Congratulations on purchasing this product. Please read and follow these instructions, in order to avoid
damaging the item. We do not cover any damages that may arise from improper use of the item or the
disregard of the safety instructions.
Safety Instructions
• Before rst use ensure that your mains voltage corresponds to that stated on the rating plate of
the appliance. Connect this appliance to a plug which is wired according to the regulations (220-
240V ~AC).
• This appliance is not intended to be operated by an extension cord, separate timer or a separate
remote control.
• Always turn the power off at the power outlet before you insert or remove a plug. Remove by
grasping the plug – do not pull on the cord.
• Always ensure the appliance is used on a stable, dry and non-slip surface.
• The iron must be used and rested on a stable surface.
• The iron must not be left unattended while it is connected to the supply mains.
• When placing the iron on its stand, ensure that the surface on which the stand is placed is stable.
• Never put the appliance on a hot plate or heating device; plastic parts could melt.
• Always use the original base station with the iron. Using foreign parts can cause risk of injury to
the user and damage to the appliance.
• CAUTION! DO NOT OPERATE APPLIANCE IF:
• It has been dropped or the cord or appliance are damaged in any manner;
• If it has malfunctioned or if it is leaking.
• Should the cord or the appliance be damaged, it must be checked by a qualied person. If dama-
ge is suspected, please contact your place of purchase in this case.
• Never leave the appliance unsupervised when in use or around small children.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sen-
sory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience andknowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance by a person responsible for their
safety.
• Never operate the appliance with wet or damp hands.
• CAUTION! DANGER OF BURNING: The sole of this appliance gets very hot during use. The steam
and hot iron can cause serious injuries. Only touch the handle and never leave the appliance un-
attended during operation, to avoid danger or re and material damage.
• Make sure the appliance never comes into contact with ammable materials, such as curtains,
cloth, etc and that the power cord and plug do not come in contact with water.
• Switch off and unplug the device whenever it is not in use.
• Do not wind the cord around the appliance and do not let it bend or tangle. Never move the ap-
pliance by pulling the cord. Make sure the cord cannot get caught in any way.
• Do not put vinegar or other cleaning agents into the water reservoir.
• Do not use chemically descaled water.
• The product is intended for normal domestic/household use only.
• Care should be taken when using the appliance due to the emmission of steam.
• Unplug the appliance during lling and cleaning.
• Remove the plug from the power outlet before lling or emptying the water tank.
• The appliance must never be placed under the tap when lling with water. Remove the water tank
to ll or empty the appliance.
• Do not point the hot plate towards yourself or other people while using the steam station.
• To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not immerse or expose the product, exible cord or plug
to rain, moisture or any liquid.
• Do not use the product near baths, basins or other vessels containing water or other liquids, or
when standing in or on damp or wet surfaces.
• In the event where the appliance is dropped into the water, turn off the power at the power outlet
and remove the plug immediately.
• DO NOT REACH INTO THE WATER TO RETRIEVE IT.
• It is important to note that the appliance will have to be inspected by a qualied technician before
using it again
