【Caution】
・The lightning memory can only be installed on earth wire. Do not install it
on power line.
・Indoor use only. Do not use it outdoor.
・Do not expose the lightning memory in the environmental conditions such as
rain, direct sunshine, corrosion gas and dust.
・Remove the batteries and store the lightning memory when it is not used.
・Do not handle the lightning memory with wet hand.
・Push the button slowly and carefully. Prevent a mechanical shock or do not drop it.
・Do not dismantle or remodel it.
・Do not use different batteries except specified batteries.
・In the event of lightning surge exceeding the specification, the lightning memory
may fail.
【Warning】
・Do not install the lightning memory or replace the batteries when lightning strikes.
１ Safety instruction
６ Indication of record data
①Open the 2 lids for batteries on the bottom.
②Insert 2 pieces of LR03 (AAA) size batteries
with care of polarity.
③After inserting the batteries, LCD shows the
operation menu and then LCD turns off for
measurement mode.
④Close the lids and fix them until they click.
【Important】
It is recommended that the batteries are replaced every 2 years.
After replacing the batteries, the time returns to initial setting. （00/01/01 00:00）
Make sure to set the time correctly after replacing the batteries.
（Record data will not be lost.）
Conduct the operation test by pushing “TEST” button after replacing the batteries.
Please read the instructions before installing the product, as this
instruction manual explains how to use the lightning memory effectively
and safely.

５ Operation test
When pushing “TEST” button for more than 1 second during
LCD turns off (Measurement mode), time, “T”, and the number
of count are shown. The test operation is recorded to internal
memory. Because of this operation, this device can be confirmed
that it is normal. 【Test indication】

1) Installation by screws
Earth wire is passed through the
bottom dent and fix it by M5 or M6
screws. (2 parts, 1.5 to 2N・m）
It becomes measurement condition.
2) Installation by cable ties
Earth wire is passed through the
bottom dent and fix it by 2 cable ties.
It becomes measurement condition.
３ Time setting
①Push “TEST” button and “DATA” button at the
same time for more than 1 second. The LCD
changes to the time setting mode.
※If these buttons are not pushed for more than 10 second,
LCD turns off and returns to measurement mode.
②Set year, month, day, hour, minute in order by pushing
the buttons.
“TIME” button：Increase the number
“TEST” button：Decrease the number
“DATA”button：Set the number and move to next setting
③After setting the time(minute) and push “DATA”
button, LCD shows “SET” and time setting is completed.
④If “TIME” button is pushed for more than 1 second, LCD
shows the current time for 5 seconds. Check this time
that is correct.

【TIME button】
8 Delete of record data
1) Delete of record data
Push “TIME” button and “TEST” button at the same time for
more than 1second. LCD shows “00” and all record data are
deleted.
【Important】
If record data are deleted, these data cannot be restored.
2) Maximum record data
Totally maximum 99 data can be recorded. If total data
becomes 99, more data cannot be recorded. If operation test is
conducted, LCD shows “DATA FULL”.
Even when the recorded data is 99, the signal contact becomes
“close” when operating and testing.（OLM-2S）
