OPM-1 series folding propeller instructions
このたびは、OS.プロペラをお買い上げいただき、まことにありがとう
ございます。本製品はドローン用折り畳み式カーボンプロペラです。
この使用上の注意事項は、あなたや他の人々への危害や損害を未然に防止す
るためのものです。いずれも安全に関する重要な内容ですので必ず守ってくだ
さい。常に安全を心がけてモーターの出力を軽視しないこと。プロペラを安全
に使用するのはあなた自身の責任です。いつも注意深く分別ある行動をして正
しく安全に使用してください。
回転しているプロペラには絶対に触れないでください。ケガをする恐れ
があります。また、高速回転しているプロペラは目視できません。
プロペラの回転範囲を十分に把握したうえで取り扱ってください。
必ず限界推力以下で使用してください。ブレードが飛散してケガをする
恐れがあります。
This is a folding carbon propeller for drones. It is of vital
importance to read safety instructions and warnings mentioned
below and strictly adhere to the advice contained therein.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
This propeller is only for drones. Do not use it for any other
purposes.
Start a motor with a propeller only after mounting it on a
drone, otherwise it may cause a serious injury.
Select a motor with right output and KV value, which matches
the propeller. Failing to do so may cause a serious injury by
the broken propeller.
Discard any propeller which has become split, cracked, nicked
or otherwise rendered unsafe. Never attempt to repair such a
propeller: destroy it. Do not modify a propeller in any way.
Attach a propeller firmly to a motor with right size screws. In
case the diameter of motor shaft and propeller fixing hole is
different, use an accessory sleeve to avoid vibration and
malfunction.
Make sure that the propeller fixing screws are properly
fastened and blade hinge pin are not loose before each flight.
It may result in clash landing.
Use the genuine hinge pins to fix the propeller blades. Using
other bolts may cause the blades broken.
Remove a propeller, a propeller adapter and any parts
possibly contact the motor before setting an ESC and a motor
to avoid an accidental injury.
Constructing and operating a drone requires deep technical
knowledge and careful operation for safety. Incomplete,
careless assembling, and irresponsible operation may cause
serious damage and injury to a property and a human body.
Do not touch a broken propeller with a bare hand, otherwise it
may cause a serious injury.
Follow instruction manual of a motor, an ESC, and any related
parts, which consist of a drone.
Never touch, or allow any object to come into contact with the
rotating propeller. The rotating high speed propeller is invisible,
so always keep in mind the area of rotating propeller.

搭載前に起動するとケガをする恐れがあります。
モーターはプロペラに合った正しい大きさ(出力とKV値)のものを使用し
てください。プロペラが破損しケガをする恐れがあります。

ないでください。また改 造をしないでください。飛散してケガをする恐れ
があります。
プロペラは適合するビスを使って、確実にモーターに取り付けてくださ
い。また、モーターの軸径とプロペラの穴径が異なる場合には、付属のス
リーブを使用してください。振動が発生し、故障の原因となる恐れがあり
ます。
飛行前にプロペラ取付けビスが確実に締まっている事、ドラッグボルト
(ブレード固定ボルト)が緩んでいない事を再度確認してください。
飛行中にプロペラ取付けビスまたはブレード固定ボルトが緩み、墜落の
危険性があります。
ドラッグボルトはお買い上げのプロペラ専用のものを組み込んでありま
す。市販のボルトを使用しないでください。ブレードが飛散してケガをす
る恐 れがあります。
スピードコントローラー(ESC)やモーターなどのセッティングをする場
合は、プロペラやプロペラアダプター等の回転する部品は必ずはずして
ください。またモーターの回転部分に接触する可能性のある部品等もは
ずしてください。不意の起動でケガをする恐れがあります。
ドローンを製作したり操縦したりする場合、充分な技術面の理解度、注
意深い操縦など、特に安全面での配慮を要します。不完全またはずさん
な組立て、不注意な操縦は行わないでください。器物、人体への重大な
損傷という結果をまねく場合があります。
破損したプロペラ(特に破断面)は素手では触れないでください。ケガを
する恐 れがあります。
モーターやESCその他、ドローンを構成する部品の取り扱いについて
は、それぞれの説明書に従ってください。
この表示を無視して誤った取り扱いをする
と、使用者または他の人が死亡または重傷
を負う可能性が想定される場合。
または、軽傷、物的損害が発生する可能性
が高い場合。
警告
この表示を無視して誤った取り扱いをする
と、使用者または他の人が重傷を負う可能
性は少ないが、傷害を負う危険が想定さ
れる場合。ならびに物的損害のみの発生
が想定される場合。
Remember that your motor is not a “toy”, but a highly efficient
machine whose power is capable of harming you, or others, if it is
misused or abused. As owner, you alone are responsible for the safe
operation of your propeller, so act with discretion and care at all times.
Pay careful attention to the advices with the following headings.

1、取付け、調整
このプロペラは、正転用と逆転用の2枚のセットです。プロペラが正しい方
向に回転するように注意して取り付けてください。

プロペラをモ ーター へ取り付 ける際 には 、摩 耗 や傷 が 無い 健 全な ボルトを
用 い て 、次 の ト ル ク で 締 付 を 行 っ て く だ さ い 。

(3)プロペラ展開時の注意
収納していたプロペラを展開する際は、両方のプロペラの先端とモーター
軸の中心が同一線上になる様に展開してください。
プロペラが「へ」の字の様になっていると、振動の原因となります。
(4)ドラッグボルトの調整
ドラッグ力（折り畳みトルク）は、一般的に運転時間に伴って次第に小さく
なります。必要なドラッグ力が不足した場合には、次の方法によって再調
整 を 行 ってください 。
ドラッグボルトを分解する。
ドラッグ ボルトとナイロンナットに付 着したねじロック剤の 粉を 、乾 いた布
で拭き取る。
ドラッグボルトのねじ部分に、ロックタイト263または相当品を塗布する。
必要なドラッグ力が 発生するまで、ドラッグボルトを元通りに締め付ける。
ねじロック剤が硬化するまで放置する。

ドラッグ力は小さすぎると起動時と停止時にアンバランス振動が発生しやすく
なります。折りたたみ易さも考慮して必要なドラッグ力を設定してください。

1. Attachment and adjustment
(1) Rotation of propeller
The propeller set consists of two types of propellers: standard rotation
type and reverse rotation type. Attach the propeller to the motor to
make it rotate in the right direction.
(2) Attaching propellers to the motor
Use new screws to attach propellers to the motor with the fastening
torque shown below.

(3) Note on opening propeller blades
When you open the propeller blades by hand, align the both blade tips
and the motor axis to avoid vibration.
(4) Adjustment of hinge pins
Folding out/back torque becomes less as operation time goes by. In
case you find the folding out/back torque is weakening and need to be
stronger re-adjust the torque as follows.
Remove the blade hinge pins from the bracket.
Remove residue of thread locker from the nylon nuts and bolt threads.
Apply high strength thread locker, LOCTITE®263 or equivalent to the
threads of bolts.
Fasten the blade hinge pins until you acquire needed folding out/back
torque.
Wait until the applied thread locker dries.

The motors tend to produce vibration when folding out/back torque of
propeller blades is too small.
