Note:
Nominal cooling conditions: indoor dry bulb temperature is 27℃, indoor wet bulb temperature is 19℃,
outdoor dry bulb temperature is 35℃, outdoor wet bulb temperature is 24℃.
Note:
1) When the unit is shipped from the factory, the refrigerant R417A has been
discharged from the unit;
2) After the unit is installed, the indoor and outdoor unit connecting pipes are
connected and leak tested, open the valve to vacuum, and fill the refrigerant
according to the nameplate refrigerant quantity (connecting pipe is 3 meters);
3) When the connecting pipe exceeds 3 meters, additional refrigerant should
be added:
Liquid pipe Φ9.52 is 52g/m （Elite 6000/10500 Split）
Liquid pipe Φ12.7 is 110g/m （Elite 15000 Split）
4）When the unit needs to replenish the refrigerant quantity, it is necessary to
disassemble the maintenance board and replenish the refrigerant from the low
pressure needle valve.

2 Installation, Operation and Maintenance
The air-conditioner must be installed by qualified technician. Incorrect installation may lead to
damage, electric shock, and fire or water leak.
Before installing the air-conditioner, please read the “warning and notice” carefully to ensure the
correct installation. After installation, please conduct a trial run and check whether the operation is
normal or not.
Explanation of warning and notice signs：
●Refers to warning……Neglecting warning may cause a severe accident.
▲Refers to notice……Neglecting notice may cause injury or damage of the unit.
●Verify that any wall on which the outdoor unit is installed is capable of carrying the weight. Do not
install on a light unstable structure susceptible to vibration.
●Electrical connection shall be made only by authorized electricians and in accordance with local
electrical requirements and codes. Insufficient wire capacity or bad circuit structure can cause
creepage or fire.
●Make sure the tightness of all wire connection, use the stated wire and use the recorded gage
(wire size 8 or 10 ) , avoid any outside force directly working on the connection end or wire. The
wrong wire connections can cause a fire.
●If a refrigerant leak occurs during the installation, please vent air immediately. If the refrigerant
catches fire, it will produce poisonous gas.
●Earth leakage breaker must be built in and the ground should be connected during the electrical
connection. If there is no ground connection or imperfect earth, it may lead to electric shock.
▲Do not let cooling air vent onto your body directly for a long time. Excessively low room
temperature is not good for your health and wastes electricity.
▲When checking the units, do not revise or replace the electrical components and protection device.
Running without protection device can damage the unit.
▲If the unit displays the malfunction code, it can be restarted after troubleshooting.
2.1 Warning
In case of air-conditioner failure, immediately cut off power supply and have failure corrected by
specialty maintenance personnel, before restarting the unit or it could cause damage, fire or electric
shock.
2.2 Installation of Indoor Unit
Verify that the indoor unit installation location is capable of carrying its weight, and the

installation of the minimum air duct and pipe connection. The height of ceiling should consider the
condensate water discharging height and service room. According the distance of unit’s four
fastening brackets and the height of ceiling joist, make sure the location and height of four sleeves.
The helix length on the sleeve can adjust the level degree of indoor unit and make sure of the
unobstructed condensate water discharge.
2.3 Installation of Ducting Air Line
The ducting air line should be accordance with the local regulation. Make sure that the air line is
insulated on its entire length. Unit should be equipped with muffler by 300-500mm length soft pipe
to reduce the noise. When installing the air line, lay the air outlet line and air return line according
with the static pressure, or it can lead to insufficient air quantity or noise.
2.4 Installation of Outdoor Unit
In order to get maximum cooling performance, the outdoor unit should be installed according to
the following items:
A) The unit installation location should face away from the prevailing wind and avoid air
discharging in that direction.
B ) No obstacle in the location between the air discharging and intake.
C) Install an awning to protect the outdoor unit.
D) Verify that any wall on which the outdoor unit is installed is capable of carrying the unit’s
weight. Do not install on a light unstable structure or vibration.
E) Do not install the unit in a highly polluted area in which the air is contaminated by oil mist,
salt or sulfuric gas.
2.5 Safety Notice
Make sure the outdoor unit location allows easy access for servicing, air inflow and outflow.
Provide minimum disturbance to the owner and nearby neighbors.
Minimum distance between the indoor unit installation location and outdoor unit location, and
minimum quantity of refrigerant pipe bends.
2.6 Tube Connection
The standard tube length is 8/15m. The unit interconnecting tube length can influence the cooling
or heating capacity of unit. Tubing route shall be kept to straight lines as much as possible. When
installing, keep the number of tube bends to a minimum. If bends are necessary, perform them only
by using professional tube benders and not manually; make sure an ideal height difference between
the indoor unit and outdoor unit.

2.7 Leak Check, Vacuum
There is a taper mouth on the check valve of outdoor unit gas tube. It can be used to measure the
pressure and charge refrigerant；
As for tube leak, it must be charged to about 2.5MPa nitrogen to make sure.
As for tube and indoor unit vacuum, it needs 30 minutes and the pressure lower than 30Pa.
2.8 Drain Line Installation
The drain line is installed with the right drainage point specification. The drain hose should be
installed in a down slope 1% to make sure the easy draining of condensate water.
2.9 Electrical Connections
Electrical connection shall be made only by authorized electricians and in accordance with
local electrical requirements and codes. Power supply should be isolated during the process of
electrical connection. Besides the above points, please note the follow items:
Ensure the power voltage is consistence with the rated voltage.
Unit should have independent power supply;
All ground connections are reliable and safe;
Make sure the connection cable is free of any movable parts like compressor, fan, etc;
All electrical connections should be according to wiring diagram.
The air-conditioner is double system unit. The mixture of electrical cable connection and tube
connection will lead to damage to the buildings.

3 Use of Wire Controller and PCB
3.1 Wire Controller
3.2 ON/OFF
□ Press <ON/OFF> to turn on the unit and the indicator light is on
□ Press <ON/OFF> again, the unit will be turned off and the indicator will be off
3.3 Air conditioning operation mode selection: Press <MODE>
The default state is cooling (the sun symbol [day]). After pressing the <MODE> for 5 seconds,
press the <MODE> again to switch the heating (moon symbol [night]) or cooling.
Special note: The control board is optical control. In the default state, it is cooling during the day
and heated at night. Therefore, the operation mode needs to manually pass the above operation to
realize the free switching of cooling or heating.
3.4 Indoor fan speed selection
Select the user's required fan speed through the < FAN>.
3.5 Adjust temperature and humidity
Press <+> and <-> to adjust the set temperature
Press <△> and <▽> to adjust set the humidity
3.6 Timing start and stop

□ Set the timing stop time when the power is on
□ Set the timing start time when the power is off
□ After press the <SET> for 3 seconds, the hour time flashes
□ Press <+> <-> to adjust the hourly timing time

□ Press the <SET> again to complete the timing setting.

(2) When b7 is set to 1, it is the cycle timing
□ After press <SET> for 3 seconds, the hour time flashes and start set the timing start time
□ Press <+><-> to adjust the hourly timing start time;
□ After press the <△> or <▽> again, the minute time flashes
□ Press <+> <-> to adjust the minute timing start time
□ Press <△> or <▽> again, the hour time flashes,after the timing start time is set,start setting
the timeing stop time
□ Press <+> <-> to adjust the hourly timing stop time

3.7 The clock setting
□ Press and hold the <SET> for 6 seconds, the hour time flashes and enters the clock setting

3.8 Query (can display real time)
□When the cycle timing (〖b7〗is set to 1), press the <SET> to display the real time.
□Press <SET> to enter the query, then press <△> or <▽> to query the values of d1, d2, d4, d6,
and then press <SET> to exit the query.

3.9 Parameter settings
□ Press the <SET> for 9 seconds to enter the parameter setting menu
□ Press the <ON/OFF> to select [System Function Settings Menu], [Protection Temperature
Time Menu], [Defrosting parameter] or [Password Menu]

4 System fault protection and code
The controller automatically judges various faults that occur in the system during operation,
and according to the types of these faults, performs corresponding protection processing and
displays the corresponding fault code. The fault code displays EE:XX at the position of the clock
(88:88).

5 Operating Tips
1. Set a suitable room temperature; excessively low room temperature is not good for your health
and wastes electricity. Avoid frequent temperature setting changes.
2. During prolonged operation, ventilate the room occasionally by opening a Window.
3. During cooling or heating, close doors and windows to keep the cool air in the room.
4. The other heat producing equipment in the room should keep at least 1m distance to air
conditioner, or it can influence the air return temperature.
5. If the unit is not used for a prolonged time, the power should be turned off.

6 Maintenance
At the beginning of the season, make sure no obstacles exist that block the flow of inlet and
outlet of air of the outdoor unit. Make sure the power supply is properly connected and power
switch is in its ON position.
After using the unit for 1 or 2 years, make sure an integrated maintenance for the unit to
guarantee the performance.
Replaceable Components
The replaceable components can be purchased from the distributors, and the information as
follows needs to be supply:
1. Unit Model 2. Serial No. 3.Name and quantity of components.
