TV Connection
How to connect to your TV
The unit can be connected to your TV by using an audio video cable
(3 RCA to 3 RCA supplied). This will allow any picture to appear on
your television screen once you have chosen the correct input on your
television - please check your TV for any additional settings that need to
be altered.
To connect the karaoke unit, plug one of the RCA cable ends into the
‘Video’ port of the karaoke machine (Ref.), and plug the other two
RCA cable ends into Audio Right (Ref.) and Audio Left (Ref.).
Connect according to colour code.
The picture will then be displayed on your screen and audio via the
karaoke unit.

Plug the 12V adapter for the power cable into the back of the
system labelled‘DC In’ (Ref.) and the power supply into the
mains. Alternatively, you can power the unit by inserting 8 x
C batteries into the battery compartment at the back of the
machine (Ref.).
Press the ‘Power’ button to switch on the unit (Ref.).
To select a mode, press the‘Source’button (Ref.). Press multiple
times to scroll through the available modes and until your
required option displays.
The unit has the following modes:
CD - Audio Player
U - USB Play
Ah - AUX In
Bt - Bluetooth Connection
Please note that only CD+G discs show song lyrics on your TV
screen.
To turn the unit o, press the‘Power’ button (Ref.). To turn o
fully, switch o at the mains.
The cord must be out of reach of children.

Please note that only CD+G discs show song lyrics on your TV screen.
To select CD mode, press the‘Source’button (Ref.) repeatedly
until “CD”displays on the display screen (Ref.).
Push the‘Open/Close’ button on the CD disc drawer (Ref.) and
insert the audio disc into the compartment by placing the CD
over the CD drive middle placement. Once loaded successfully,
close the CD compartment door by clicking back to the unit.
The disc will start playing automatically. If no disc is loaded, “No”
will be displayed on the screen.
Use the ‘Play/Pause’ button (Ref.) to pause or resume playing.
Use the ‘Previous’ (Ref.) or ‘Next’ (Ref.) buttons to skip
between tracks. To fast forward or rewind a track, press and hold
down these buttons. Use the ‘Stop’ button (Ref.) to stop a
track.
Use the ‘Repeat’ button (Ref.) to repeat a track that is currently
playing.
How to programme songs to play in a preselected order
Stop the CD by pressing the ‘Stop’ button (Ref.).
When the CD has stopped, press the ‘Program’ button (Ref.)
until the program LED ashes next to the button. The track will
then read “0” on the display.
Press the ‘Previous’ or ‘Next’ buttons (Ref./15) to scroll to a
selected programme number. Press the ‘Prog’ button to conrm
number selection.
Repeat the above step to program up to 20 tracks into the
desired order.

USB Port
Connect the USB into the USB port (Ref.).
To select your mode, press the ‘Source’ button (Ref.). Press
multiple times to scroll through to “U” which indicates USB
mode.
Once on USB mode, the music will load and play automatically.
Use the ‘Previous’ or ‘Next’ buttons (Ref./15) to skip between
tracks. To fast forward or rewind a track, press and hold the
‘Previous’ or ‘Next’ buttons.
Use the ‘Play/Pause’ button (Ref.) to pause or resume playing.
Use the ‘Stop’button (Ref.) to stop a track.
Use the ‘Repeat’ button (Ref.) to repeat a track that is currently
playing.
To program songs to play in a particular order, follow the same
guidance for the CD function as on page 6.
AUX In
You can connect your phone or tablet with an AUX 3.5mm cable
that connects to the AUX jack on the rear of the unit (Ref.).
Insert the audio cable. To select your mode, press the ‘Source’
button (Ref.) repeatedly to scroll through the available modes.
AUX mode is indictated when “Ah” is displayed on the screen.

You can pair and connect any Bluetooth-enabled portable
device with the machine through Bluetooth wireless connection.
Select Bluetooth by selecting the ‘Source’button (Ref.)
repeatedly to scroll through the available modes. Bluetooth
mode is indicated by“Bt” displaying on the screen.
Go to the Bluetooth settings on your phone and select the
“Oakcastle Party” to connect to. Once connected, the unit will
play a short sound and the display screen will remain lit up.
To play music, you will need to select the album or playlist from
your phone, but once selected you can then use the ‘Previous’
(Ref.) or ‘Next’ (Ref.) buttons to select the previous or next
tracks.
You can use the the ‘Play/Pause’ buttons (Ref.) to play or pause
a track.
To disconnect the Bluetooth function, press and hold the ‘Play/
Pause’ (Ref.) for a few seconds.

Microphone Operation
MIC Dial (Ref.7) - Adjust the microphone volume control on
your unit to obtain the best performance. To avoid microphone
feedback, do not hold the microphone too close to the speaker.
ECHO Dial (Ref.8) - Adjust the echo control on your unit to
enhance the singer’s voice for a concert hall eect.
BALANCE Dial (Ref.11) - Allows you to eliminate the lead singer’s
voice by rotating the ‘Balance’ dial left when playing multiplex
recordings, or eliminate the music when rotating the dial right.
AVC - Auto Voice Control (for multiplex discs only) (Ref.12) - The
AVC button allows you to replace the lead singers voice with
your own when playing a multiplex recording. The vocals on the
multiplex recording will be muted when using the microphone.
When the microphone is not in use, the pre-recorded vocals will
resume on a multiplex disc.
VOLUME Dial (Ref.9) - adjust the volume using this dial.
Light Operation
On the front of the unit is a light display that you can adjust by
using the ‘Light’ button (Ref.). Press the button multiple times
to visually see the options. You can also press the light display to
‘o ’.

A-B Operation
A/B (Ref.) - This function will allow the user to repeat a desired
portion of playback.
To choose the part of the CD or MP3 track you would like to
playback, press the ‘A-B’ button (Ref.) to mark point A.
Follow by pressing the‘A-B’ button again to mark point B.
The track section will repeatedly playback between these points.
To cancel the playback and to continue watching or listening to
the track press the A/B button (Ref.) a third time.
Note: This function works for MP3 and CD, but not for CDG or
Kodak picture CD discs. For CD and MP3, the start and end point
of the A-B selection must be within the same track.
