はじめに
製品の取り扱いは、適切な資格を有する人が行なってください。
お使いになる前に、「安全上のご注意」をよくお読みのうえ、正しくお
使いください。
この製品は、一般的な産業機器の機器組み込み用として設計されてい
ます。その他の用途には使用しないでください。この警告を無視した
結果生じた損害の補償については、当社は一切その責任を負いません
ので、あらかじめご了承ください。
可動中継ケーブルはモーターとドライバ間を延長するときに必要な、
耐屈曲性に優れたケーブルです。
安全上のご注意
ここに示した注意事項は、製品を安全に正しくお使いいただき、お客
様や他の人々への危害や損傷を未然に防止するためのものです。内容
をよく理解してから製品をお使いください。
警告
この警告事項に反した取り扱いをすると、死亡または重傷を負う場合
がある内容を示しています。
●爆発性雰囲気、引火性ガスの雰囲気、腐食性の雰囲気、水のかかる
場所、可燃物のそばでは使用しないでください。火災・感電・けが
の原因になります。
●設置、接続、運転・操作、点検の作業は、適切な資格を有する人が
行なってください。火災・感電・けがの原因になります。
●作業するときは、電源を切ってから、行なってください。感電の原
因になります。
●シールドケーブルを加工・改造しないでください。ケーブルの被覆
を剥離して、シールド線を接地したり、触れたりしないでください。
感電・漏電遮断器が動作する原因になります。
●電源を切った直後（10 秒以内）には、可動中継ケーブルの着脱を行
なわないでください。感電の原因になります。
●コネクタは、分解・改造しないでください。感電・けがの原因にな
ります。
注意
この注意事項に反した取り扱いをすると、傷害を負うまたは物的損害
が発生する場合がある内容を示しています。
●異常が発生したときは、ただちに運転を停止して、ドライバの電源
を切ってください。火災・感電・けがの原因になります。
●可動中継ケーブルを廃棄するときは、できるだけ分解し、産業廃棄
物として処理してください。

接続
適用製品の取扱説明書を合わせてご覧ください。
コネクタは確実に差し込んでください。
コネクタの接続が不完全な場合には、動作不良やモーター、ドライバ
が破損するおそれがあります。

使用上のご注意
◆ケーブルコネクタ部分で屈曲させないでください。
◆可動中継ケーブルの曲げ半径はケーブル径の6倍以上で使用してく
ださい。

Flexible Extension Cable
Thank you for purchasing an ORIENTAL MOTOR product.
This operating manual describes product handling procedures and
safety precautions.
• Please read it thoroughly to ensure safe operation.
• Always keep the manual where it is readily accessible.
Introduction
Only qualified personnel should work with the product.
Use the product correctly after thoroughly reading the section “Safety
precautions.”
The product described in this manual has been designed and
manufactured for use as an internal component for general industrial
equipment, and must not be used for any other purpose. Oriental
Motor Co., Ltd. is not responsible for any damage caused through
failure to observe this warning.
A flexible extension cable is a cable that is an excellent means of
extending the distance between the motor and driver.
Safety precautions
The precautions described below are intended to prevent danger or
injury to the user and other personnel through safe, correct use of the
product. Use the product only after carefully reading and fully
understanding these instructions.
Warning
Handling the product without observing the instructions that accompany
a “Warning” symbol may result in serious injury or death.
• Do not use the product in explosive or corrosive environments, in
the presence of flammable gases, locations subjected to splashing
water, or near combustibles. Doing so may result in fire, electric
shock or injury.
• Assign qualified personnel the task of installing, wiring, operating/
controlling and inspecting the product. Failure to do so may result
in fire, electric shock or injury.
• Be sure to turn off the power before installing, connecting or
inspecting this product. Failure to do so may result in electric shock.
• Do not rework or modify the cable. Do not remove the sheath of
the cable and then ground or touch the shielded wire. This may
cause electric shock or trigger the ground fault interrupt circuit.
• Do not connect or disconnect the flexible extension cable
immediately after turning off the power (i.e., within 10 s). Failure to
do so may result in electric shock.
• Do not disassemble or modify the flexible extension cable. This
may cause electric shock or injury.
Caution
Handling the product without observing the instructions that accompany
a “Caution” symbol may result in injury or property damage.
• Immediately when trouble has occurred, stop running and turn off
the driver power. Failure to do so may result in fire, electric shock
or injury.
• To dispose of the flexible extension cable, disassemble it into parts
and components as much as possible and dispose of individual
parts/components as industrial waste.
Checking the product
Check the description on the nameplate and confirm that it matches
the product you have ordered.
If there is any shortage or damage, contact the sales office from
which you purchased the product.
Connection
Also refer to the operating manual for the application product.
Insert the connector surely.
If the connector is not coupled properly, malfunction of the system or
damage to the motor or driver may result.
Precautions for use
Do not bend the connector part of the cable.

When using a flexible extension cable, keep the bending radius at six
times or more the cable diameter.
If the flexible extension cable is to be bent, keep the bend radius as
large as possible. Please do not twist or pull the cable to prevent
the risk of damage.
