AMX-21 Multimedia Amplified Speakers
Your Optimus AMX-21 Multimedia
Amplified Speakers are specially de-
signed for use with computer multime-
dia systems. The speakers’ magnetic
shield allows you to place them next to
your PC’s monitor without causing pic-
ture distortion.
The speakers can also transform your
portable CD player or personal cas-
sette player into a complete music
system. The speakers are compatible
with any audio source that has a 1/8-
inch stereo headphone or line out jack
(or a 1/4-inch plug with an adapter).
Your speakers’ features include:
4-Inch Woofer and 2-Inch Tweeter in
each speaker give you excellent,
wide-range sound.
Bass Boost — provides richer, fuller
bass.
Surround Sound — produces a more
spacious sound effect.

MAINTENANCE
Your Optimus AMX-21 Multimedia
Amplified Speakers are an example of
superior design and craftsmanship.
The following suggestions will help
you care for the speakers so you can
enjoy them for years.
• Keep the speakers dry. If they get
wet, wipe them dry immediately.
Liquids might contain minerals
that can corrode the electronic cir-
cuits.
• Use and store the speakers only
in normal temperature environ-
ments. Temperature extremes can
shorten the life of electronic
devices, and distort or melt plastic
parts.
• Keep the speakers away from
dust and dirt, which can cause
premature wear of parts.
• Handle the speakers gently and
carefully. Dropping them can dam-
age the circuit boards and can
cause the speakers to work
improperly.
• Wipe the speakers with a damp
cloth occasionally to keep them
looking new. Do not use harsh
chemicals, cleaning solvents, or
strong detergents to clean the
speakers.
Modifying or tampering with the
speakers’ internal components can
cause a malfunction and might invali-
date the warranty. If your speakers
are not performing as they should,
take them to your RadioShack store
for assistance.
