Step
Remove the main unit and the mounting plate.

Replace the main unit with the mount base.

Cut the rubber and put the LAN cable into
(a), then (b) will be assembled to (a) tightly.
As a final step, (c) need to be assembled
to (b) without making any space.
Put the main body back on mounting plate.
Caution Do not pinch the cable when restoring the PIR detector.

2IP address settings
Step
The default network type of InSight is dynamic. If you do not have a DHCP server,
access the following IP address. Change the InSight network type to Static and set
the IP address;
Initial address: Refer to the label on the InSight
User name: root
Default password: OPTEX
Refer to the “IP Camera Setting Manual” in more detail.

The default network type of InSight is dynamic. If you have a DHCP server, it will automatically set the IP address.

Access to this portal allows you to install and manage the InSight series.
If you do not have an account, please request a dealer account by visiting:

Caution
Do not use the vertical angle adjustment of the main unit other than adjusting
the detection area surface to be parallel to the ground inclination.

Remove the Back cover by hand.
Raise the Back cover up.
Pull it back.
Adjust PIR area direction
Angle can be adjusted with either left or right screw.

The display of the detection area helps to set the area.

Settings on the InSight web
It is possible to refer the location of the detection area following procedure.
SETUP -> PIR DETECTOR -> PIR area viewer
In this step, do not change the camera tilt angle on InSight web settings.

1Turn LED back ON, if it was turned OFF (DIP switch No. 1, Default ON).
Walk around the detection area to make sure it is set as intended.
If necessary, turn LED OFF again.
Fix the cover with the cover lock screw included in the housing,
after completion as necessary.

For the walk test, walk at least 1.0 m (3’ 3” ) away from the detector.

For confirmation, the LED will light up according to the alarm output for 3 minutes
after the detector cover is installed again in any setting.
Conduct a walk test at least once a year.

If the angle of the camera is adjusted up or down,
the detection area display of the detector on the screen
will be different from the actual one. Adjust the display
on the web. See the IP camera manual.
