Il trasmettitore RAD3 , dal design innovativo,
è costruito con materiali plastici resistenti ed è
destinato al comando di automazioni del tipo
apricancelli, apriporta, porte da garage (bascu-
lanti, sezionali), serrande e simili. Ogni altro
uso e’ improprio e vietato!
Prima di procedere alla memorizzazione di RAD3 nel
ricevitore, è opportuno vericarne il suo corretto funzio-
namento premendo, uno ad uno tutti i pulsanti, simulando
una trasmissione e osservando l’accensione del led. Il
led si accende stabilmente con colore arancio durante la
trasmissione del codice. Se la batteria è scarica il trasmet-
titore riduce sensibilmente la portata ed il led lampeggia
durante la trasmissione: in questi casi, per ripristinare il
regolare funzionamento del trasmettitore occorre sostituire
la batteria scarica con una dello stesso tipo, avendo cura di
rispettarne la polarità, come riportato in gura. F

MEMORIZZAZIONE E CANCELLAZIONE DEL TRASMETTITORE
Per la procedura di memorizzazione e cancellazione del trasmettitore fare riferimento alle istruzio-
ni della centrale o del ricevitore. Il radiocomando viene fornito con la codica rolling-code.
MODALITA’ 5 CANALI
Oltre alla modalità di default a 3 canali, è possibile utilizzare anche una modalità a 5 canali :
- canale 1: pulsante 1
- canale 2: pulsante 2
- canale 3: premere il pulsante 3 ed entro 5 secondi il pulsante 1
- canale 4: premere il pulsante 3 ed entro 5 secondi il pulsante 2
- canale 5: premere il pulsante 3 ed entro 5 secondi nuovamente il pulsante 3
Per abilitare tale modalità:
•Aprire il trasmettitore, togliere la batteria e poi inserirla nuovamente tenendo premuti i pulsanti
1 e 3 per più di 10 secondi (il led lampeggia in modo alternato verde e rosso). Al termine il led
esegue 5 lampeggi di colore arancio.
•Rilasciare i pulsanti 1 e 3 e premere il pulsante 2 durante il quinto lampeggio.
Per tornare alla modalità a 3 canali ripetere la procedura premendo il pulsante 2 durante il terzo
lampeggio.

COPIA DI UN TRASMETTITORE A CODICE FISSO
La copia del codice di un trasmettitore a codice sso può essere utile per poter gestire un’ automazione preesistente.
Procedere come segue:
• Mettere i 2 trasmettitori vicini uno all’altro.
• Premere il pulsante di RAD3 che si vuole associare al nuovo codice e tenerlo premuto per circa 10 secondi: il led
inizia a lampeggiare con colore verde.
• Sempre mantenendo premuto il pulsante, premere anche quello del trasmettitore da cui si vuole copiare il codice.
• A programmazione avvenuta il led di RAD3 rimane acceso per 1 sec circa, poi cessa di lampeggiare: a questo punto
rilasciare il pulsante.

PER RIPRISTINARE LA CONFIGURAZIONE INIZIALE, cioè prima della copia appena descritta, procedere come
segue:
•Premere i pulsanti 1 e 3 assieme: il led lampeggia in modo alternato verde e rosso per 10 secondi. Trascorso questo
tempo il led si spegne ed eettua tre lampeggi lenti di colore arancio.
•Rilasciare i pulsanti 1 e 3 e premere il pulsante 2 al terzo lampeggio; al termine vengono eseguiti 5 lampeggi veloci di
colore arancio.
ATTENZIONE!
C’è pericolo d’esplosione se la batteria è sostituita con un’altra di tipo non corretto. La batteria contiene sostanze
inquinanti e quindi non deve essere gettata nei riuti comuni e deve essere smaltita utilizzando i metodi di raccolta
separata previsti dalle normative vigenti nella vostra zona. Per lo smaltimento della batteria attenersi alle normative
vigenti in materia.

e RAD3 transmitter is innovative in design and made with
reinforced plastic, and controls the automation devices of
gates, doors, garage doors (swinging or sectional), shutters
and similar. Any other use of the transmitter is prohibited!
Before programming the RAD3 in the receiver, make sure that it works correctly by
pressing each button in turn to simulate a transmission and checking that the LEDs
light up. e LED turns orange and remains steady during transmission of the code.
If the battery is low, the power of the transmitter will decrease and the LED will ash
during transmission: in which case, replace the low battery with one of the same
type, making sure to put it in the correct way round as shown in the picture.
PROGRAMMING AND CANCELLING THE TRANSMITTER
Program or cancel the transmitter referring to the instructions provided with the control unit or
receiver. e remote control has rolling-code.
5 CHANNEL MODE
ere is a default 3 channel mode but also a 5 channel mode:
- channel 1: button 1
- channel 2: button 2
- channel 3: press button 3 and then press button 1 within 5 seconds
- channel 4: press button 3 and then press button 2 within 5 seconds
- channel 5: press button 3 and then press button 3 again within 5 seconds
To enable this mode:
•Open the transmitter and remove the battery; reinsert the battery while pressing and holding buttons
1 and 3 for over 10 seconds (the LED ashes green and red in alternation). Aerwards, the LED ashes
orange 5 times.
•Release buttons 1 and 3 and press button 2 during the h ash of the LED.
To revert to 3 channel mode, repeat the procedure but press button 2 during the third ash of the LED.
COPYING A FIXED CODE TRANSMITTER
It can be useful to copy the code of a xed code transmitter for controlling an existing automation. Proceed as follows:
• Place the 2 transmitters next to each other.
• Press the RAD3 button to be associated with the new code and hold it for about 10 seconds: the LED starts ashing
green.
• While still holding the button, press also the button of the transmitter to which the code is to be copied.
• Aer programming, the RAD3 LED remains steady for about 1 sec and then stops ashing: at this point, release the
button.

TO RESTORE THE DEFAULT SETTINGS, i.e. the settings before copying the code, proceed as follows:
•Press buttons 1 and 3 together: the LED ashes green and red in alternation for 10 seconds. e LED then stops
and ashes orange three times, slowly.
•Release buttons 1 and 3 and press button 2 during the third ash; the LED then ashes orange 5 times, quickly.
CAUTION!
Replacing the battery with an incompatible one can pose the risk of explosion. e battery contains polluting
substances and must, therefore, be disposed of not as ordinary waste but in accordance with local legislation on
recycling. Dispose of the battery in compliance with the applicable laws in force.
