1Introduction
1.1Function
Thisproductisaflashdrivetorealizetheaccesscontrolofdatathrough
fingerprint,whichiscommonlyknownasfingerprintflashdrive. It is
divided into three parts: 1) CD-ROM partition: the partition isusedto
storemanagementsoftware;2)Securitypartition:thepartitionneedsto
beidentifiedbyfingerprintorpasswordtoaccesstoreadandwrite;3)
Publicpartition:thispartitionisusedthesameasordinaryflashdrive. 

1.3Interfaceandindicatorlight

1.3.1USBconnector
USBsocketforconnectingthecomputerisusuallyhiddenintheproduct.
Pushthepush-pullmodulewhenusing.Whentheflashdriveisremoved
from the computer's USB master, the USB connector is automatically
retractedintotheproduct.
1.3.2Indicator
Indicatorisusedfordisplayingthestatusoftheencryptedpartitionand
thestatusofthefingerprintrecognition.Therearethreestates:

1)Lastinglight:theencryptedpartitionisunlockedinthedisplaystate
whichcanreadandwrite.
2)Off:encryptedpartitionlockedinahiddenstateisnotaccessible.
3)Twiceblinks:theerroroffingerprintrecognition. 
Precautions:
When the management software is open, the error of fingerprint
recognitionisdisplayedbythesoftwareinterfaceandtheindicatorwill
notflash.
1.3.3Push-pullmodule
It’susedtopushoutorretractUSBconnector.Inthestateontheleft
sideofFigure1,pressandholdthepush-pullmoduletopushin the
directionoftheUSBconnector,youcanpushtheUSBconnectoras
showninthestatusontherightsideofFigure1;inthestateontheright
sideofFigure1,themoduleispushedbackinthedirectionoftheUSB
connectorandtheUSBconnectorisautomaticallyretracted,asshownin
thestatusontheleftinFigure1.
1.3.4Fingerprintrecognitionarea
It’susedforfingerprintidentification.Putyourregisteredtoattachto
thisarea,flashdrivewillbeinfingerprintidentification.




Precautions:
Ifthefingerisdirtyortoowet,itmaycausefingerprints
nottobeidentified.
Iftheflashdriveisfloatingonthecomputer,it’sbetterto
stick slightly to the fingerprint identification, or using
other fingers gently to hold the flash drive to avoid
excessive force led to the USB connector at the bad
situation.

2FirstUse
Whenusingtheencryptedpartitionforthefirsttime,youneedto
registeryourpasswordandaddatleastonefingerprint.Thisoperation
requiresoperatingonaWindows7/8/10computer.Detailedstepsareas
follows:
2.1Computerconnecting
Asdescribedin1.3.3.,pushouttheUSBconnectorandinserttheUSB
intotheUSBportofthecomputer.
2.2Openmanagementsoftware 
AsshowninFigure2,opentheflashdriveanalogCDdrivepartition,
double-clickthe inside "UPro" executableprogramicon,and open the
managementsoftware. 
ThemanagementsoftwarecanrecognizeOSlanguageofthecomputer
automatically.ThescreenshotshowsinFigure3.Click"OK”andejectthe
dialogofUserRegister.Thescreenshotisasfollows:Figure4.
Precautions:
Whenthemanagementsoftwareisopened,itwillautomaticallylockthe
encrypted partition and reset the public partition, which will lead to
interruption of flash drive to read and write. Please do not open the
managementsoftwarewhenreadingandwritingdata.

2.3Registerpasswordandfingerprint
Register the password and add fingerprints according to the
informationofthemanagementsoftwareinterfacedisplayed.Afteryou
added the first fingerprint, as shown in Figure 5, you can close the
managementsoftwareandusetheflashdrive.Ofcourse,youcanadd
morefingerprints.

Precautions:
Whenaddingfingerprints,trytochangetheangleoffingerand
changethecontactpointoffingerandfingerprintrecognitionareaas
faraspossibleaccordingtothesoftwareprompt,whichcanhelpto
improvethesuccessrateoffingerprintrecognitioninfollow-upuse.
You’dbetterregisterapasswordandaddatleastonefingerprintat
thesametime.Donotcancelinthemiddletimetoavoidforgetting
thepassword,resultingintheencryptedpartitioncannotopen.

softwareexitautomatically.

3DailyUse
Donotneedtorunmanagementsoftwareinthedailyuseof
fingerprintflashdrive.Putthefingerprintflashdriveintothe
computer, it will show two partitions in general: analog CD drive
partitionandpublicpartition,asshowninFigure6.Youcanusethe
publicpartitionasthesameastheordinaryflashdrive.

Ifyouwanttoopentheencryptedpartition,youcanputyourfinger
totouchthefingerprintrecognitionarea,andtheencryptedpartition
will be displayed when it is done, as shown in Figure 7. Then the
fingerprintflashdrive lightwillalways beon.Once againpressthe
fingertofingerprintrecognitionarea,whenfingerprintrecognitionis
successful,theencryptedpartitionwillbehiddenagain,andonlytwo
visiblepartitions,asshowninFigure6,thenthefingerprintflashdrive
ontheindicatorlightwillbeoff.
Iftheindicatoronthefingerprint flash drive flashes twice when
recognizingthefingerprint,thenitmeansthefingerprintiswrong.
You can clean your finger or adjust the angle of your finger totry
again;oropenthemanagementsoftwaretore-addthefingerprintas
described in 2.2; or click on the hot area to unlock the encrypted
partitionasshowninFigure5.









4AdvancedSetting 
Whensettingthefingerprintandpasswordinthemanagement
software,youshouldpassthefingerprintidentificationorpassword
verificationbeforeuseasshowninFigure8.Clickingthehotspotof
"use password verification" can switch to the password verification
interface,asshowninFigure9.


modification, user deletion, language settings and other functions.

4.1Fingerprintmanagement
AsshowninFigure10,clickthe"Addafingerprint"button,youcan
addthefingerprintfollowthepromptsandaddupto8fingerprints.
As shown in Figure 10, right-click the fingerprint name, you can
renameanddeletefingerprints.


4.2Portionadjustment
AsshowninFigure11,inadvancedsettings,clickingthe"partition
adjustment" menu, after passing the fingerprint identification or
passwordverification,youcanenterthepageofpartitionadjustment,
asshowninFigure12.Inthisinterface,youcanusethemousetoclick
theslideronthelefttodraganddroptoadjustthecapacityof
encrypt partition and public partition, or you can directly putthe
capacityyouwantintherightsideandthecapacitywillautomatically
change.Theencryptedpartitioncapacitycanonlybeavailablefrom1%
to99%.

After the partition capacity value is adjusted, you can click the OK
buttontoformatthepartition.Afterthepartitionfinisheditwillpop
up the interface shown in Figure 13. Partition adjustment needsto
re-plugtheflashdrivebeforeit takeseffect.So Inthiscase,please
re-plugtheflashdrive.Ifyouclosethesoftwaredirectlyanddonot
re-plugtheflashdrive,youmayencounteravarietyofunusualerrors
likeFigure14shownwhenpressingthefingerprinttounlockorlock
theencryptedarea.

Precautions:
Partitionadjustmentwillreformattheflashdrive,andthedatain
encryptedpartitionandpublicpartitionwillbelost!Ifyouwantto
retainthedata,pleasedothebackupinadvance.
Afterthesuccessofthepartitionadjustment,re-plugtheflash
drive,oritmaycauseunpredictableerrorsandthedatasaved
beforemayalsobelost.

4.3Passwordchange
AsshowninFigure11,intheadvancedsettingspage,clickingonthe
"password"menu,afterpassingfingerprintidentificationorpassword
verification,youcanenterthepasswordmodificationpage,asshown
inFigure15.

4.4Userdeletion
AsshowninFigure11,intheadvancedsettingspage,clickingonthe
"Delete User" menu, after passing the fingerprint identification or
password verification, you can enter the user deletion interface, as
showninFigure16.InthisinterfaceshowninFigure16,clickthe
"Continue" button to clear all the user fingerprint and password
registered.Afterfinishingtheuserdeletion,thepromptinterfacewill
bedisplayedasshowninFigure17.ClicktheOKbuttontorestartthe
managementsoftware.


Precautions:
The user deletion function simply cleans the user fingerprint and
password registered and does not clear the data on the encrypted
partition and the public partition. Other users to re-register the
passwordandaddthefingerprintcanstillaccesstheoriginaldatain
theencryptedpartition.Ifyouneedtoclearthedata,pleasemanually
deletethefileorreformattheflashdrive.


4.5Languagesetting
As shown in Figure 11, in the advanced settings page, clicking the
"Language" menu, you can enter the language settings page, as
showninFigure18.Inthisinterface, clickthelanguagedrop-down
menuforlanguageselection,asshowninFigure19.Clickingthe"OK"
buttonafterselectingthelanguage,themanagementsoftwarewill
automatically exit and restart, the interface menu and prompt
languagewillswitchtotheselectedlanguage.
