Cautions
• Be sure the camera’s power is switched off before inserting or removing SD card or batteries.
• It is recommended to use new high-performance alkaline AA batteries or rechargeable bat-
teries, to help prevent acid discharge rotting in the battery depot.
• Make sure that the batteries are inserted correctly, matching what is shown on the battery
compartment. Make sure the polarities are correct.
• In the test mode, the camera will shut down automatically after 10 minutes if no key is
pressed. Please switch from OFF to TEST again if you want to continue.
• Please be sure that no power interrupt occurs during rmware upgrade, otherwise the
upgrade process could be interrupted incorrectly. If any fault occurs after improper upgrading
process and the camera stops function properly, please return the device to the seller for repair.
• When the power switch is ON, please DO NOT REMOVE the SD card or batteries, or discon-
nect the external DC power supply.
• When mounting the camera, avoiding temperature and motion disturbances from directly in
front of device within 10’, such as heat sources or foliage to prevent false triggering.
• Battery life will vary with operating temperature and number of images taken over time.
Typically, the camera will be able to capture several thousands images before the batteries die.

Product Introduction
1.1 The Introduction of Product
This trail camera for designed for monitoring animals by recording the movement of animals as
they pass by the infrared sensor. This devise can also be used as autonomic surveillance device
for guarding and recording unexpected intrusion to buildings and property. It can be triggered
by sudden change of ambient temperature caused by movement in a region of interest (ROI),
which is detected by a highly sensitive Passive Infrared (PIR) sensor, then taking pictures, and/
or video clips automatically.
1.2 Main Features:
• 60 degree camera lens.
• 16 Mega Pixels Color CMOS.
• The trigger time is 0.6 seconds (2GB SD Card).
• Equipped with a convenient 2.4 inch color screen, you can playback and browse stored
images and video, take photos manually, and set parameters of the devise.
• The maximum capacity of its memory card is up to 32GB.
• Waterproof rating of IP65.
• New energy-saving technology ensures longer standby time. If accompanied by a solar
power backup system, it can maintain power supply continuously.
• Performs in the most extreme temperatures from -22°F to 158°F

Setting UP And Connecting
If you are not familiar with the operation of this camera, the following instructions will help
you get a quick overview. Before doing any operation, please make sure you have loaded bat-
teries and plugged the SD card correctly.
2.1 Power supply
• To insert batteries in the device, rst open the buckle of the device.
• Insert 8 x 1.5 V AA batteries into the battery compartment.
• Please pay close attention to the polarity, which is marked in the battery compartment.
Otherwise the device will not work and can be damaged.
• Recommend you use high-performance alkaline AA batteries. You can also connect an
external power supply plugged into the bottom port; please sure that voltage matches the
camera. Failure to do so will void the warranty.
• When connecting an external power supply, the camera will use the external power prefer-
entially. Please remove the batteries from inside the camera when using an external power
source. Failure to do so may cause damage to the devise that is not covered under the
warranty specications.
2.2 Inserting SD Card
Since the camera has no built-in memory, it can only work if an SD/SDHC memory card is
inserted.
• To insert an SD/SDHC memory card into the memory card slot of the device, push it into the
slot until it clicks into place.
• To remove an SD/SDHC memory card from the memory card slot of the device, press the
protruding edge of the memory card in a little way until it pops out. Then remove the card.
• The contact surfaces of the memory card must
be facing towards the front of the camera.
• SD/SDHC memory cards have a locking sys-
tem to prevent accidental erasure. To protect
the card from write access, slide the switch on
the side of the card to the “LOCK” position.
However, the camera can only save data onto
the card if the switch is in the other position.

Note
• The device supports SD/SDHC memory cards with a capacity of up to 32 GB.
• To avoid malfunctions, keep the memory card away from moisture and avoid strong vibra-
tion, dust, heat sources and direct sunlight.
• Insert the memory card as indicated by the icon on the slot.
• Never force the memory card into the slot. Never bend or twist the memory card.
• Major uctuations in temperature or humidity can lead to condensation which could cause
an electrical short-circuit. Keep the memory card in the protective case when not in use.
• Please use a name-brand SD card and format before using in this devise.
Functions Setting
After connecting a power supply, move the operating mode selector switch to the “TEST” posi-
tion to make the settings described on the following control panel buttons. Press the MENU
button to enter/exit the main menu and start a menu option through the directional arrow
buttons. Conrm you settings by pressing the OK button, or you will lose your new setting.
1) Press button to switch from photo to video mode to shot video clips.
2) Press button to switch from video to photo mode to take still photos.
3) Press the MENU button to open the settings menu.
NOTE: If you do not open the setting menu in 3 minutes, the camera will enter into sleep
mode, and the screen will be turned off, but it will be turned on if any key is pressed. If you do
not open the setting menu within 10 minutes, the camera will power off automatically.
4) Press key to manually trigger the camera shutter. A photo or video (depending on the
camera setting) will be taken and saved to the SD card.
Also, press to Play / Pause the video.
5) Press the / buttons to select the desired menu entry which you can then activate with
the OK button. If you change settings, you must always conrm your changes with “OK”. Use
the MENU button to navigate one menu level backwards.

3.1 Mode
To select whether photos or videos
are to be recorded in motion detection
mode. In “Cam + Video” mode, the
camera rst takes a photo and then
starts lming video. In “Camera”
mode,”Video Size”,”Video Length” are
unavailable. In”Video” mode,”Photo
Size”,”Picture No.” are unavailable.
3.2 Language
Here you can set English, Chinese, German, Finnish, Swedish, Danish, French, Czech, Norwe-
gian, Slovak, Russian, Italian, Spanish, or Portuguese as the menu language.
3.3 Photo Size
Select a photo size: 1 MP, 3 MP, 5 MP (preset), 8 MP, 12MP, 16MP. The larger the le size, the
more detailed the image.
3.4 Video Size
Select the screen resolution: 1280 × 720, 720 × 480, 640 × 480 or 320 × 240. Here too, the
higher the resolution, and the faster the memory card capacity will be reached.
3.5 Photo No.
Select the number of photos that are to be taken in succession when the camera is activated
in photo mode. In addition to single shot mode (01 photo), you can take 2 photos in series (02
photo) or 3 photos in series (03 photo).

3.6 Video length
Videos are in AVI format that can be played back on most video players. Use the / but-
tons to select the length of the video recording (3-30 seconds) that is to be made when video
recording is activated. The longer the recording time selected, the less space you will have
available on your memory card.
3.7 Interval
Use the / buttons to select the minimum time period that the camera should wait before
reacting to subsequent activation of the main sensor after the initial recording. During the
selected interval, the camera will not record any images or videos. This prevents the memory
card from being lled up with too many recordings of the same event. You can select between
5 - 59 seconds or 1 - 60 minutes.
3.8 Sense Level
The sensitivity of the main motion sensor is set here. For interior areas and environments with
little interference, such as branches blowing in the wind, select “High”. Select “Standard” for
exterior areas and environments with a normal amount of interference, and select “Low”for
environments with a high level of interference. The temperature can also affect the sensitivity.
The “High” setting is suitable for warm ambient temperatures, whereas “Low” should be
selected for cold environments.
3.9 Set Date & Time
Here you can set the time and date. Use the / buttons to switch between the values and
change the selected value with the / buttons. Conrm your settings with the OK button.
3.10 Date Stamp
Here you can choose whether to save your photos with a time stamp Date, Time, Temperature,
Moon Phase will be stamped on the photos and videos if you choose “Date/Time”.

3.11 Timer
Select “On” if the camera should only
be active during a certain time period.
In the screen menu that subsequently
appears, you can then set the start and
end time for the active phase:
Press the / buttons to set the hour
for the start of the active phase.
Then switch to the next eld using the
button. Press the / buttons to
set the minutes for the start of the ac-
tive phase. Then switch to the next eld
using the button.
Press the / buttons to set the hour
for the end of the active phase.
Then switch to the next eld using the button. Press the / buttons to set the minutes
for the end of the active phase.
The settings made here apply every day. The camera will not record any images outside of the
active phase.
Conrm your selection with the OK button. Afterwards, press the MENU button to close this
sub-menu.
3.12 Time lapse
With this function the camera auto-
matically takes pictures at adjustable
intervals. This is useful if you want to
observe the blooming of plants or the
like, for example. When you conrm
“On” with the OK button, you can then
set the desired time interval using the
menu that now appears:

Press the / buttons to set the hour of the desired time interval. Then switch to the next
eld, “Min”, using the button. Press the / buttons to set the minutes of the desired
time interval. Then switch to the next eld, “Sec”, using the button. Press the / but-
tons to set the seconds of the desired time interval. Conrm your selection with the OK button.
Afterwards, press the MENU button to close this sub-menu.
Note: If Time Lapse is “ON”,”Interval”and ”Sense Level” function are unavailable.
3.13 Password Set
Select “On” if you want to use a pass-
word to protect the camera from un-
wanted access. In the following screen
menu, you can set a 4-digit combination:
Press the / buttons to select the
rst digit between 0-9. Then switch to
the next eld using the button. Press
the / buttons to select the second
digit between 0-9. Then switch to the
next eld using the button. Press the
/ buttons to select the third digit
between 0-9. Then switch to the next
eld using the button. Press the /
buttons to select the fourth digit between 0-9.
Conrm your selection with the OK button. Afterwards, press the MENU button to close this
sub-menu.
The set number combination must now be entered each time the camera is switched on in
TEST mode before the unit can be operated.
If you forget the number combination, proceed as follows to unlock the camera and to reset it
to its factory default settings:
• Keep the RIGHT BUTTON pressed while moving the operating mode selector switch to the
TEST position. Keep the button pressed until you see the boot screen.
• After about 5 seconds the camera will switch on and can now be used without a password.
NOTE: This procedure will permanently delete any previously made settings.

3.14 Serial NO.
Select On to assign a serial number to each camera you have. You can use the combination
of 4 digits and/or letters to record the location in the photos. This helps multi-camera users
identify the location when reviewing the photos.
3.15 Audio
If you want the camera to record sound when recording videos, select “On” here.
3.16 Format
Formatting the memory card will permanently delete all data on it. Before you use a new
memory card in the camera or a card that has previously been used in another device, you
should rst format the memory card. Select “Yes” with the OK button and conrm the follow-
ing prompt with the OK button. The formatting process starts. While the card is being format-
ted, the message “Please wait” appears.
CAUTION: Ensure that the memory card does not still contain any les that you need!
3.17 Default Settings
If you select “Yes” the menu item and then slide the select bar in the following prompt to
“OK” using the / buttons and then press the OK button, all previously made camera set-
tings including any password will be deleted and the factory settings will be restored.
3.18 Version
Here show the version number of camera rmware. We periodically release rmware update
with new feature or performance enhancements. Please contact the seller or authorized
dealer to get the updated rmware if needed.
Update Steps:
• Copy the updated le onto an empty memory card.
• Insert the memory card into the device while the operating mode selector switch is TEST to
the OFF position
• Keep the button pressed while moving the operating mode selector switch to the TEST
position. Keep the button pressed till you see the splash screen,and hear the beep sound.

• When the beep sound stopped,please switch to OFF position,and power off(take out the bat-
teries or DC charger),and then install the batteries again, and switch to TEST position.
• Now, the camera can be used in default mode.
Activating live mode
1. Mounting with a strap
Place the camera on a tree or pole approximately 1-2 meter high. Thread the mounting strap
through the mounting strap slots on the back of the camera.
If you are mounting camera to cover a trail, face the camera down the trail tilted at a slight
downward angle, facing the camera North or South to avoid over exposure from the sun. Clear
brush away from camera front to avoid false triggers from the wind.
2. Activating live mode
The normal operating mode of the camera is so-called live mode. In this mode, recordings are
triggered via the motion sensors.
To set live mode, slide the operating mode selector switch to the “ON”
position,and at this time, the display screen will be Turned Off to save batteries.
The camera will start to operate independently and will go into standby mode. As soon as any
wild animals or similar enter the detection range of the central sensor zone, the camera will
start capturing photos and/or videos (depending on the conguration).
Displaying recordings on the screen
Slide the operating mode
selector switch to the
“TEST” position. Now you
will see the live picture
from the camera. Press the
OK button to activate me-
dia playback. The following
appears on the display:

A: Shows that the selected recording is a video.
If this does not appear,the selected recording is a photo. B: Shows the resolution of the
selected video or photo
C: Battery charge level display
D: Shows the current recording number as well as the total number of recordings.
E: Write protection status of the selected le
F: Date/Time recording was made
G: Indicator for type of SD card being used
You can use the / buttons to scroll through the recordings and view them on the display.
Press the button to zoom in on the image on the display. Press the button to zoom out
again. Press the or button briey to move the image section up or down. Hold down the
or button to move the image section sideways. If the image is zoomed, the correspond-
ing zoom factor is also shown on the display.
If the currently selected recording is a video, press the button to play back the video. Press
the button again to stop the video. If you press the button, the video will run backwards
to the beginning. Press MENU button to exit the video playback. If you now press the MENU
button, the settings menu opens:

6.1 Delete One
You can use this function to delete individual recordings from the memory card. After you have
called up this function, move the select bar to “Delete “ and press OK to delete the selected
recording.

6.2 Delete All
You can use this function to delete all recordings from the memory card. After you have called
up this function, move the select bar to “Delete” and press OK to delete all recordings.
6.3 Slide show
This function can be used to play back the photos stored on the memory card automatically.
Each photo is shown for about 2 seconds. To stop the slide show and keep the current image
permanently on the screen, press the OK button.
6.4 Protect
This function can be used to protect individual recordings or all saved recordings from
accidental deletion.
If you select a write-protected le, the write protection symbol will appears on the display.
Showing Recordings on an External Monitor
Attach the jack plug of the supplied video cable to the TV out socket of the camera and the
cinch plug to the video input of a TV set or the like. As soon as the jack plug is connected to
the TV-out socket , the built-in screen is deactivated and the image is played back via the
TV-out output . The operating mode selector switch must be set to the TEST position.(TV cable
is not included)
Transferring Recordings to a Computer
Connect the USB plug of the supplied USB cable to the USB port on the camera and the USB
plug to a free USB 2.0 port of a switched-on computer. This will now recognize the device as
“mass storage”. When you have conrmed this message of the camera with “OK”, the camera
connects to the computer and the content of the SD/SDHC memory card will appear as a new
drive on the computer. Now carry out the required le operations.

Thank you for purchasing our products, we strongly recommend that you maintain your prod-
uct well and ensure that you operate it with the guidelines of this manual.
The warranty we offered to the camera is ONE YEAR from the date of purchase.
In this year, if there are any quality problems, we would provide free after-sales service and
ensure to deal with any production defects. Paid service would be supplied to the product,
which is over the warranty period.
Attention:
1. Having accidental damage, abuse and privately repairs or being repaired by an unauthorized
repair facility do not belong to warranty range.
2. Maintenance products freight will be responsible by the camera owner.
3. Unless there are different regulations in law, we would not assume responsibility for any
direct or indirect loss resulting from go against warranty, which is applicable to the product
expressed or implied.
