About your Hitch
The OP15 comes as standard with a Lock'n'Roll arculang hitch. The hitch allows for pivong on 3 axis and provides an overall
smoother towing experience. Ensure the locking pin is fully inserted and secured in place before towing. When hitching the OPUS®
to your towing vehicle you must ensure that someone is close to the handbrake in order to maintain control of the trailer,
parcularly when unhitching on uneven ground or a slope. The Lock’n’roll hitch is a two-part hitch with a vehicle-side and a driver-
side part. The vehicle side ts in a 2’’ hitch receiver and should be locked in place with an appropriate hitch receiver lock. The
trailer side is already installed on hour OP15. To connect the two parts, the trailer side pin arms should be placed in the receiving
secon on the vehicle side part. The hook arms then t over the trailer-side pin arms and a securing pin is ed through the holes
in the hook arms and the hole in the main receiving secon on the vehicle side part. This will hold the trailer side pin arms in place.
Use a locking pin on the securing pin to fully lock the coupling in place.

HITCHING, TOWING & BREAKING
About your Electrical Plug
7 PIN The OPUS® is ed with a 7-pin at plug that connects all the exterior trailer
ltrailer running/break/turn lights and the electric brakes to the towing vehicle. You will
require a 7-pin connecon on your tow-vehicle as well as an in-car electric break
controller installed in your tow vehicle to operate them.
Installing your Safety Chains
The OPUS® is ed with 2 safety chains on the tongue. One end of each chain is ed
to the OPUS® chassis and the other end has an aachment clip which should be
aached securely to your tow vehicle bumper or receiver. Ensure the clips on the
hooks are in place to fully secure the hooks. Do not aach the hooks to the hitch
itself. Ensure that you have enough slack in the chains to turn your vehicle
adequately. Should you require less slack, the chains can be twisted or crossed below
the tongue before connecng to your vehicle to ensure the chains do not drag on the
ground.
About your Brakes
The OPUS® is ed with electric trailer brakes. You need an electric brake controller
ed to your car in order to tow the OPUS® and operate the electric brakes safely.
Failure to tow with a brake controller in your vehicle is both dangerous and illegal.
You can tell if your brakes are working properly by connecng the 7-pin plug, starng
the engine of the tow vehicle and then geng someone to listen to the brake hub
whilst another person applies the brakes in the tow vehicle. If they are working
correctly you will here a low humming sound as the brakes are applied. As part of the
annual service check you should have completed by an accredited industry service
agent, the brakes will be checked and maintained.
Towing
The driver of the tow vehicle must ensure that their Driving License is valid for towing the OPUS® Camper. It is highly
recommended, parcularly if you are not experienced in towing that you adhere to any applicable laws for the state in which
you are driving. Many guides are available from leading associaons and should be studied before you embark.

Switchboard Quick Tips
The Volt Meter: Measures the current baery voltage output. Most appliances will require at least 12.2v from the baeries
otherwise they will not work.
Amp Meter: This shows how many Amps you are currently using. The OPUS® has 3 x 100ah AGM baeries. This gives you 150
usable amps for o-site power.
Baery Indicator: This shows the total capacity remaining in your baeries. If you are showing 50% on your baery meter then
your baeries will not put out the 12.2v required for most accessories to operate. Ensuring you keep a close eye on all 3 gauges
will ensure you are fully informed on the current performance of your 12v baery powered electrical system.
*Each switch on the control panel (power, fridge, sockets, lights and pump) has its own breaker, located directly above the switch.
Understanding the Voltage Meter
The upper number shows what Voltage (power level) the baeries are currently reading. It is the strength of the current owing
from the baeries.
If this number were to drop beneath 12.0v with no load (i.e. no accessories running on the OPUS®) then it is highly likely all the
appliances inside your camper would stop working as the baeries are not able to put out enough voltage to keep these appliances
running.
Do not take a reading when an appliance, such as a fridge, is running. It will give a false reading. Voltage may appear below 12.0 if
the baeries are under load (fridge is acvely running).
The lower number shows the quanty of energy you are currently ulizing from the baeries. If you imagine a water tank holding
100gallons and you drain 4 gallons an hour (gallons would represent amps), then you can tell how quickly under current usage
condions your baeries will be fully drained. Remember your appliances all cycle at dierent rates so this number becomes very
important for esmang baery life.

STEP 2 - You can now un-hitch from your tow vehicle if you choose. The lock’n’roll two part hitch can be
disconnected by removing the locking pin and unhooking the two hook plates (see page 10 for more
informaon on your hitch)
STEP 3 - Raise or lower the tongue jack wheel to level your OPUS® Horizontally.
STEP 4 - To drop down the corner steadies, pull the blue handle outwards unl the leg drops down to a
90 degree angle from the trailer. Using the included corner steady winder (or cordless drill/driver with a
3/4'' Hex socket aachment) wind down each corner steady leg unl it touches the ground. Depending
on the terrain, you may need to adjust each corner to level the OPUS® width ways. Tip!
It may help to li the weight of the leg when pulling out the blue handle. NEVER li the OPUS completely o the ground using just
the corner steadies.
STEP 5 - Disconnect the four roof securing latches; Use your thumb to push in the release pin (see 5b & 5c below) then li the
handle to release the latch from the hook completely.
STEP 6 - At the back of the OP15 un-screw the black spare re securing bolts unl they can be removed from the hole completely.
STEP 7 - Next, disconnect the spare re securing latches using the red lever handle. Fold the handles and triangle pin downwards
so they are out of the way of the rear panel. Carefully fold down the spare re bracket; the arm is gas-strut assisted to help with

120 VOLT & 12 VOLT POWER
120 Volt Shore Power Connecon
Safe operang procedures
The OP15 comes ed with a 120 volt power system. This 120 Volt power system complies
with NFPA and NEC regulaons. The hookup for the 120v is located outside on the driver-side
of the OP15. The main circuit breaker panel is located inside the OP15 in the footwell under
the master bed. Always ensure you have a clear access to the circuit breaker panel and that it
is not blocked at any me. There are 2 internal dual 3-pin 120v outlets with USB sockets and
one exterior dual 120v outlet.
The exterior shore power hookup is located on the driver's side at the front of the OP15 and
your OP15 comes supplied with a 30ah shore power cable and pigtail connecon for both
campsite and home outlet connecon. Take care to ensure proper maintenance of the power
cord and pigtail accessory items. Always use a Listed and approved 20ah cable and adapter and
a grounded power source. Never use an extension cord. DANGER! Due to potenal danger in
failing to heed this warning, the recreaonal vehicle manufacturer cannot be held responsible
should damage, injury or death result from failure to connect the power cord to a properly
grounded power source.
Invertor informaon
Your OP15 has a 12v to 120v changeover switch and invertor installed located in a
compartment under the master bed, accessed by liing the maress and removable panel. If
you are not connected to a 30amp shore power connecon the invertor will AUTOMATICALLY begin converng 12v current from
your baeries to 120v to supply any connected appliances connected to the 120v outlets. To reserve your 12v baery power we
recommend unplugging all 120v appliances if you are not connected to the 30amp shore power hook up. These power hungry
appliances will deplete your baeries very quickly (even with the solar-assisted charging) so we recommend using this
funconality sparingly. Please pay very close aenon to your amp meter if you are running a 120v appliance via the invertor;
try plugging each appliance in separately to check its amperage draw to help you beer understand and manage your power
supply. Please note that the A/C system requires 120v shore power to run. You cannot run the A/C system o of your baeries
as it WILL DRAIN YOUR BATTERIES in a very short period of me. For more informaon on using you’re A/C system please see
the A/C secon of this manual. There are no other 120v appliances or systems built into the OP15 as standard.
12 Volt Baery Power
The OP15 has three 100ah deep cycle marine baeries installed as well as a fully automac
baery charge controller. You will need to charge your baeries for at least 24hrs prior to each
trip using a 120volt shore power connecon to ensure that they are fully charged. The main
control panel has a baery volt-meter that will provide an indicaon of the charge level of your
baeries. A fully charged baery bank will be indicated by a full baery symbol and the voltmeter
reading around 13.7volts . If you are at a campsite with shore power then we recommend
connecng for the duraon of your stay to keep your baeries fully charged. If you are camping
o-site without 120volt power then the length of me that your baeries will last will depend on
how much 12volt energy you use, how much solar power you are generang to recharge the baeries (see below “Solar Power”
Secon), the ’health’ or condion of your baeries and in some cases the ambient temperature. Your control panel will show
you how much power you are using and how much remaining power is in your baeries to help you manage your power
consumpon.

Baery Tips!
• The baery indicator on your control panel will show how much energy is le in your baery bank. It is important to note that
it does NOT explicitly show how much useable power is le in your baeries.
• You have a 300 amp baery system. AGM baeries are able to reliably put out over 12.0v of power for 50% of their capacity.
Most 12v appliances will require a 12volt output from the baeries to work. This means you 150 usable amp hours from a
fully charge set of baeries. The indicator on your control panel will show you how much total energy you have in your enre
baery bank. This means that when your indicator shows 50% you have used all of the usable power within your baery
bank. If you connue to drain power from your baeries beyond this point can and will most likely cause damage to your
baery bank.
• AGM baery lifespans are longer when they remain at full charge. Frequently discharging your baeries and leaving them
empty will accelerate the degradaon process of your baeries and reduce their lifespan. The NOCO Genius charger
installed in your OP15 will control the amount of charge delivered to your baeries so that they do not over charge, therefore
you can leave your OP15 plugged in at all mes when at home.
• If you are not keeping your OP15 plugged in whilst at home we recommend that you disconnect your baeries to maintain
good baery health. Please see the *care and maintenance secon for more informaon on this topic.
• The CO/LP alarm is wired directly to the baeries. This means that turning the power to the OP15 o on the control panel will
NOT shut power o to the CO Alarm. Please follow the winterizaon process for baery care to ensure you are fully
disconnecng the baeries during long periods of storage.
• Always set your fridge to ‘LO’ before heading out on your trip. This will use less power from your baery and allow you
longer o-site camping.
Solar Power
There are three 100 wa solar panels mounted to the roof of the OP15 with a 30amp solar
charge controller installed. During the day with adequate sunlight, the solar panels will
automacally trickle charge your baeries. We recommend reading the user manual for your
solar panels & charge controller in full to understand the capabilies and sengs for the
solar panels and charge controller.
12 Volt Baery Power cont.
On the control panel you will nd the main 12v ON/OFF switch. There are sepa-
rate switches for the following 12volt operated appliances and systems in the
OP15: Fridge, Sockets, Lights, Water Pump.
The OP15 has two 12v outlets for the interior TV hookup, two for the exterior TV
hookup and one exterior 12v socket by the kitchen. The internal and external
lights for your OP15 are all 12v LED. They can all be switched on or o inde-
pendently either on the light itself or on via a switch in the OP15.

WATER SYSTEM
Potable Water System
The OP15 is ed with two 31 gallon fresh water tanks mounted under the OP15 towards the middle and rear of the trailer. The
water tanks have two ll points located on the driver-side of the OP15 and idened by a blue water faucet icon.
WARNING: Only potable water from a reliable source should be used in these tanks. Do NOT
store water in the tanks for more than two weeks. Please ensure you sanize, ush and drain
the water tanks before using and a minimum of every 6 months thereaer or if you suspect
there’s an issue with the quality of your water. Do NOT use bleach to sanize the tanks as they are
stainless steel and it will cause corrosion. Please see the OPUS Care & Maintenance secon of this
manual for more informaon on sanizing your water system. Failure to maintain your tank can
result in death or serious injury.
Your water system is connected to the 12v water pump which can be switched on via the main control
panel. Your two potable water tanks may be used to supply water to the bathroom including the shower and sink as well as the
kitchen sink. The potable water tanks also supply water to the Truma hot water system AND the ushable toilet (see each secon
on the following page for more informaon on these systems). The water pumps are pressure operated, so once the main power
switch is turned on at the control panel the pump will prime the system and as soon as you turn the tap on the water will ow.
Once the tap is closed, the pump will turn o unl the tap is turned back on. Please turn o your pump at the main control panel
when the water system is not in use as they will connue to use baery power when they are turned on
but not in use. Do not run your water pump when the tanks are empty as this could cause the damage
to the water pump and circuit.
You can use the water gauges on the main control panel to check the water levels in each tank. The
tanks are gravity lled and included with your OP15 is a potable water ll hose which should also be
sanized regularly. It is important to monitor the water levels in your tanks. When your water tanks or
empty please turn o your water pump. Running your pumps without water in the tank will cause your
water pumps to burn out. Please see the Troubleshoong secon for ps if you are not able to draw
from your potable water tanks
You can set your water pump to draw from EITHER the front OR the rear tank OR from both tanks. To do this, locate the selector
lever located under your OP15, behind the driver-side wheel. You will see a blue lever at a juncon of three water pipes. To select
the FRONT tank, move the lever through 90° towards the F marking in the direcon of the rear of the trailer. To select the REAR
tank, move the lever towards the R marking in the direcon of the front of the trailer. To select BOTH tanks move the lever to the
center of the markings, so that the red arrows line up with the three water pipes. Please note if either of your water tanks is
EMPTY please move the selector to the other tank and do not leave it on BOTH tanks.

Gray Water System
The OP15 gray water tank has a capacity of 17 gallons and is the front most tank on the underside of
your trailer. It collects the gray water from your shower and bathroom sink. Please note that your
kitchen sink does not drain into the gray water tank. Please visit the Kitchen secon of this manual for
more informaon on the kitchen sink drain. You should connually monitor the ll level of your gray
tank using the gauge on the main control panel during use. We recommend emptying your gray tank
when it is around 3/4 full. You will nd the gray water drain outlet on the gray water tank. Please
remember to dispose of gray water safely at dumping staons or other permied outlets.
Only liquid run o from the shower and sink should be drained into your gray water tank. No other liquid is permied to be
drained into the gray tank. It is important to regularly clean your gray water tank as a build up of grease, dirt and soap scum can
impact the funcon of the tank and cause odor. Please see refer to the OP15 Care and Maintenance secon of this manual for
proper cleaning steps and for cleaning and draining prior to storage. Do NOT use bleach to clean your gray water tank.
Black Water System & Toilet
The OP15 black water tank is located towards the front of the trailer on the lower edge of the driver’s
side. It can be idened by the black tank drain valve. The capacity of the tank is 10 gallons and the ll
level can also be monitored using the gauge on the main control panel. We recommend emptying
your black tank when it is at least 1/2 to 3/4 full and aer every camping trip. Emptying your tank
sooner may result in solid waste being le behind in your tank; a fuller tank allows more opportunity
for breakdown of solid waste. All waste from the OP15 toilet is collected in the black tank so please
take cauon when emptying to avoid contact with waste which can carry harmful bacteria. The black
tank must ONLY be disposed of in designated dump staons. At the rear of the trailer is a holding
tube for the black tank drain hose. To empty your black tank:

liquid waste draining then close the valve
completely. Close the valve at this point
You can also use Formaldehyde-free black tank treatments such as the Camco TST Drop-ins to help breakdown waste and prevent
odors. If you are on-site camping and connecng to a campground sewer we recommend keeping the tanks drain valve closed unl
you need to drain to assisng in purging the tank of solid waste. Please see the ‘Bathroom’ secon of this manual for more infor-
maon on using your toilet.
Warning: Do NOT leave waste in your tank during storage. Always remember to close the drain valve aer draining the
black tank and before removing the drain hose. Your drain hose should also be regularly cleaned and sanized. Do NOT
use bleach to clean your black water tank. Please see the care & maintenance secon for further details on properly cleaning &
sanizing your black tank.

PROPANE GAS SYSTEM
Safe operang procedures for your propane gas system
The OP15 is ed with a dual mount for two 20lb. PROPANE gas
boles and an automac changeover dual regulator. Both boles can
be connected to the regulator at the same and the regulator will
automacally switch between the gas boles as required. The OP15
gas system will also work with only one propane tank installed. Please
ensure the gas boles are turned o when the gas is not in use.
To install a gas cylinder, place the gas bole in the holder and use the
provided clamp to hold the cylinder in place. Adjust the t if necessary
by turning the threaded triangle bolt. Ensure that you have the correct
gas hose to connect the gas cylinder to the xed gas regulator; your
OP15 comes with a regulator-to-gas bole pigtail hose which should
be compable with most US standard propane boles. Once
connected to the propane bole, the gas tap/valve on the top of the
gas bole can now be opened.
To connect the gas system on the kitchen; stowed under the sink there is a gas hose ed to the stove that has a quick connect on
the other end. Thread the gas hose through the aperture under the kitchen and connect to the gas quick connect on the side of the
OP15. Turn on the blue gas tap on the gas quick connect on the side of the OP15 by turning 90° so that it is parallel with the xture.
To operate the gas stove; li up the stainless steel lid, turn on one of the burners (push in, turn and hold to ignite). Keep pressing
the buon unl the gas has had me to ll up the system and the
burner will ignite. You may need to hold the buon in for up to 10
seconds before ignion to overcome the accidental ignion safety
precauon in-built in the hob. Do NOT lean across the burners to
reach the stove controls.
When the stove is not in use, please ensure the gas is turned o at the
quick connect valve on the side of the OP15. If not using the Truma
combi system, please also turn the valve on the gas boles to the o/
closed posion.
Please note that your Truma Combi System uses the propane system. Your propane tanks must be connected and in the open/ on
posion to supply the Truma Combi system to produce heat or hot water. Please refer to the secon on the Truma Combi system
for further informaon on how to operate.
You have an Propane (LP) / Carbon Monoxide (CO) detector installed in your OP15, direct wired to the baery. Please read the
user manual supplied for the detector to fully understand correct usage. If the Propane or Carbon Dioxide warning alarm sounds,
evacuate the trailer immediately and, if safe to do so, close o and fully disconnect the propane tanks. Do not touch any
electrical switches.. Follow proper and safe steps to venlate the trailer and await for the alarm to stop before returning to the
trailer. If a propane leak is suspected fully disconnect the propane tanks and make an appointment to have your OP15 serviced
with your dealership.
Ensure that the gas bole valve is closed prior to packing up the OP15 for transit or storage, the quick connect valve on the side of
the OP15 has been closed and that the gas hose has been disconnected from the side of the OPUS and carefully stowed inside the
kitchen. Please make sure that the gas hose is fully inserted into the kitchen before sliding the kitchen into the storage
compartment. Failure to do so can lead to the gas hose geng caught in the runners which can lead to damage.
Do not use any other gas systems than those provided with the OP15. Always turn o the shut o valve IMMEDIATELY aer use.
