1. INTRODUCTION
Thefollowinginstructioncontainsthenecessary informationfor
construction ,organizationand fiscalopportunities oftheelectroniccashregister
with fiscal memory ELKA MICRO 04. Instructionsfor correct exploitationand
storage ofthecash register havebeen given.
ELKA MICRO 04 isconstructedwithamemory capacity of 128kB andit
has thefollowingopportunities:
- 2000 assortments;
-9department/2 couldbechosendirectly fromthekeyboard, 1 by
default, 6 notchosenfrom thekeyboard, programmablefor repartitionof
assortments/.
- 2 operators with passwords.
Thecashregisteris extremely suitablefor work in the sphereof delivery
trade and deliveriestohomes, openmarkets, medical services.
ELKA MICRO04 is aprogrammablecashregister ,through whichan
opportunity is giventothecustomerto choosethe optimal regime ofwork
regarding theorganization of the trade subject.
2. CONSTRUCTION OF THE CASH REGISTER
Thedesign oftheapparatus isconformableto theergonomic
requirementsof this type.

2.1. INDICATION
Theelectroniccashregisterwith fiscal memory has10 digit LCD
indication.
2.2 KEYBOARD
Thekeyboard includes11 digital and 13 functional keys withthe shown
designationsand location.
Whenworkingwiththecashregisterafter every properly perceivedkeya
short soundsignal isheard and whenthereisimpropermanipulationwith the
keyboard - there isacontinuoussoundsignal.

Thedigit blockservesfor enteringnumbers information.Key“00” enters
two zerossimultaneously,whichquickensthework with wholenumbers. Itis not
allowed the firstentereddigit to be 0or 00. The cashregisters gives opportunity
for work with variable decimalpoint position. Its placeissetby programming
Parameter 14. Regardingits valueisset theshiningof thedecimal point in
regime REGISTRATION. I n regimes PROGRAMMING, REPORTS WITH
CLEARING AND REPORTS WITHOUT CLEARING thedecimal point is
always at thefirstplaceasit intheseregimesit is only workedwith whole

2.4. BLOCK MEMORY
In theblock MEMORY are stored thevaluesof theprogrammed
parameters,thecurrent informationwhenworkingwith thecashregister.
After switchingoffthecashregister memory issuppliedby abuild-in
accumulator, located on logic plate. Astorageoftheinformationfor morethan
1500 hoursafter switching off the cashregister is guarantied.
2.5. FISCAL MEMORY
Thefiscal memory is energyindependent, constructively separate and
sealedblockinthecaseof thecashregister. In every daily financial report with
clearinginthe fiscal memory aBLOCK DATAis written,containingthenecessary
informationfor realizationtheturn-oversby every taxationgroup with
accumulation. Thisinformation could beprintedinregime REPORTS OF
FISCAL MEMORY” .Thecapacity of fiscalmemory provideswork of thecash
register for aperiod of 6years/1850 records/. Theinformationrecorded in the
fiscal memory could not bechanged.Arecord of datais accomplished after
setting theelectronic cash register with fiscal memory into exploitation. The cash
register shouldbe setintoexploitation afterstartingactivity of thetrade
project.Afterfiscalization of the cash register with fiscal memory every attempt to

3. PREPARATION FOR WORK OF THE CASH REGISTER
Beforesettingthecashregisterwith fiscal memory intoexploitationa
control check-out ismadefor eventual mechanicdamages.
In case that thecashregister hasbeentransportedin conditionsof lowor
hightemperature whenswitchingon, it should becompulsory left toget
acclimatized for 4 hours in thepackage and 1 hour ou t of it.
Theplaceforinstallationof thecashregistershould notbe exposedto
direct impact of heat sources.
Themounting of thecashregister should be accomplishedat aheight,
conformable to therequirements for convenient work at apropercorner on
observation of the indicationsby the operator and thecustomers.
Therooms inwhichthecashregisterwill beused should be with normal
firehazard regarding Order 2/ПCТН/ andwith normal dashing off.
