Thank you for purchasing the OSIM uDiva 3 Plus massage sofa. Before you start
using the massage sofa, please read this operation manual thoroughly for the correct
methods of usage, paying special attention to the section on safety.
This manual should be kept on hand for easy reference. It is your guide to a safe and
efficient operation.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using the product, please take special notice of the following basic precautions:
Read all instructions before using this product.
DANGER – To reduce the risk of electric shock:
Always unplug this product from the electrical outlet immediately after use and before
cleaning.
WARNING– To reduce the risk of burns, fire, electric shock, or injury to persons:
1) Use this product only for its intended use as described in this manual. Do not use
attachments not recommended by the manufacturer.
2) The product should never be left unattended when plugged in. Unplug from electrical
outlet/power source when it is not in use, and before putting on or taking off parts.
3) Do not operate the product under the blanket or pillow. Excessive heating can occur and
cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
4) Do not use the product if the electrical outlet/power source is loose.
5) Do not connect or disconnect the power plug/USB cable from the electrical outlet /power
source with wet hands.
6) When disconnecting the power plug/USB cable, pull it out by holding the plug/USB cable
head, not the cord/cable.
7) Do not operate the product if it has a damaged cord or plug/USB cable, a malfunction,
a power failure, or it is dropped into the water. Injury may occur when power is restored
unexpectedly. Return the product to OSIM Service Center for examination and repair.
8) If the power plug/USB cable or power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by OSIM
Service Center or its authorized service agents.
9) Do not carry this product by the power cord/USB cable or use the power cord/USB
cable as a handle.
10) Keep the product power cord/USB cable away from heated surfaces.
11) Do not place the power cord/USB cable under the product or any other heavy objects.
12) Do not wind the power cord/USB cable around the product.
13) Do not operate the product with the air openings blocked. Keep the air openings free of
lint, hair, and the likes.
14) Remove power plug/USB cable from the electrical outlet /power source immediately
should liquid be accidentally spilled onto the product as this may result in electric shock.
15) Do not operate where aerosol (spray) products are being used or where oxygen is being
administered.
16) To disconnect, turn off all controls and remove the power plug/USB cable from the
electrical outlet/power source.
17) Do not drop or insert any object or flammable material into any openings of the
product. This may result in electric shock, malfunction or risk of fire.

18) Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the product.
19) This product can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a
safe way and understand the hazards involved. Keep children away when the product is in
operation.
20) Cleaning and user maintenance of the product shall not be made by children.
21) Do not use or operate the product when your body or hands are wet.
22) Do not use this product outdoors.
23) Do not use the product in an excessively humid or dusty environment as it may result in
malfunction.
24) Do not use the product in temperatures higher than 40˚C.
25) Do not expose the product to heaters, stoves or direct sunlight.
26) Do not cover the product during operation. This may result in a rise in motor temperature
and subsequent malfunction or fire.
27) Do not use the product in the event of a lightning storm.
28) If you should use the product in a cold room, do not increase the room temperature
abruptly. It is recommended that you increase the temperature gradually to a normal
level.
29) If the product is brought into a warm environment from a cold place where it was stored,
wait for an hour before use as there may be water droplets on mechanical parts due to
condensation. Using the product under such condition may result in malfunction.
30) When first using the product, please be careful and test it out using a low intensity/or
use within a short period of time to understand how the different motors work and your
preferred intensity.
31) Be sure to start on the gentle massage program if using the product for the first time.
32) If your legs slip off the footrest during massage, do not force them back in when the
kneading discs are clamped as this may result in injury.
33) Do not stand on or in product. Use only while seated.
34) Place and use the product on an even, non-slip floor.
35) Do not use the product if the fabric of the footrest is torn and the internal components
are exposed.
36) Do not disassemble the fabric cover of the product. Touching the internal components of
the product may result in malfunction or an electric shock.
37) Do not dismantle, drop, or subject the product to shock or vibration.
38) Do not use the product in combination with other therapeutic equipment or electric
blanket, etc, as this may result in ineffectiveness or injury.
39) Do not rest or place heavy objects on the product as this may result in malfunction.
40) The product must only be serviced or repaired by the OSIM Service Center. Users must
not attempt to disassemble or repair the product.

41) Some noise may be heard coming from the product while in use. This is due to the
structure of the product and is normal.
42) Please do not use the product if you are not feeling well or under the influence of alcohol.
43) Stop using immediately should you experience discomfort and consult your doctor if you
experience any abnormal or severe pain.
44) The product has a heated surface. People who are insensitive to heat must be careful
when using the product.
45) This product is not intended for self-diagnosis or self-treatment of conditions that
should be managed by a qualified health care provider.
46) If you are under any medication of have any medical conditions, please consult your
health care provider first before use.
47) The suggested usage duration is 15 minutes. Ensure that the product rests for 10 minutes
before it is being used again as continuous usage over a long period may activate the
overheat protection device.
48) It is recommended that your usage do not exceed a total of 30 minutes per day as this
may result in excessive stimulation and adverse effects.
49) Do not use the product when the upholstery or seat is removed. This may cause injury or
malfunction.
50) Do not exert excessive force on the back of your neck while using massager.
51) Do not insert your hand or foot along the paths of the massage rollers during usage as
this may cause injury.
52) For product using 3-pin plugs in some territories, please connect to a properly grounded
outlet only.

Control panel operation
• Chair can only operate in Comfort or Lounge positions. You can choose between the 2
positions and then select one of the 2 auto programs on control panel, “Neck & Shoulders”
or “Lumbar” to enjoy your massage.
• Press and hold Bluetooth button for 3 secs to shut down or wake up Bluetooth.

• Wake-up button is also the emergency stop button, press once to wake the chair up, then
you can start to select massage programs and/or pair the chair with App for full control.
• Auto programs selected via the Control Panel can only start at Comfort or Lounge
positions.
• Auto Programs selected via the App will start at predesignated positions. However, when
the chair reaches the designated position and Auto Shoulder Detection starts, you can
adjust the chair position to suit your preference under chair adjustment page controls.
• Control Panel should only be controlled with your finger.
• For music streaming, the chair’s speakers can only be paired with 1 device at one time.
Please un-pair chair from other devices in order to stream music.
Caution
Start-up of chair and pairing with OSIM uDiva 3 App
a) Download uDiva 3 App, and follow the registration steps.
b) When completed with the registration, press [Wake-up button], to wake-up the chair.
c) The LED light indicator will emit a Glowing Blue Light.
d) In the App, you will find your chair’s Bluetooth number, select to pair, once connected
the LED light indicator will emit a Solid Blue light.
e) Follow the in-App instructions to pair the chair for music streaming.
f) Once completed, follow the in-App instructions to set-up your OSIM account and use
the App functions.

Preparation before use
Setting up the uDiva 3 Plus
• The uDiva 3 Plus is packed with its
backrest and footrest in its default sofa
position.
• Remove cushion before starting
massage.
Attaching the side table
• Side table can be attached to either
left or right side of the sofa.
• Align the connecting pipes of the side
table and chair and insert in.
• Side table can be adjusted up to 3
heights during installation with the
adaptors (2x) provided.

Placing the uDiva 3 Plus
• Ensure that there is a minimum clearance
of 40 cm behind the uDiva 3 Plus and
60 cm in front of the uDiva 3 Plus to allow
the backrest to recline and the footrest
to extend without obstruction during
operation.
• Maintain a minimum distance of 1 meter
from AV devices such as television or
radio to prevent signal interference.
• As the uDiva 3 Plus is heavy, please
exercise extra care not to damage floor
surfaces when positioning it.
• It is recommended that a carpet is
placed under the uDiva 3 Plus to prevent
damaging floor surfaces and to reduce
noise level during operation.
Moving the uDiva 3 Plus
• Retract the backrest and footrest fully
to its default position.
• Ensure that all switches are turned off
and disconnect the power plug from
the electrical outlet.
• Tilt the front of uDiva 3 Plus up and
hold the side frame as shown.
• Lift up the uDiva 3 Plus as shown
and move it to the desired location.
Caution
• Do not move the uDiva 3 Plus when
someone is sitting on it. This will
cause the uDiva 3 Plus to tip over and
cause accident and injury.

• Connect the power plug to the
electrical outlet.
• Turn ON/OFF the main switch located
at the lower back of the uDiva 3 Plus.
• Make sure all switches are turned off
(including the main power switch)
before the power plug is connected to
an electrical outlet.
Note
• When the uDiva 3 Plus is turned on for
the first time upon unpacking from the
carton box, the rollers will gradually
move to their default position before
any adjustments can be made (except
for the Stop button [ ]).

Reclining the backrest and
extending the footrest
• Toggle [ ], to convert uDiva 3 Plus
from Sofa position to Comfort and/or
Lounge position.
Converting footrest into Ottoman
Retracting the backrest and
footrest to default position
• Toggle [ ], to convert uDiva 3 Plus
from Lounge or Comfort position to
default Sofa position.
Note
• Footrest can only be fully retracted in
footrest position only.
• If the footrest is rotated to ottoman
position during massage, the footrest
massage mechanism will stop.
Reactivate the footrest massage
mechanism by rotating it back to its
original position.
The footrest can be rotated into an ottoman.
• Pull the ottoman slightly and lift up to
rotate back to footrest position.

Preparation before use
In the event of power failure
• With the support of the armrests, lift
and move your butt to the edge of the
seat as shown in Fig. 1.
• Lift your knees upwards and ease your
legs out as shown in Fig. 2.
• Turn off the main switch and
disconnect the power cord to prevent
any sudden operation if the power is
restored unexpectedly.
Using the USB port
• There are 2 USB ports to charge your
USB devices.
• Plug your USB cable into the USB
port, and the other end into your USB
device.

Auto Massage Programs via Control Panel
• Ensure chair is plugged in and main power switch is on.
• Sit on the chair.
• Toggle [ ] power button to “wake up” the chair, LED light indicator will start with
a Glowing Blue Light.
• Press and hold [ ] to move the chair from Sofa position to Comfort or Lounge
position.
• Toggle [ ] to select between Solid Yellow Light and Solid Green Light.
• Shoulder detection will start automatically, and massage program will start
immediately after.
• If uDiva 3 Plus is paired to the App at any point of time during massage, the auto
program will stop. Yon can restart the massage by choosing from the list of auto
programs via App.
• LED light indicator will continue to emit Glowing Blue Light if no music streaming
or App connection are found and control panel is not activated. After 4 mins, the
chair will go into standby mode and LED light indicator will change to a Dim White
Light.

Manual massage programs via App
Manual massage can only be activated via App.
• Ensure chair is plugged in and main power switch is on.
• Go into the OSIM uDiva 3 App on your smart device to pair with chair and start
manual massage.

OSIM uDiva 3 App download
Download the OSIM uDiva 3 App to enjoy additional product features exclusively through
the App.
Method 1 :
a: You can directly open OSIM uDiva 3 App via NFC tag.
Tap your smart device against the NFC tag on the product and it will open up the
OSIM uDiva 3 App.
Method 2:
Scan the QR code below to download and install App for free.

Go to the respective App stores (depending on your operating system and region), search for
“OSIM uDiva 3 App” to download and install App.
•Please check the NFC location on your smart device before using this feature as it varies
for different models.
•You may need to remove the cover on your smart device for better sensitivity.
Functionality of OSIM uDiva 3 App
•You are able to control the product through the OSIM uDiva 3 App.
•New features will be highlighted and made available in the App, so that the product can
stay up-to-date with the latest features.
Compatibility of OSIM uDiva 3 App
•Due to variations in operating systems, non-compatibility could occur. We recommend
updating your mobile operating system whenever a new version is available to enjoy the
new App features. The minimum requirements for mobile operating system are subjected
to change without notice.
•All smart devices require a compatible wireless connectivity (Wi-Fi or cellular data
networks).
•For updates on OSIM uDiva 3 App, please visit the respective App stores.
•Notifications of App updates are encouraged to be enabled, and it is recommended that
you install all updates to ensure that the App will function correctly and is kept up to date.

Product care and storage
Chair placement and storage
Environmental factors can strongly affect the product physically and mechanically. Do not expose
the product to direct sunlight or in places with extreme heat or air-conditioning vents. These can
cause the upholstery to dry up, crack or the colour to fade.
If the product is not to be used for a long period of time, cover it with a dust cover and disconnect
the power plug from the electrical outlet.
Clean the product using a dry cloth regularly
Before cleaning, ensure that the main switch is turned off and the power plug is disconnected
from the electrical outlet.
The upholstery of the product is customarily exposed to the natural body oils of users.
The main unit structure and fabric can be cleaned thoroughly with a piece of soft, dry cloth. The
common micro-fibre cleaning materials or gloves are very well suited for this routine maintenance
process. Such materials and gloves are available for sale in most DIY shops.
Do NOT use wet elements for cleaning
The product is made up of electrical components and mechanical parts, which are all very
sensitive to moisture. Under no circumstances should they be exposed to any form of water or
moisture. If you use water (eg. a wet cloth) to clean the upholstery, the coating may be eroded
and the protection for the product will be diminished.
As for the Control Panel, it may result in malfunction if you use a wet cloth to clean.
Do NOT use cleaning agents
No maintenance is required. Under no circumstances should you use any cleaning agents, to
clean the product. This may cause damage to upholstery.
Do not wash the upholstery using domestic washing machine. This may result in the deterioration
of upholstery quality.
Care for your Cushion Cover
Cushion Cover can ONLY be hand-washed in water under 30°C. No bleaching allowed. You should
NOT machine-dry the Cushion Cover. DO NOT iron the Cushion Cover.
Care for your Cushion
Cushion is NOT washable. DO NOT wash the Cushion. It is advisable to only air it under the sun
(without the Cushion Cover).
Do NOT attempt to repair your product
Under no circumstances should you attempt to repair the product, for safety reason.
If you suspect a malfunction, always call the OSIM Service Center for further assistance and
information.

• Stop use immediately and contact
OSIM Service Center for assistance.
• The auto timer of 15 minutes has lapsed.
Press any program button to restart the
massage.
• If the uDiva 3 Plus fails to restart, turn off
the main power switch on the electrical
outlet. Turn it on again after 10 seconds.
• If the same problem persists,
please turn off the Main Switch, disconnect
the power plug from the electrical outlet
and contact OSIM Service Center.
If you encounter problems operating the uDiva 3 Plus, please check the following points for
rectification. If the problems persist, please switch off the main switch of the uDiva 3 Plus and
disconnect the power plug from the power electrical outlet. Contact the OSIM Service Center*
for servicing.
Do not dismantle or attempt to repair the uDiva 3 Plus yourself. Doing so will void the
warranty and OSIM will not bear any responsibility for any subsequent consequences.

Product warranty is valid only in the country of purchase.
• Frictional sound of rollers against
backrest.
•Frictional sound of rollers within the
footrest.
• Motor sound during operation.
• Loud sound during tapping and
kneading massage.
• These sounds are the result of
mechanical structure and not
malfunction.
• This may occur during normal usage.

• Check the power plug and ensure that it is
securely connected to the electrical outlet.
• Ensure that the main switch is turned ‘ON’.
• The power cord and plug are

• The uDiva 3 Plus does not start
operation.
• Ensure that the backrest and footrest are
fully extended.
• Ensure that the main switch and the
switch on the electrical outlet is turned on.
• Ensure that the power plug is firmly
connected to the electrical outlet.
• Check that the voltage at the electrical
outlet is adequate.
Problem Possible Cause / Action
• The massage rollers stop during
the massage session.
• The roller mechanism may be strained
when subjected to excessive force.
• Do not apply excessive force on the
rollers.
