Thank you for purchasing the OSIM uGrace Smart. Please read the operation manual
thoroughly for the correct methods of usage and take special notice of the safety section
before you start.
This manual should be kept on hand for easy reference. It is your guide to a safe and efficient
operation.

Safety
Usage environment
• Do not use the product in a dusty
environment as this may result in
malfunction.
• Do not place the product on extremely
hot or cold surfaces.
• Do not expose the product to heaters,
stoves or direct sunlight.
• Place and use the product on an even,
hard and non-slip floor.
• The product is designed for home use and
not for commercial purposes.
Safety precautions
• Do not use the the product if any part of
the product is cracked.
• Do not insert any object into the product
as this may result in malfunction.
• Do not stack heavy items on the product.
• Do not drop the product or allow it to
come into contact with water.
• Do not subject the product to shock or
vibration.
• Do not attempt to disassemble or repair
the product. Users are to contact OSIM
Service Centre for further assistance and
information.
Usage safety
• Do not use or operate the product when
your body or feet are wet.
• Do not step on the edge of the product.
• Remove footwear before using the product
to avoid scratching the glass platform.
• The product is a high precision measuring
device. Do not jump or stomp on the
product.
• Body composition measurement on
the product is not intended for children
under 10 years of age or pregnant
women. The measurements provided
are not substitutes for your physician’s
assessments of bone mineral density or
osteoporosis.
•This product is not intended for self-
diagnosis or self-treatment of conditions
that should be managed by a qualified
health care provider.
• Children should be supervised by an adult
to ensure that they do not play with the
product.
• Do not use the product if you have
pacemakers, ventilators, electro-
cardiographs, artificial limbs, contraceptive
device or metal implants. When in doubt,
please consult a medical doctor.

• Remove the screw to open the battery compartment cover at the back of the uGrace Smart.
•Insert 2 X 1.5V ‘AAA’ alkaline battery and ensure that the (+) and (-) polarities of the
batteries are fitted correctly.
Setting the weight and height unit
•Select the measuring unit (kg or lb; cm or ft-in) by pressing the measuring unit button
located at the back of the uGrace Smart.
Note:
• Remove batteries from the battery compartment when the uGrace Smart will not be used
for a long period of time so as to prevent any battery leakage.
• Exhausted batteries are to be safely disposed.
• Different types of batteries, or new and used batteries are not to be mixed.
• Do not use rechargeable batteries.
Preparation before use

To store settings into user memory
The uGrace Smart allows user to store and recall their own gender, height and age settings.
• Press the ‘SET’ button [ ] to switch on the uGrace Smart for body weight and
composition measurement.
The values are to be adjusted in this order. Blinking icon indicates it is ready for adjustment.
1. Memory code
2. Select gender
3. Set height
4. Set age
Once the LCD screen displays the [0.0] as shown below, the uGrace Smart is ready for
measurements.
Take note to step on the uGrace Smart’s electrodes barefooted and remain still until your
measurement is completed.
Manual operation
• Step on the uGrace Smart and stand still while the uGrace Smart measures your weight.
Your weight measurement will be displayed for about 10 seconds before the uGrace Smart
switches off automatically.
•Press ‘Up’ button [ ] or ‘Down’ button
[ ] to adjust.
• Use ‘SET’ button [ ] to confirm.
• The next icon will start blinking, indicating
it is ready for adjustment.
To measure body weight only

Recalling previously stored user settings
• Press the ‘SET’ button [ ] to switch on the uGrace Smart for body weight and composition
measurement.
• Press ‘Up’ button [ ] or ‘Down’ button [ ] to select your preset memory code (1 to 12).
• Press the ‘SET’ button [ ] to confirm your memory code for measurement.
• The LCD screen will recall and display the selected user memory’s gender and height before
it displays [ 0.0 ].
• Step onto the uGrace Smart and remain still on it to start the measurement.
Body composition display sequence
• Your body weight and composition measurements will be displayed in the following order:
1. Body weight
2. Body fat and body size
3. Hydration
4. Muscle mass
5. Bone mass
6. Basal Metabolic Rate

1. Turn on the Bluetooth on your smart device.
2. Download and launch the OSIM Well-Being App.
3. Create an account if you’re a new user or login if you’re an
existing user.
4. Go to Devices Tab and select the [ ] button to add and register
the device to your account by scanning the QR Code/ Barcode
or by manual input.
5. When registration has succeeded, select ‘uGrace Smart’ on the Device tab and tap to pair.
6. Follow onscreen instructions.
7. The ‘uGrace Smart’ icon image will appear on the pairing list when the product is
detected. Tap on it to connect.
8. You may now start measuring by tapping on ‘uGrace Smart’ on the Device tab.
9. Follow the tutorial closely to begin measurement.

Compatibility of OSIM Well-Being App
• Compatible with selected smart devices running on iOS version 12 and above or Android ver-
sion 5.0 and above.
• All smart devices require compatible connectivity using wireless (Wi-Fi or cellular data net-
works) and Bluetooth-LE 4.0 and above.
•For updates on OSIM Well-Being App, please visit the respective app stores.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter problems with the operation of the uGrace Smart, please check the following
points to see if it can be rectified. If the uGrace Smart still malfunction or does not work,
please remove the batteries from the battery compartment. Contact OSIM Service Center* for
servicing.
Do not dismantle or attempt to repair the uGrace Smart yourself. Doing so will
void the warranty and OSIM will not bear any responsibility for any subsequent
consequences.
•LCD screen does not display body
composition measurement.
Problem Possible causes / actions
•Ensure that you stand barefooted on the
uGrace Smart and maintain maximum
contact with the steel electrode.
•Ensure that you remain still on
the uGrace Smart until your body
composition measurement has been
completed.
•The uGrace Smart will not start. •Check and replace with new batteries if
power is weak.
•Ensure the polarities of batteries are
correct.
•Ensure the batteries are firmly affixed
in the battery compartment.
•LCD screen displays ‘LO’. •The battery power is weak. Check and
replace with new batteries.

•LCD screen displays ‘Err’.
•LCD screen displays ‘Err L’.
•LCD screen displays ‘Err H’.
•Overload warning. Remove the weight
immediately otherwise it may result
in permanent damage to the uGrace
Smart.
•The body fat percentage is too low, it is
below the uGrace Smart’s measurement
range.
•The body fat percentage is too high, it is
beyond the uGrace Smart’s measurement
range.
•Failure to connect the uGrace Smart
with your smart device.
•LCD screen displays ‘C‘
•Ensure that the Bluetooth version is BLE
4.0 and above.
•Ensure that the Bluetooth on your smart
device is turned on.
•Ensure that the pairing distance is within
the signal coverage range of 5 meters.
•Turn on the uGrace Smart again and
reattempt pairing.
•Only one smart device can be paired with
uGrace Smart at a time. Ensure that no
other smart device remains connected to
the uGrace Smart before pairing.
•If problem persists, unpair and reattempt
pairing.
•Re-test. Step off the uGrace Smart and
start over.
•Impedance cannot be measured.
Maintain maximize contact between
your feet and the electrodes. You may
need to moisturize your feet with lotion
to improve the contact.

• 取出螺丝打开 uGrace Smart 背面的电池储存格盒盖。
• 将 2颗1.5V「AAA」碱性电池置入电池储存格并且确认电池的正（+）负（-）极的位
置正确。
注意:
• 若长时间没使用 uGrace Smart，请从电池储存格取出电池以防电池溢漏。
• 请取出耗尽的电池并妥善处理抛弃。
• 不同类型的电池，或新与使用过的电池不可被混合。
• 勿使用充电电池。

操作方式
仅测量体重
• 站在 uGrace Smart 上，测量体重时请保持静止不动。您的体重测量显示10秒钟
后 ，uGrace Smart 将会自动关闭。
按照此顺序进行调整。当图标开始闪烁，表示可以进行调整。
1. 记忆代号
2. 性别
3. 高度
4. 年龄
LCD 显示屏将会如图显示 [ 0.0 ]，代表 uGrace Smart 现可进行体重和身体成分测量。
请光脚地踩在 uGrace Smart 的电极上及保持静止不动直到测量完成。
设定储存在使用者记忆
uGrace Smart 能让使用者储存和显示个人的性别、身高和年龄设定。
• 按下 「确认」按钮 [ ] 一次，使用者记忆代号图标将会闪烁。
• 使用「上」按钮［ ］或「下」按钮
［ ］进行调整。
• 选择 「确认」按钮 ［ ］确认您的调
整。
• 当图表开始闪烁，代表已可以进行调
整。

使用其它已设定的使用者记忆测量
• 按下 「确认」按钮 [ ] 开启 uGrace Smart 测量体重和身体成分
• 按下「上」按钮 [ ] 或「下」按钮 [ ] 选择已设定的使用者记忆代号
（Code 1 至 Code 12）。
• 按下「确认」按钮 [ ] 设定使用者记忆代号。
• LCD 显示屏将显示所选使用者记忆代号的性别、年龄和高度，再显示 [ 0.0 ]。
• 站在 uGrace Smart 上开始进行测量并保持静止不动。
身体成分显示次序
• 您的体重与身体成份测量将以以下次序显示。
1. 体重
2. 体脂与体型
3. 身体含水量
4. 肌肉
5. 骨量
6. 基础代谢率
