Melamine ( MFMDF )
For general routine cleaning, wipe the melamine surface by
applying a mild non abrasive soap solution using a soft lint
free cloth. Then rinse clean with a damp lint free cloth and
dry thoroughly.
More stubborn stains including oil, varnish or paint may be
removed when rubbed with methylated or white spirits. Then
rinse tops clean with a damp lint free cloth and dry thoroughly.
Furniture polishes should not be used, they can result in the
build up of wax or sili-cone on the surface leaving smears.
Aluminium
For general aluminium polishing apply a proprietary wax
paste to polished aluminium components carefully
following the manufacturers instructions.
Care of Wood Finishes
The ne nish applied during manufacture is a hard
protective lacquer resistant to moderate heat and spillages
of some beverages, but not alcohol. All spillages should be
wiped off immediately with a slightly damp cloth. The only
cleaning necessary is again to wipe with a slightly damp
cloth and buff with a soft duster.
Under no circumstances should a silicone polish or
wax be used as these damage the nish and prevent
the furniture from being renished.
General Care

Wood veneer
For general routine cleaning simply dust and wipe your
veneered surfaces with a soft, damp lint free cloth and
dry immediately using a soft clean cloth. Always wipe
veneered surfaces in the direction of the wood grain.
After any liquid spillage wipe surfaces immediately to
avoid any permanent staining.
More stubborn stains can generally be removed by applying
a mild, lukewarm non abrasive soap solution using a soft
lint free cloth, gently rubbing over the stain work-ing up
a thin lather. Take great care not to apply too much liquid
and remember to always rub in the direction of the wood
grain and dry immediately using a clean soft cloth.
We also strongly advise against the use of wax or spray
polish on lacquered veneered surfaces, as a build up
of polish will eventually damage the  nish and cause
unsightly patches.
Please note that we cannot be held responsible for any
product to which polish has been applied.
The shade and grain of wood veneers vary, even after
optional colour matching during the polishing process.
This is not a fault but just part of the appeal and beauty
of natural wood veneers.
To minimise the risk of damage please take some
simple precautions...
• Use coasters under glasses and hot mugs.
• Don’t place potted plants on a veneered surface
unless kept in a watertight container and take
extreme care when watering.
• Veneer is susceptible to bruising and scratching
so use protective pads under any equipment.
• Sunlight can damage veneer surfaces so avoid
over exposure to direct sunlight. Fit blinds where
necessary to diffuse the light.
• Avoid exposure to excessive heat from a  re, radiator
or local high temperature light sources.
General Care
Warranty
Warranty and guarantee periods commence from delivery to site and are subject to fair wear and tear. Retention of the warranty label attached to the product will
support claim authenticity when quoting the relevant N number. Task chairs, visitor chairs, tables and occasional tables have a 5 year warranty (based on 8 hours
use per day). This is reduced to 18 months warranty for 24 hour use or 24 months warranty for 12 hours use environments. Soft seating products have a 5 year
structural warranty & a 1 year warranty on upholstery from our standard offer, Network Landscapes products have a 2 year structural warranty and a 1 year
warranty on upholstery. Pods have a 2 year warranty. Service parts are guaranteed for a period of 12 months.
