OPERATION
• Power on blue button unit by
pressing and holding for 3-seconds
the rear button (with bumps).
• Green and amber lites will
illuminate. When the amber lite
goes out, release the button. The
green lite will begin blinking while
awaiting pair with other unit(s).
• Repeat power on procedure with
other unit(s), in any sequence.
Once paired and ready for use,
green lites will glow continuously.
• To power down, press and hold
for 3 seconds the front, smooth
button. Green lite will go out.
Notes:
• There must be at least one gray button unit paired with the blue button unit in order for a third, black button “listener” unit to join.
• If during normal operation, the green lite begins to blink, this indicates low battery.
Use and Application:
Encourage your friends to clip the units on a
collar, near the head, which brings the
microphone to within inches of the talker’s
mouth instead of 36 inches across the table.
The clarity of the speech depends only on the
pickup, and will be the same even 20 feet away!
When clipped to a mask, the microphone
automatically picks up the voice within inches of
the mouth.
In today’s world you don’t have to be a surgeon
to take advantage of greater clarity when you
can’t see the talker’s face. Tip: While wearing earphones, people tend to speak
more quietly. Remind all users to keep their voices up.
In extremely noisy places, a further increase in
speech understanding can be had by holding
the unit nearer the chin. In extremely noisy conditions, Ear-sealing
earphones can provide improved
clarity: Even in 90 dBA SPL noise a
single earphone is often enough,
leaving your other ear open.
• Plug the earphone into the earphone
jack. Place earphone into your ear
canal
• Twist the earphone into the ear canal
while inserting, until outside noise is
blocked out
If you wear a hearing aid, the HearHook tube outlet will provide
clear sound to the hearing aid. Adjust the volume for comfort.
HearHook earphones provide excellent
clarity in moderate noise levels, while
leaving the ears open to other sounds
Place the HearHook earphone over the
ear as shown, then bend the sound tube
to bring the sound outlet near, but not
inside, the ear canal.
