PRO-SW30 Multimedia Amplified Subwoofer
Your Optimus PRO-SW30 Multimedia
Amplified Subwoofer is designed to
complement your multimedia comput-
er, adding a powerful bass sound to
mini-type amplified speakers. The
subwoofer is magnetically shielded so
you can safely place it next to your
PC’s monitor without picture distor-
tion.
This subwoofer can also add an excel-
lent bass sound to the speaker system
you are using with your portable CD
player, personal cassette player, or
musical keyboard. You can use a sin-
gle PRO-SW30 for both stereo chan-
nels.
The subwoofer’s CROSSOVER switch
lets you select the best bass response
for your speakers.
This symbol is intended to alert you
to the presence of uninsulated dan-
gerous voltage within the product’s
enclosure that might be of sufficient
magnitude to constitute a risk of

This symbol is intended to inform
you that important operating and
maintenance instructions are in-
cluded in the literature accompany-
ing this product.
ADDING THE PRO-SW30
TO YOUR SPEAKER
SYSTEM
Although low frequencies are non-
directional, factors such as room
acoustics, resonance, and absorption
strongly affect your subwoofer’s per-
formance. For the maximum bass out-
put, place the PRO-SW30 in a corner.
To reduce its output, move it away
from the walls. Even slightly moving
the subwoofer can have a major effect
on bass response.
Note: If the plug on your speaker sys-
tem’s cable is not a 1/8-inch plug, or if
the audio source’s audio output jack
does not match the 1/8-inch plug on
the supplied cable, contact your local
RadioShack store for the proper cable
adapters.

CARE AND

To enjoy your Optimus PRO-SW30

long time:
• Keep the subwoofer dry. If it gets
wet, wipe it dry immediately.
• Use and store the subwoofer only
in normal temperature environ-
ments.
• Handle the subwoofer gently and
carefully. Don’t drop it.
• Keep the subwoofer away from
dust and dirt.
