IMPORTANT: WARNINGS
AND SAFETY INFORMATION
1. Do not use the auto-shade™ if the strapping
or fabric covers or obstructs any rear door
panel airbags.
2. In periods of heavy/prolonged rainfall it is
recommended that the auto-shade™ be
removed as leakage may occur in some
makes/models of vehicles. Remove for car
washing.
3. The auto-shade™ is not designed to be in
use 24 hours a day. A coating designed to
protect the fabric from damaging UV rays is
applied to the fabric but as it faces a high UV
concentration and outdoor conditions daily
the fabric will be subject to some fading and
wear and tear. To further the life of your
shade it is recommended that it be removed
and stored when not in use.
4. In use, regularly turning and using the shade
inside out will help prolong its life. To achieve
this with the rounded shade it can be
alternated between the right and left
windows.
5. Visibility: It is recommended that exterior
rear-view mirrors be used and that the
auto-shade™ be removed if vision is
impaired at any time.
6. Adjust or do not use the auto-shade™ if it
covers a door locking mechanism.
7. The auto-shade™ and it’s Packaging are not
a toy. Remove any packaging immediately
away from children’s reach, and dispose of
carefully, packaging bags can cause
suffocation.
8. Children should always be fitted in a safety
approved car seat and safety harness or seat
belt. Never leave children unattended in a
vehicle.

If discarding the packaging please dispose of
it carefully and recycle where possible.

1. Les fabricants de voiture conseillent de

2. Lors de fortes et longues pluies, il est
recommandé de retirer l’auto-shade™, des
fuites peuvent se former sur certaines
voitures. Retirer lorsque vous lavez la voiture.
3. L’auto-shade™ n’est pas conçu pour être
utilisé toute la journée. Une couche protège
le tissu des rayons UV nocifs, comme cette
couche est soumise à une surexposition aux
rayons UV nocifs et aux rudes conditions
atmosphériques, le tissu sera sujet à
décoloration et usure. Pour maximiser sa
durée de vie, il est recommandé de retirer et
ranger l’auto-shade lorsque vous ne l’utilisez
pas.
4. Lors de l’utilisation, retourner régulièrement
l’auto-shade prolongera sa durée de vie.
Pour l’auto-shade rond, alterner l’utilisation
sur la portière droite et la porte gauche.

l’auto-shade™ si la vision est altérée.
6. Ajuster ou ne pas utiliser l’auto-shade™ si

pas des jouets. Placer l’emballage
immédiatement hors de la portée des

Thank you for purchasing the Outlook®auto-shade™– the unique new solution to the problem of
providing shade for children and other rear seat passengers travelling in your vehicle.
The multi-fitting auto-shade™ is designed to fit over the OUTER edge of your vehicle’s door frame,
giving effective sun protection for the whole window.
This also means the shade will stay in place even when the window is opened, allowing ventilation
when required yet still protecting your child from 80% of harmful UV rays and (thanks to the fine
mesh construction) from flying insects.
Quick and easy to fit and remove , the auto-shade™ comes either in a pack of two, one for each
rear window or in single packs. The rectangular single is interchangeable and the rounded single
is made for the left hand window and should be turned inside out to fit the right hand window.

About the auto-shade™
Made of a stretchy UPF10 fabric
with a fine mesh construction the
auto-shade™ will screen up 80% of
the sun's harmful UV rays and provides
effective protection from flying insects
when the window is open.
Designed to be multi-fitting, it is made
in just 2 basic shapes so that it can
easily be swapped between different
makes and model of car.
The rectangular auto-shade™ will fit
the majority of 4-door vehicles. Cars
with curved or angled rear windows
will be better suited to the rounded
auto-shade™.
The auto-shade™ is not suitable for
use on sliding doors. It can be used
on frameless doors but this will inhibit
lowering of the window.
Fitting instructions
1. Slip the auto-shade™ over the rear
passenger door with the Outlook®
label facing outside. (pic 1)
2. Loosen the adjustment slider. (pic 2)
3. Fix the bent clip under the door
(the auto-shade™ clip has been
designed to accommodate a range
of vehicle doors. Please ensure the
strap and clip are attached
securely). (pic 3 )
4. Re-adjust the slider so the
auto-shade™ fabric fits comfortably
over the window. Do not over
tighten the strapping. (pic 2)
5. Secure any loose strapping inside
the door and tuck ends well away
from children’s reach.
6. Ensure rods are not stuck in the
door hinge. If this occurs you will
need to re-adjust the webbing and
clip so the rod is directed away
from the door.
Washing instructions
Hand wash or lightly sponge with soft cloth. Do not bleach.
Do not machine wash. Do not dry clean. Do not tumble dry.
Dry flat in the shade. Do not immerse rods or clip in water.

flexible. Ses formes basiques (forme
ronde ou rectangulaire) permettent

L’auto-shade™ rectangulaire s’adapte
à la majorité des voitures 4 portes.
L’auto-shade™ rond est recommandé
pour les fenêtres arrières en angle ou
arrondies. L’auto-shade™ n’est pas
compatible avec les voitures aux
portières coulissantes. Il peut être
utilisé sur les fenêtres sans armatures
mais cela limitera leur abaissement.
Installation
1. Glisser l’auto-shade™ sur
l’armature de la portière arrière
de la voiture en plaçant l’étiquette
Outlook® à l’extérieur de la voiture.

2. Allonger les sangles. (pic 2)
3. Attacher le crochet sous la portière
(le crochet de l’auto-shade™ a été
créé pour s’adapter à une majorité
de voitures. Assurez-vous que les
crochets sont bien fixés. (pic 3 )
4. Ajuster la longueur des sangles
jusqu’à ce que l’auto-shade soit
bien tendu. Ne pas trop serrer.

5. Placer les bouts de sangles hors
de la portée des enfants.
6. Assurez-vous que la tringle ne soit
pas prise dans la charnière de la
portière lors de la fermeture.
Ci tel est le cas repositionner
l’auto-shade et réajuster la
longueur des sangles.
Entretient
Laver à la main ou éponger avec un tissu doux. Ne pas laver en machine.
Ne pas laver à sec. Ne pas sécher en machine. Ne pas utiliser d’eau de javel.
Sécher à plat. Ne pas immerger les sangles et les crochets dans l’eau.
