1 CHANNEL DMX SWITCH
The 1 CHANNEL DMX SWITCH is a power switch controlled by DMX intended to activate
FX machines which require electricity to be activated. / El 1 CHANNEL DMX SWITCH es un

que requieran corriente eléctica para activarse.

1 CHANNEL DMX SWITCH
1. Place the 1 CHANNEL DMX SWITCH device on a fl at, stable surface. Connect the power supply
using the Power Input (1). Make sure that the power cable supports the power of the/s machine/s
of FX you want to control.
2. Make sure that the power switch (7) is in OFF position.
3. Connect the DMX cable to the DMX IN connector (4). You can use either of the 3-pin or 5-pin DMX
IN connectors according to your needs.
4. You can connect other machines and DMX devices using the DMX OUT connector (5).
5. Connect the machines to which you want to control the “POWER OUT”(3). The 1 CHANNEL DMX
SWITCH supports up to 20A resistive load, or 15A inductive load.
6. Switch on (7) the device 1 CHANNEL DMX SWITCH.
7. If the 1 CHANNEL DMX SWITCH PACK is receiving DMX signal, the led on “SIGNAL” (9) will light up.
8. Assign the OPERATING DMX channel (13) using the buttons “UP” and “DOWN”. Make sure that
the channel selected is free.
SAFETY CHANNEL
9. The 1 CHANNEL DMX SWITCH is equipped with a safety channel (10) that protects the operating
channel against any unintended activation. Assign the channel you want to use as the safety
channel by using the “UP” and “DOWN” buttons on the safety channel. Make sure that the
channel selected is free. The operating channel is subject to the permission of the safety channel.
10. To unlock the safety channel, your DMX controller must send a value between 40% and 60% to
the security channel. When the safety channel is unlocked, the “ARMED” (12) led will light on and
the operating channel is ready to be activated.
11. After activating the desired channel, you should enable again the safety mode by sending to the
safety channel a value outside of the 40-60%.
12. The 1 CHANNEL DMX SWITCH also allows you to work without safety channel. To disable this
safety channel, simply press the “ENABLE / DISABLE” button (11) to disable position. The screen
of the safety channel will display “DIS” and the led “ARMED”(12) will be lit permanently. To re-
enable the security channel press again the button “ENABLE / DISABLE”.

toma DMX de 3 pin y otra de 5 pin.
4. Puede conectar otras máquinas y dispositivos DMX utilizando la toma de salida DMX “DMX OUT”
(5).
5. Conecte la/s máquina/s que desea controlar a la toma “POWER OUT”(3). El 1 CHANNEL DMX
SWITCH soporta hasta 20A de carga resistiva o 15A de carga inductiva.
6. Encienda el dispositivo 1 CHANNEL DMX SWITCH (7).
7. Si el 1 CHANNEL DMX SWITCH PACK está recibiendo señal DMX se encenderá el led “SIGNAL”(9).
8. Asigne el canal DMX operativo (13) mediante los botones “UP” y “DOWN”. Asegúrese de que el
canal seleccionados esté libre.

9. El 1 CHANNEL DMX SWITCH dispone de un canal de seguridad (10) que protege el canal
operativo contra activaciones no deseadas. Asigne el canal que quiere utilizar como canal de
seguridad mediante los botones “UP” y “DOWN” del canal de seguridad. Asegúrese de que el
canal seleccionado esté libre. El canal operativo queda sujeto al permiso del canal de seguridad.
10. Para desbloquear el canal de seguridad, su controlador DMX debe enviar al canal de seguridad
un valor entre el 40% y 60%. Cuando el canal de seguridad está desbloqueado se enciende el
led “ARMED” (12) y el canal operativos está listo para ser activado.
11. Después de activar el canal deseado vuelva a habilitar el modo seguro enviando al canal de
seguridad un valor fuera del 40-60%.
12. El 1 CHANNEL DMX SWITCH también permite trabajar sin canal de seguridad. Para inhabilitarlo
pulse el botón “ENABLE / DISABLE” (11). En la pantalla del canal de seguridad aparecerá “dis”
y el led “ARMED”(12) estará encendido permanentemente. Para volver a habilitar el canal de
seguridad pulse de nuevo el botón “ENABLE / DISABLE”.

1. Before you turn off the 1 CHANNEL DMX SWITCH make sure that the security channel is enabled.
2. Disconnect the machines connected to the 1 CHANNEL DMX SWITCH.
3. Turn Off and disconnect the 1 CHANNEL DMX SWITCH.
