’BRIEN peut vous vendre un
goneur électrique 12 volt adapté, mais n’importe quel goneur à pied fera l’affaire.
Certains modèles de gonables O’BRIEN utilisent des valves de type pneumatique
que vous pouvez goner dans une station service.
Votre gonable est parfois livré en série avec une attache rapide, une triangle en V
cousu sur le gonable et une corde adaptée pour la traction. Vérier bien la bonne con
nection de l’ensemble au bateau. Vérier fréquemment l’état de ce système de traction
an de prévenir tout détachement intempestif.
ENTRETIEN DE VOTRE GONFLABLE
Après utilisation, nettoyer les diverses saletés de votre gonable en le brossant ou
mieux en le passant à l’eau fraîche. C’est particulièrement important s’il a été
Utilisé en eau salée ou dans une zone ou il a pu être en contact avec du oul ou de
l’essence.
Ne Jamais utiliser de détergents agressifs pour nettoyer le gonable. Si l’eau fraîche ne
suft pas, utiliser des produits de lavage doux du type de ceux qui sont employés pour
la vaisselle. Sécher le gonable et stocker le dégoné, dans un endroit sec et tempéré.
Le stockage dans un endroit très froid pourrait résulter dans de craquelures de la partie
en vinyle.

REPARATIONS
Votre gonable est fabriqué dans un matériau très durable dans le temps, mais vous
pouvez avoir occasionnellement une crevaison. Pour la réparation suivre la procédure
suivante:
1- Nettoyer soigneusement la surface autour du trou. Un détergent doux devraite
sufre.
2- Couper un morceau de matériau ou rustine (rondo u ovale) dans le matériau
de secours qui est dans la trousse de réparation. Le morceau doit être bien sûr
plus grand que le trou à réparer.
3- Appliquer une ne couche de colle sur la rustine et sur la surface autour du
trou. Laisser sécher la colle environ 1 minute des deuz côtés.
4- Positionner la rustine sur le trou et presser l’ensemble fermement sur
une surface plane. Enlever les bulles d’air en frottant avec les pouces la rustine de
l’intérieur vers l’extérieur.
5- Attendre pendant 24 heures avant de regoner l’engin.

para proporcionar excitante diversión “en el agua” para usted, su familia y sus amigos.
Este tube ha sido construido utilizando los mejores materials, y armado bajo rigidas
especicaciones. Esperamos que usted disfrute su TUBE durante varias temporadas.
POR FAVOR LEA ATENTAMENTE EL RESTO DE ESTE MANUAL, ANTES DE
EMPEZAR A USAR SU TUBE.
RESPONSABILIDAD DEL PROPIETARIO
1.-Lea este manual atentamente, prestando especial attención a aquellos items marca
dos como “PRECAUCIONES”
2.-Siga las instrucciones de este este manual y tambien aquellas impresas en su TUBE.
3.-Solamente utilice su TUBE con un conductor de lancha que conozca adecuada
mente su accionar.
4.-Informese de las reglamentaciones locales y de los peligros asociado con la moto-
náutica, el esqui y el uso de tubes.
5.-Tome todas las precauciones razonables en el uso y operación de su tube y de su
embarcacion.
6.-Instruya a todo aquel que use su tube, como asegurar la cuerda, como conducirlo y
como cuidarlo.
USANDO SU TUBE
EL TUBE ha sido diseñado como un inable individual para ser remolcado por una
embarcacion. Este pueded ser un deporte muy excitante, pero tambien puede ser pelig-
roso. COMO EN CUALQUIER DEPORTE DE ACCION, UN USO IMPRUDENTE,
UN MAL USO Y/O DESCUIDO DEL EQUIPO, PUEDE RESULTAR EN GRAVES
LESIONES (O MUERTE). ESTE ATENTO DE LOS RIESGOS; Y SOLAMENTE
USE SU TUBE SI ESTA DISPUESTO A ACEPTARLOS.
Actue responsablemente, mantengase en buenas condiciones físicas, y sea prudente en
el uso de este u otro tubo remolcable.
PRECAUCIONES
1.-Asequrese que el TUBE este correctamente amarrado a la cuerda de remolque,
antes de su uso. Amarre la cuerda al “enganche rapido” gue esta en la parte delantera
del tube..Entre usos, controle regularmente la conexión de la cuerda de arrastre al
enganche para asegurarse que sea la orrecta. Una desconeccion subita puede ser pelig-
rosa tanto para el operador del tube como para los ocupantes de la lancha.
2.-Use una cuerda con resistencia suciente para arrastrar su TUBE. Los tubos in-
ables ejercen una gran fuerza de arrastre en el agua, generando de esa manera una
gran tensión a la cuerd_. En algunas circunstancias mayor aun que el esqui. Es por ello
que recomendamos a usted el uso de una cuerda diseñada especialmente para arrastrar
tubes. NUNCA use una soga o cuerdo de arrastre hecha de, o compesta de materials
elásticos. El efecto de estiramiento y latigazo de este tipo de cuerdas representa un
serio riesgo para los ocupantes de la embarcacion. Su distribuidor OBRIEN podra ase-
sorarlo con la cuerda adecuada. Después de su uso inspeccione la cuerda por posibles
deterioros. Reemplacela si esta deteriorada. La cuerda debe tener al menos una

longitud de 15 mts. (75 pies) pero no exceder los 23mts (75 pies) de longitud.
3.- Cuando use su TUBE, siempre use un salvavidas aprobado por la Guardia Costera
para ese tipo de actividad.
4.- Nunca use este ni ningun otro inable si los ocupantes del tube o el conductor de la
embarcacion han estado consumiendo alcohol o cualquier tipo de drogas.
5.- Guiese por los reglas basicas del esqui: Tenga siempre en la lancha un observador
(ademas del conductor); tenga y use bandera de señalizacion de esquiador caido; coor-
dine señales de comunicación entre el observadory el ocupante de tube
6.- Remolque el TUBE a velocidades seguras: No exceda los 40 km/h (25mph) con
adultos y 24 km/h (15moh) con los niños.
7.- Inspeccione area a recorrer antes de usar el tube para evitar troncos u otros obs-
táculos que puedan representar un peligro.
8.- El conductor de la embracacion es quien controla el recorrido. Mantengase alejado
de piedras, muelles botes y cuaquier otro obstáculo que pudieran lastimar al operador
del tube.
9.- Nunca intente saltos o maniobras riesgosas con su tube. Nunca comeince su recor-
ridodesde arriba de un muelle u otra supercie fuera del agua. Si se remolca mas de un
tube, evite los choques entre los tubes.
10.- Los usuarios del tube no deben atarse al tube o a su cobertura. Nunca coloque sus
brazos o piernas a traves de las cintas del sistema de remolque o de las manijas. Nunca
calce sus manos o pies debajo de la cobertura o entre la cobertura y el tube.
11.- Los usuarios del tube deben mantener sus pies y piernas en alto y fuera del agua.
La fuerza del agua puede voltear al usuario y causarle lesiones.
INFLADO Y ARMADO
Siga cuidadosamente las instrucciones de inado/armado impresas en el tube, inando
primero la camara mas pequeña, insertando luego el tube dentro de la cobertura, y
recien desqués inando la camara principal a traves de la Válvula Boston (a rosca)
Para inar su tube, utilice cualquier inador de gran volume y baja presion. Usted
puede utilizar el INFLADOR DE 12 VOLTS OBRIEN o cualquiera de las bombas de
pie o manuales del Mercado.. No utilice para su inado un compresor o aire de una
estacion de servicio o gaselinera. Asegurese que la válvula Boston y su tapa esten
rmemente ajustadas. Para desinar su tube, desenrosque toda la Válvula Boston. Esto
permitira la salida del aitre mas rapida y fácilmente. A continuación desine la camara
pequeña.
CONECCION DE LA CUERDA DE ARRASTRE – Su tube esta equipado con un
“conector rapido” jado permanentemente a la cinta da remolque delantera. Para co-
nector correctamente su tube a la cuerda de arrastre, deslice la gaza de la cuerda en el
gancho del “conector rapido” asegurándose que la cuerda esta correctamente colocada
y asegurada en la cavidad del gancho. (Obseve el dibujo abajo). Este conector debe ser
regularmente inspeccionado entre usos para asegurarse su correcto posicionamiento.
MONTAJE DELASIENTO – El asiento inable (incluido en el modelo Delta Dart
solamente) esta diseñado para aumentar su confort. Ine el asiento a traves de las vál-
vulas provistas. Asegurese de empujar las valvulas rmemente en sus lugares. Coloque
el asiento en el area central de su tube. Utilice entonces el gancho y gaza autoadhsivos

para asegurarlo en su lugar. Para hacer esto, quite el papel de protección y je los
lados adhesivos al asiento y al piso interno del cobertor o al anillo interior del tube.
El uso de este producto y la participación en el deporte implican potenciales riesgos de
lesiones o muerte.
• No lo utilice a velocidades que excedan la capacidad del usuario. La velocidad de la
lancha nunca debe exceder los 32 km/h para los adultos y 24 para los niños
• Este producto nunca debe ser usado por los niños, expecto bajo la supervisión de un
adulto.
• Este producto no es un salvavidas
• Utilice siempro un salvavidas aprobado por la Guardia Costera Tipo III (PFD)
• Nunca coloque las muñecas o los pies a traves de las manijas o el arnes de arrastre.
Asegurese que el cabo de arrastre esta lejos de cualquier parte del cuerpe antes o
durante su uso.
• El usuario debe mantener los pies fuera del agua.
• El conductor de la embaración de remolque es responsable del remolque, ya que el
tube no puede ser controlado por el usuario. Siempre tenga ademas del conductor, otra
persona como observador
• El conductor de la embarcación debera evitar conducer a excesiva velocidad y virajes
bruscos que puedan causar que el tube se vuelque abruptamente, causando serias le-
sions al usuario.
• No remolque el tube en agues poco profundas o cerca de la costa, muelles, palos,
nadadores u otros botes.
• No exceda el numero usuarios que recomienda el fabricante para su tube
• Use un cabo de arrastre de al menos 660 kgrs. de fuerza de tensión para remolcar
una sola persona; de 1.044 kgrs. de fuerza de tensión promedio para remolcar dos
personas; de 1474 kgrs. De fuerza de tensión para remolcar tres personas y 1.804 kgrs.
de fuerza de tensión promedio para remolcar cuarto personas en un tubo inable. La
cuerda de arrestre debe tener un minimo de 15 mts, de longitud pero no debe exceder
los 23 mts. De longitud.
• No conduzca la embarcación o utilice el tube bajo la inuencia de drogas o alcohol.
