Please read the ollowing instructions care ully
TIP: Refer to the photograph to help when pitching your Compactalite Pro 325
•Please do not leave for your vacation without fully erecting and checking the contents of your
porch.
•Ideally erect your awning for some period allowing it to weather.
•Please make sure that before erecting, that you site the awning on clear Level ground with no
sharp objects underneath, and that all the ips are fully closed. (We recommend laying a
groundsheet down to keep the awning Dry and clean)
•If you have any issues relating to pitching your awning please contact your dealer for instructions
before going on holiday.

ERECTION INSTRUCTIONS
Ideally this is a 2 person process to avoid awning damage.
1. Lay the outer/ lysheet and spread out on the ground, Ensure all panels are zipped up ully. Before starting to put the
awning on your caravan check the edges of the channel for any sharp corners or damage as this can snag the
fabric and sometimes cause damage to the awning. Slide the awning pro ile through the caravan rail, and spread
evenly across the caravan roo . (photo 1&2)

2. Once the awning is in the desired position on your caravan open the pole bag and take out the 3 ibreglass roo poles
and 3 steel poles and lay out on the ground, (Most poles are broken during pitching so take extreme care at this
stage) – Spare poles can be purchased at your dealer if you accidentally break one. In the case o the ibre poles
ensure the poles are seated correctly within each o the metal errules when opening out. (photo 3,4&5)
3. First slacken the tension straps at the base o the awning where the where each pole locates then take one o the
ibreglass pole sections and slide through either o the outer roo channels, then locate one o the steel vertical poles
into position using the errel at the end o the ibreglass pole. A ter this locate the steel pole into position using the pin
on the ‘ring and pin’ assembly located on the black webbing around the oot o the awning Continue this process with
the remaining poles. Finally clip the black plastic locating clips to the poles, and tension the the straps which you
slackened earlier. (photo 6,7,8,9,10&11)
4. You will now notice the two outer poles will drop inwards onto the awning canvas, in order to recti y this take the
stability strap on one end and peg out, this will pull the pole outwards and hold it in position whilst you work on setting
the awning, a ter you have done this repeat the process at the other end (only knock the peg in hal way as it is likely
you will have to reset this at the end.) A ter this has been done the back o the awning by the caravan should now be
pegged through the steel rings at the corners and the buckles tensioned slightly.(photo 12,13,14&15)
5. The sections or the steel stabiliser pole should now be taken inside the awning. The cross pole should be opened out
and the 2 legs should be attached. I you look at the ront o the awning you will see a number o ‘zipped sleeves’ and
tapes these are to hold the stabiliser pole in place. Unzip the sleeves and o er up the assembly into position and
complete by tying the tapes Then connect the pole legs at either side by using the metal pins on ‘ring and pin’
assembly at the base o the awning, then inally zip up the sleeves.(photo 16,17,18,19 &20)
6. You may notice the ront section o the awning may rise up o the ground this is not a problem and once you have the
corners pegged should pull back down (this is due to the tension on the steel stability bar) (photo 21)
7. Now continue by placing pegs in the 2 ront corners o the awning ollowed by pegging the remaining points along the
ront, ensuring all pegging is in a straight line. Remember when pegging to use the ‘ring and pin’ assemblies as
pegging points through the centre o the ring. (Do not over tension as this can sometimes lead to damaged zips) TIP
pegs per orm best when inserted at 45 degrees into the ground. (photo 22&23)
8. Peg the gusseted langes at the rear o the awning in such a way that a seal is ormed against the caravan side. The
shock chord can be gently tightened to maximise this seal by pulling tight through the black toggle. (photo 24&25)
9. Guy lines can now be tensioned and pegged ( remember you may have to re-adjust the yellow stability straps you
positioned earlier) please ensure in heavy weather that ALL guy lines and the stability straps are used.

10. Take care not to over tension as this can damage your awning or awning zips. (Please note that ailure to use all the
lines may result in your awning being damaged)

along your caravan base. (ask your supplier)
ADDITIONAL EATURES ON YOUR COMPACTALITE PRO 325
1) TAGS HANGING FROM THE ROOF ARE TO ATTATCH AN INNER TENT (ADDITIONAL COST ITEM).
2) NEW TYPE VERTICAL FOAM PADS TO SEAL AGAINST THE CARAVAN (ADDITIONAL REAR PAD POLES MAY BE
PURCHASED TO IMPROVE THE SEAL IF DESIRED)
3) THE POCKETS AT THE BASE OF THE DOORS ARE TO ACCOMMODATE THE (FOLDED) DOOR PANEL IF YOU WISH
TO HAVE THE DOOR OPEN.
4) DETACHABLE WEBBING ACROSS BASE OF FRONT DOOR TO ELIMINATE TRIP HAZARD WHEN AWNING IS FULLY
ERECTED.
5) ADDITIONAL POCKETS ON THE ROOF INSIDE AWNING ARE TO ACCOMMODATE TENSIONER POLE (EXTRA COST
OPTION IF REQUIRED)
** IN EXTREME WEATHER, TAKE YOUR AWNING DOWN**
Please note these few points for trouble free camping.
a. After use please take extreme care when packing away. Ensure the Compactalite Pro 325 is dry
(including the poles) and air the tent before packing away.
b. Any dirt or stains can be removed by brushing or gently washing with warm water. DO NOT use
detergents as this will destroy the waterproofing on the fabrics.
c. We advise that you DO NOT cook or smoke in this awning; although the outer fabric is fire retardant
treated it will still melt.
d. During use, particularly during rain, avoid touching the outer fabric as this may cause moisture to be
drawn into the porch awning.
e. Please make sure that you have a good time.
**We highly recommend that you insure your awning against storm damage or accidental damage, as the warranty
does not cover such eventualities. The manufacturer is not liable for any damage caused to the caravan because of
misuse, incorrect pitching or extreme weather**
