1. Introduction
Thank you for choosing to buy the Oceanic Fragrance Pump, please take the time to read these
instructions before you begin as they contain important information about the installation and
maintenance requirements.
2. Safety Precautions
For commercial installations ensure signage is used to display what type of aroma is used in the
case of users with allergies.

Steam Line
i. Install the pump in close proximity to the steam generator with a suitable mains power
supply for the mains adapter. Note that the fragrances container can be positioned at a
maximum of 2 meters below the pump.
ii. Fix the fragrance pump onto a wall using screws and plugs.
iii. Use the 2m silicon hose (Supplied) to connect the fragrance container to the fragrance inlet
port.
iv. Use the 3m silicon hose provided connect from the Essence outlet to the steam line by
inserting the 15mm Tee as the gure 3
v. Attach the temperature sensor to steam pipe using a cable tie or cotton wool and tape then
connect the pin into the socket on the fragrance pump.
vi. Connect the adapter to the power sockets. Connect the adapter to power supply.
vii. If you have chosen the FOD (fragrance on demand) button. Connect the FOB button to FOD
socket on the fragrance dispenser and mount the button inside or outside the steam room
so the user can decide when they want fragrance.

8. Testing and operation
This pump can be set up to work automatically - a thermostat is installed on the steam pipe which
only allows the pump to operate when the steam generator is producing steam. The amount of
aroma introduced into the steam line is controlled by the RUN and INTERVAL settings.
The pump can also be controlled via a button (fragrance on demand) this button is water proof
and can be installed inside the steam room. When the button is pushed the pump will be turned
on or o. This gives the option for users to choose between having aroma or not, which is useful in
commercial installations where users may like or dislike aroma.
The amount of aroma introduced into the steam line is controlled by the RUN and INTERVAL
settings.
i. Fill the fragrance container with a diluted solution of fragrance.
ii. Turn on the power supply
iii. Press the“on/o” key (Power LED illuminated) - the default settings is run time 5 seconds with a 1
minute interval.
iv. Turn on the steam generator, when the temperature of the steam line reaches 85oC the
temperature indicator LED will be illuminated and the pump will operate.
v. Note that for the rst operation it may require one or two operations of the pump before the
fragrance enters the steam line depending upon the distance to T piece. (note the pump is self
priming and does not require bleeding in.
vi. Depending on the size of the steam room and the concentration of fragrance required you
can set the run and interval periods to suit. Press the run button to choose the pump working
time; 5 seconds, 10 seconds or 15 seconds, the relevant indicator LED will be illuminate. Press
the interval button to choose the interval time say 1 minutes, 2 minutes and three minutes (the
relevant indicator LED will be illuminated)
Using Steam aroma concentrates the typical dilution rate is 1 part concentrate to 20 parts of water
but you may also vary this to suit user requirements – increase concentration for a more intense
aroma.
