Allgemeines
Willkommen in der Welt der Basisstation2:
Diese Anleitung beschreibt die Funktionen der Basisstation2. Diese ist das
Bindeglied zwischen den Orderman-Funkhandterminals und der Kassa
oder dem Computer und dient zur Funkübertragung.
Lieferumfang zur Basisstation2:
Zusätzlich zu Ihrer Basisstation2 erhalten Sie eine aufschraubbare Anten-
ne, ei n Orderman-Steckernetzgerät 15V, ei n RS-232 Kabel (1 Meter), ei-
nen DSUB9/Modular6 Adapter sowie diese Bedienungsanleitung.
Optionen:
Die Basisstation2 ist in unterschiedlichen Leistungsstufen (Anzahl Handys)
lizenzierbar.
In der Basisstation2 i st auch ein Steckplatz vorhanden, i n den ei n Modul
zur Funktionserweiterung eingesteckt werden kann.
Nähere Informationen zu den O ptionen erfragen Sie bei Ihrem Fachhänd-
ler.
Garantie:
Lassen S ie Repar aturen nur v on fachkundigem S ervice-Personal dur ch-
führen. Die Garantie erlischt beim Öffnen des Blechgehäuses.
Der richtige Umgang
Sicherheitshinweise:
• Die B asisstation2 dar f nur mit de m mitgelieferten O rderman-
Steckernetzgerät 15V betrieben werden.
• Setzen Sie das Gerät nie extremen Witterungsverhältnissen wie zum Bei-
spiel Regen, Hagel, extremes Sonnenlicht oder Schneefall aus. Bei auftre-
tenden Schäden m uss das Gerät v om Kundendienst auf mögliche Fehler
untersucht werden.
• Die Basisstation2 enthält keine vom Anwender zu wartenden Teile.

Pflege:
Vor Rei nigung des G erätes i st IMMER di e V erbindung z um S te-
ckernetzgerät bzw. zum Stromnetz zu trennen!
Pflegehinweise:
Um die Außenseite des Gerätes zu reinigen, verwenden Sie ein weiches
Tuch, das in einer schwachen Lösung aus mildem Waschmittel und Was-
ser angefeuchtet wird.
Verwenden S ie k eine Dr uckluft, um das G erät oder Geräteteile z u r eini-
gen.
Inbetriebnahme
Vor der M ontage der B asisstation2 dr ehen S ie d ie mitgelieferte A ntenne
im Uhrzeigersinn bis zum Anschlag auf den dafür vorgesehenen Schraub-
ansatz (ist ohne Werkzeug nur mit der Hand möglich).
Die A ufstellung der B asisstation2 er folgt in I nnenräumen. Di e P ositionie-
rung kann stehend, auf die Wand oder kopfüber (Deckenmontage) durch-
geführt werden.
Für ei ne opt imale F unkleistung vermeiden S ie di e N ähe z u m etallischen
Gegenständen.
Die Betriebsanzeige ist über das Programm Oman.exe steuerbar.
Für ei ne Wandmontage bz w. für das E instecken ei nes E rweiterungsmo-
duls ( Option) dr ehen S ie di e A ntenne entgegen dem Uhr zeigersinn v on
der Basisstation2 herunter. Anschließend l ösen S ie die Dr ehmutter eben-
falls ent gegen d em Uhr zeigersinn ( ist per Hand m öglich) und heben di e
Kunststoffhaube inkl. dem Leuchtring (Betriebsanzeige) vom Gehäuse ab.
Für die Wandmontage sind in der Bodenplatte zwei Montagelöcher vorge-
sehen. Di e I nstallation des E rweiterungsmoduls i st in der da für vorgese-
henen Bedienungsanleitung beschrieben.

Introduction
Welcome to the world of Base Station2:
This manual describes the functions of Base Station2. Base Station2 links
the Orderman handheld radio terminals to the cashier station or the com-
puter and is used for radio transmission.
Included with Base Station2:
Included with Base Station2 are a screw-on antenna, an Orderman Plug in
power supply 15V, a one-meter RS-232 cable, a DSUB9/Modular6 adaptor
and this operating instructions manual.
Options:
Base S tation2 c an be licensed f or a variety o f d ifferent pow er out puts
(number of cell telephones).
Base Station2 also includes a slot for an expansion module.
Your dealer can provide more information about options.
Warranty:
Repairs should be m ade by t rained service personnel onl y. The warranty
terminates immediately if the housing is opened.
Proper use
Safety notes:
• Base Station2 must be oper ated with the Orderman Plug in power supply
15V which has been provided only.
• Base S tation2 s hould ne ver be e xposed t o ex treme weather c onditions
such as rain, hail, strong sunlight or snowfall. Should damage result, Base
Station2 must be examined by customer service for defects.
• The us er s hould not at tempt maintenance of any B ase S tation2 c ompo-
nent.

Routine care:
ALWAYS disconnect Base Station2 from the charger or the mains
before cleaning!
Cleaning notes:
Use a soft cloth moistened with a w eak solution of a m ild det ergent and
water to clean Base Station2’s exterior.
Do not use compressed air to clean Base Station2 or its components.
Initial operation
Before installing Base Station2 turn the included antenna clockwise until it
is stopped by the screw extension. This can be done manually.
Base Station2 is intended for setup indoors. It can be installed in a s tand-
ing position or wall- or ceiling-mounted (upside down).
For optimum performance avoid installing Base Station2 near metallic ob-
jects.
The status display is controlled by means of the Oman.exe program.
For w all-mounting or at taching an ex pansion module ( option), r emove
Base Station2’s antenna by rotating it counter-clockwise. Then remove the
screw by t urning i t counter-clockwise ( can be do ne m anually) and l ift the
plastic c over and t he illuminated r ing ( status di splay) from the hous ing.
The base plate has two holes f or wall-mounting. Installation of the expan-
sion module is described in its operating instructions manual.

Come usare correttamente l’apparecchio
Norme di sicurezza:
• Usate la stazione base 2 solo con l’alimentatore Orderman 15V in dotazio-
ne.
• Non esponete mai l’apparecchio a c ondizioni meteorologiche estreme, ad
esempio: p ioggia, gr andine, forte irradiazione s olare o ne ve. I n c aso di
danni, fate esaminare l’apparecchio dal servizio assistenza clienti.
• La stazione base 2 non contiene alcuna componente di cui l’utente debba
eseguire la manutenzione.

Funzionamento
Prima di montare la stazione base 2 av vitate i n senso orario l ’antenna i n
dotazione fino alla battuta d’arresto sull’apposita vite di fissaggio (è possi-
bile manualmente senza bisogno di attrezzi).
La stazione base 2 v a installata solo all’interno di edifici. Il posizionamento
della stazione base 2 può essere effettuato in piedi, sulla parete o a t esta
in giù (montaggio a soffitto).
Per ottenere una trasmissione ottimale evitate di posizionare l’apparecchio
vicino ad oggetti metallici.
Il LED di funzionamento è comandabile tramite il programma Oman.exe.
Per effettuare il montaggio a par ete o per inserire un modulo di espansio-
ne (opzionale) svitate l’antenna in senso antiorario dalla stazione base 2.
Allentate successivamente, in senso antiorario, anche il bullone (lo si può
fare manualmente) e s ollevate dall’involucro la copertura con anello lumi-
noso (LED di funzionamento) compreso. Il montaggio a parete va eseguito
tramite i due fori di montaggio previsti sul fondo piastra. L’installazione del
modulo di espansione è descritta nelle apposite istruzioni per l’uso.

Bienvenido al mundo de la antena RF2:

nexo de unión entre el terminal portátil inalámbrico Orderman y la caja o el
ordenador y realiza la radiotransmisión.
Accesorios incluidos con la antena RF2:
Su ant ena RF 2 va ac ompañada de una ant ena c on rosca, un c argador
Orderman de 15 V , un c able RS -232 ( 1 m etro), un adapt ador
DSUB9/Modular6 y este manual de instrucciones.
Opciones
Se puede l icenciar la ant ena RF 2 par a di ferentes ni veles de c apacidad
(cantidad de mandos que puede controlar la antena).
La antena RF2 dispone también de una r anura de expansión en la que se
puede conectar un módulo de extensión de funciones.

Indicaciones de seguridad:

adjunto.

el aparato deberá ser examinado por el servicio técnico para identificar los
posibles fallos.

parte del usuario.

Cuidado:
Desconectar SIEMPRE el aparato del alimentador o de la toma de
corriente antes de limpiarlo.
Indicaciones para el cuidado
Utilizar un paño suave, humedecido en una m ezcla diluida de det ergente
suave y agua, para limpiar la parte externa del aparato.
No utilizar aire comprimido para limpiar el aparato o partes del mismo.
Puesta en servicio
Antes de ef ectuar la instalación de la ant ena R F2 at ornille la ant ena
adjunta, girándola hasta el tope en el sentido de las agujas del reloj, en la
extensión para tornillo prevista para ello (se puede hacer con la mano, sin
necesidad de herramientas).
Instale la antena RF2 siempre en espacios interiores. Puede ser colocada
tanto de pie, como en la pared o boca abajo (montaje en el techo).
Para opt imizar la t ransmisión por r adio e vite la i nstalación c erca de
objetos metálicos.
Se puede c ontrolar el LE D de enc endido a t ravés del pr ograma
Oman.exe.
Para l a i nstalación en l a par ed o par a c onectar un m ódulo de ex tensión
(opcional) e xtraiga la ant ena de la bas e RF 2 g irándola en el s entido
contrario a l as aguj as del r eloj. A continuación afloje el tornillo, asimismo
en s entido c ontrario al de l as aguj as del r eloj (se p uede hac er c on l a
mano), y r etirar la c ubierta de pl ástico i ncl. e l ar o l uminoso ( LED de
encendido) de l a c arcasa. P ara el m ontaje en l a par ed s e ha di spuesto
dos orificios de m ontaje en l a pl aca del fondo. La i nstalación del módulo
de expansión se describe en el manual de instrucciones respectivo.

Indications de sécurité :

par ex emple la pluie, la grêle, les rayons directs du s oleil ou la chute de

SAV pour vérifier la présence éventuelle de défauts.

Entretien :
Avant de pr océder au nettoyage de l’appareil, TOUJOURS couper
la connexion du bloc d’alimentation ou du courant de secteur !
Indications d’entretien :
Utilisez un c hiffon doux humidifié avec un m élange d'eau et de détergent
léger pour nettoyer l’extérieur de l’appareil.
N’utilisez pas d’ai r c omprimé pour net toyer l’appareil ou l es pi èces de
l’appareil.
Mise en marche
Avant de pr océder au montage de l a station de bas e 2, vissez l’antenne
contenue dans la livraison dans le sens des aiguilles d’une montre jusqu’à
la but ée s ur l e s upport de vissage d e l ’antenne pr évu à c et e ffet ( cette
opération doit être effectuée à la main et sans outils).
La mise en pl ace de l a station de ba se 2 s’effectue à l ´intérieur. Le pos i-
tionnement peut se faire debout, sur un mur ou en position inversée (mon-
tage au plafond).
Afin d’obtenir une performance de transmission optimale, évitez la proximi-
té d’objets métalliques.
Le voyant lumineux peut être commandé par le programme Oman.exe.
Afin d’effectuer un m ontage au pl afond, ou pour le branchement d’un m o-
dule d´extension (en option), dévissez l’antenne dans le sens inverse des
aiguilles d’une m ontre de l a station de b ase 2. Ensuite, desserrez l’écrou,
également dans l e s ens i nverse des ai guilles d’une montre ( cette opér a-
tion peut se faire à l a main) et soulevez le couvercle en plastique y com-
pris l ’anneau l umineux ( voyant l umineux) du boî tier. Deux t rous de mon-
tage s ont pr évus dans l a pl aque de ba se p our l e m ontage mural.
L’installation du module d´ extension es t déc rite dans l a not ice d’e mploi
prévue à cet effet.
