2012/19/UE. The picture beside, reproduced also on the
product, means that the product, at the end of its lifetime,

be taken to a centre of electrical equipment collection or to

Keep this manual for future reference.
The warranty does not cover damage resulting from improper use of the
information contained in this manual. Installation and maintenance must
be conducted by technical personnel only.
In case of non-authorized personnel have unduly opened the product,
OFFEL s.r.l. does not guarantee the defects of it. Whoever will bring in
modications that result in a no product compliance shall be subject to the
penalties prescribed in art. 15 D.Lgs. 194/2007 - updated to D.Lgs. 80/2016.

Prodotti professionali che permettono di distribuire le trasmissioni
DVB-S/S2/S2X ricevute da satellite rimodulate all’interno della
canalizzazione TV in un massimo di 4 MUX DVB-T o DVB-C su
canali RF adiacenti (es.: can. E21, E22, E23 ed E24).
Professional SAT-DTT transmodulators that allow to receive
DVB-S/S2/S2X SAT transmissions and distribute them in a
COFDM TV system within 4 adjacent DVB-T or DVB-C muxes max
(e.g.: ch. E21, E22, E23 and E24).
• Modelli a 2 o 4 ingressi che consentono di ricevere altrettanti transponder SAT.
• Modelli Free To Air o codicati (1 o 2 slot per FlexCAM).
• I moduli Common Interface consentono l’impiego di 1 o 2 FlexCAM
(a seconda dei modelli) e relative card per decodicare segnali criptati.
• Ogni mux di uscita può contenere mediamente 5/6 programmi SD
oppure 3/4 programmi HD rimodulati.
• Ogni servizio selezionato in ingresso può essere distribuito su un
qualsiasi mux d’uscita e decodicato o dall’una o dall’altra CAM.
• Per ogni servizio è possibile impostare l’LCN (numero da digitare sul
telecomando per selezionare il canale. Es.: 1 per RAI1, 6 per ITALIA1,...).
• Mantenimento dati in caso di interruzione dell’alimentazione.
• Alimentabili con alimentatori serie S/D-A (da acquistare a parte).
• Provvisti di due attacchi per barra DIN standard.

Dopo aver scaricato il  estrarre il contenuto della cartella tramite
un software apposito (es. WinRAR).
Seguire le istruzioni del   contenuto all’interno della cartella
estratta ed installare il software sul pc;
• Download the Oel Manager software from the Oel website, at:

by clicking on the link “ ... programming software OFFEL MANAGER”.
After downloading the , extract the contents of the folder using
an ad hoc software (e.g. WinRAR).
Follow the instructions of the  contained in the extracted folder
and install the software on the PC;
DESCRIZIONE LED LED DESCRIPTIONS
• LED DC (A, B, C, D): indica la presenza sul connettore di
ingresso della tensione necessaria per alimentare l’LNB;
• LED ST (F, G, H, I): lampeggia quando si è sintonizzati
su un transponder ed il tuner è regolarmente agganciato.
In caso contrario il LED rimane acceso.
• PWR (M): indica la presenza dell’alimentazione.
• LED DC (A, B, C, D): indicates the presence on input
connector of the tension for LNB power supply;
• LED ST (F, G, H, I): ashes when the transmodulator
is tuned on a transponder and tuner is regularly
locked. Otherwise, the LED remains on.
• PWR (M): indicates network current.
RACCOMANDAZIONI DI SICUREZZA
Tutte le avvertenze sul prodotto e le istruzioni d’uso devono essere
rispettate fedelmente. Non utilizzare accessori diversi da quelli indicati
dal produttore in quanto possono essere indice di pericolo.
Non collocare il prodotto su supporti instabili. Il prodotto potrebbe
cadere, causando lesioni alle persone e gravi danni al prodotto stesso.
Installare l’amplicatore in un luogo idoneo, con su󰀩ciente aerazione.
Non coprire le fessure di ventilazione. In assenza di aerazione forzata,
mantenere una distanza di almeno 20 cm sui lati inferiore e superiore del
dispositivo per una corretta ventilazione. Evitare l’installazione in pros-
simità di riserve d’acqua o in luoghi con alta concentrazione di umidità,
soleggiati o particolarmente polverosi. Il prodotto deve essere installato
lontano da fonti di calore: l’eccessiva temperatura di esercizio riduce la
vita del prodotto e può causare malfunzionamenti.
Non collegare il dispositivo alla rete elettrica qualora esso risulti dan-
neggiato in una delle sue parti. Il cavo di alimentazione deve essere
protetto in modo da non essere calpestato, schiacciato o tranciato. Non
sovraccaricare le prese a muro, le prolunghe o le prese sull’apparecchio
per evitare rischi di cortocircuiti o incendio. L’utilizzo di prese multiple è
vivamente sconsigliato. La presa della rete elettrica cui viene collegata la
spina di alimentazione del prodotto deve essere facilmente accessibile in
quanto dispositivo di sezionamento.
Per la corretta realizzazione dell’impianto consultare le prescrizioni di
sicurezza contenute nella norma EN 60728-11 e nella guida CEI 100-7.
NON tentare di riparare il prodotto da soli poiché l’apertura o la rimozione
dei coperchi può esporre a tensioni pericolose ed a rischio di shock elettrico.
Per l’assistenza rivolgersi solamente a personale qualicato.
SAFETY WARNINGS
All warnings and instructions for use have to be faithfully respected.
The use of accessories not recommended by the manufacturer can cause
damage to the product.
Do not install the module on instable items. A fall can cause physical or
material damage.
Place the product in a t place, with sucient ventilation. The ventilation
holes should not be obstructed. In the absence of forced ventilation, keep
a distance of at least 20 cm on the lower and upper sides of the device
for proper ventilation. The product needs to be installed in a safe place,
far from water and splashes; do not install it under water reservoirs or
similar. Avoid installation in humid, sunny or very dusty place.
In order to prevent overheating that may cause product malfunctions,
heat producing items may not be placed upon or near the module.
Do not connect the item to the grid if it results damaged in any parts.
Protect the power supply cable: never step on, press or sever it.
Never overload the power lines, wall sockets or extension cables: an
overvoltage on the mains supply can cause shortcircuits or re. Please
avoid multiple sockets.
The wall socket, which the product plug is connected to, has to be easily
reachable inasmuch as disconnecting device.
In order to assure a system compliant with safety standards, please act
according to EN 60728-11 and CEI 100-7.
Please, DO NOT try to x the product. Opening or removing covers may
expose you to dangerous voltages and to the risk of electric shock.

ISTRUZIONI PER L’INSTALLAZIONE INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
• Installare il transmodulatore rispettando le raccomandazioni di sicurezza;
• ssare il transmodulatore su barra DIN mediante gli appositi attacchi;
• collegare gli ingressi del transmodulatore alle uscite Legacy di un mul-
tiswitch o di un LNB. E’ possibile anche l’impiego di LNB HVHV;
• nel caso di modelli Common Interface, inserire le FlexCAM con le relative
smartcard negli appositi slot (come descritto nella pagina seguente);
• se necessario, collegare all’ingresso RF (Q) il segnale proveniente dal
centralino TV o da un altro dispositivo da collegare in cascata;
• collegare il cavo RJ45 del PC al connettore LAN (P) del transmodulatore;
• connettere il modulo all’alimentatore della serie S/D-A ... o in serie al
modulo precedente collegando l’apposito cavetto al connettore di
alimentazione (E);
• procedere alla programmazione mediante software gratuito O󰀨el
Manager (disponibile sul sito www.o󰀨el.it/download/software);
• collegare il misuratore di campo all’uscita RF (R) e regolare il livello
d’uscita dei segnali modulati tramite software. Se in un impianto sono
presenti più transmodulatori, i livelli RF dovranno essere uguali fra loro.
• Install the transmodulator in compliance with safety recommendations;
• install the transmodulator on a DIN rail using the specic mounting
clips;
• connect each transmodulator input to just as many Legacy outputs of a
multiswitch or LNB. Use of a LNB HVHV is also possible;
• insert FlexCAMs and cards into the specic slots (only for C.I. models);
• if necessary, connect the cable coming from the TV amplier or from
another device to be connected in cascade to RF IN connector (Q);
• connect PC’s RJ45 cable to transmodulator LAN connector (P);
• connect the transmodulator Power connector (E) to power supply unit
or to another module using the specic cable (supplied in the packa-
ge);
• congure the transmodulator using Oel Manager software (free
download from www.oel.it/download/software);
• after transmodulator setting, connect the eld meter to RF output (R)
and adjust the signals output level by software. If there are several
transmodulators, the RF output levels have to be equalized.
